Just the memories of this place make dreamland better than any other theme park. Grew up near Margate and dreamland was my favourite place to go with my family

My mum used to holiday here as a child, revisit as teen, and today at the age of 82 she had a trip on the big wheel !! Thank you so much to all those who made this possible ❤️

Really appreciate all the kind comments. With a bit of luck and some wisdom amongst the people driving it, Dreamland will open on time. Keep the faith!

I have nothing but sheer respect and admiration for the entire team behind this project. Seeing the hidden beauty of the ruins of this historical asset to Margate, made me shrivel inside with sheer passion, and almost anger as to how it could be allowed to get I to such a dire state. Thankfully, the team are doing an amazing job! And I for one, look forward to the day when it's finally done! You should all be extremely proud if your work so far, and long may DreamLand reign!!

Excellent! Good luck! As A kid Dreamland was just that a dream! Always remember as a child being taken on the round shaped boats that drifted through a cave like set up. Magic

Dreamland / Bembom Brothers was the place to go back in the day for decent fairground rides if you lived anywhere in the southeast. Then Chessington zoo upped it's game and suddenly traveling that great distance from Guildford to Margate wasn't so necessary. As a teenager 6 hours on a train was well worth it. You could buy a special combined return train ticket to Bembom Brothers. Happy days!
I hope the new Dreamland will be exciting enough to make this new generation of children want to travel the long distance we often made.
    Best of luck.

The biggest threat to Dreamland, Margate, and Thanet in general, is Thanet district council.

So, I went past Dreamland yesterday. There is a half built scenic railway and nothing else. They are supposed to be having a 'grand opening' in about 6 weeks. They talked a good game. Can they back it up? Let's hope so. Don't let us down Dreamland.

What happened next? Dreamland was sold off by the Council for peanuts and all the heritage rides disappeared. Now it is a small park with just a few rides as the owners use the park for live music events. Shame On Thanet District Council.

I dislike the style of the Gallery. So out of keeping. I was born and brought up in Margate, I worked in the Park when I was younger, when Margate was bustling. it was great. Viva Dreamland!

you need new rides to people don't want just old it well no that in amusement industry you need new ride to bring people bk or other wise people stop going and the park gose bust I cant see dreamland working unless it runs like any other park with new rides
