Diesel or Electric for performance fun? Comment below
Diesel always better!
JP-1 is better.
Remove the batteries and go diesel-electric.
DIESEL
The wrap is fantastic 🥹❤️❤️🏆
Diesel
I just wanna give a shout out to the editing crew. Yall put together sick ass shit, with some sick ass music. Yall keep rockin it!!!
I will say I'm not a fan of EV. BUT..... That build and performance is amazing
only on ev gtas is running out its not renwable
All it needs now is a diesel motor and itll be perfect
the diesel motor would remove the futuristic nature of the truck and it wouldnt have the instant, torquey, sporty feeling of the electric drivetrain.
I think this vehicle will be able to overcome any weather that comes your way. Just.
Keep building!
You would need to have a diesel generator on hand to charge your electric vehicle on the trail or while you are stuck in the middle of nowhere on a road trip!

Diesel electric like a train
there is such things as solar powered generators
My diesel, tipping the scales over 26,000 pounds, can travel 240-500 miles before needing to fill up (crossing South Dakota vs Colorado mountains). Typically, I need a bathroom break before I need fuel. My original engine is just approaching 300K miles on my 2006 LBZ. Fingers crossed, no major maintenance/breakdowns other than normal wear/tear. Dollar for dollar from manufacture to end of life, the diesel is more environmentally friendly to produce/manufacture, lasts longer, is more reliable & cost effective to repair. My engine is comparable in price to a small EV battery at roughly $14-15k to replace so no matter how I look at it, diesel is superior.
Diesel will be better for quite a while for the long rural road trip. No one is doubting that. But most people aren't using their vehicles for that use-case. The 150 mile round trip per day and end up back home is a much more common use case and is what EVs excel at - and the operating cost vs fossil fuels can be 80% less with electric in that case (at least in my neck of the woods - which ironically is hours further away from any Tesla Service center vs Sparks location in UT). I tire of all this angst because really it should all boil down to using the correct tool for the job!
@@jermwerty it's not the electric vehicles that I take issue with, it's the simple fact(s) they can't exist without our tax dollar subsidies and they're being pushed as 'environmentally friendly' which they aren't. 'They' have an agenda of control, not my opinion, just reality. Are they fun, yes. Are they practical/cost effective and good for the environment, no.
problem is that we do not have a way to power every single vehicle in this country with electricity
I'm sure there's enough to power every vehicle in the US, but studies have shown that if we were to replace every vehicle on the planet, there's only enough lithium to do it once. Therefore within 20 years, EV's will be a thing of the past...
Lithium is temporary, as there’s far superior energy storage with graphene, or saline for example. It’s just too pricey to manufacture at the moment.
@@johnrice6543batteries are almost completely recyclable
@@johnrice6543haha lithium isnt the only battery material numb nuts
thats factually wrong
i love that you guys are not closed minded on electric vehicles and are embracing this new revolutionary technology
Damn that looks cool.
Look forward to seeing you guys having more fun with it.
Diesel for sure! Electric would be fine for a grocery getter
Best thing is a hybrid with Diesel and electric so you dont need to be bound to find charging stations that might be broken or occupied by 10 other cars in line to charge.
Found the CCS charging guy!
the battery tech is in its infant stages in a few years there will be 1000+ miles battery tech ever heard of super capacitors
Electric still has a long way to go before it’s mainstream. The power grid will snap right now if more electric vehicles come on 😢
Very cool rigs guys did an excellent job
Diesel!!! Hands down
Hell ya😂
On
Electric has more torque
My heart broke seeing them undo the wrap lmao
That’s a sick wrap!!
The answer is YES. Why? Freight Trains. You should be the first to REMOVE the ct battery pack and replace it with a small CUMMINS that powers the electric motors, just like a modern freight train. lol
Awesome to your crew!
Electric is sneaking into longer and longer ranges, but to get wayyyyy out there and back, diesel can’t be beat… so far! If the range meets your needs though, electric is epic! I’ve been driving electric for 5 years now!
Dang I didn't know the tires where really that big . Till I saw it Dave walk the tire back beside him and David sat down to put the front tire on. I hope the two keep doing video together. Great team 😎
"THey just turn their backs and walk away." haha i loved lonely island nice little shout out to them boys.
Big Lady with Little Shoes 😂😂😂 that’s gotta be put into a T-Shirt that’s had everyone rolling 😂😂

I don't think you can beat the reliability diesel has proven time and time again
Electric motors last longer than diesel engines
@promx96 leave an electric motor and battery pack in the frozen tundra for 60 years and let me know how it's starts after words!?
@@AH-gr1oy what are you going to crank start your diesel engine by hand you still need a battery genius
Diesel 100% or how about diesel electric like our trains in the UK.
I sure wish you would make your shirts in 3XLT
EV is great for the instant torque, but I would never want to be away from population centers with just EV. Now a hybrid I could get in to.
DeBoss is doing a commercial pickup prototype hybrid that could be a really interesting start to a rescue truck since with all the power on board and all the instant torque of EV motors, but with a diesel generator that can keep it going for hundreds of miles. Plus it would be a great welding base with huge amounts of electricity on tap.
Also that 3d animation nice work 👍🏼
I love electric and I’m as diesel to the core as you guys are! I embraced electric with the release of the Porsche Taycan and that was just an S model sedan. It was all you could get at the time and it was insanely fast. I’m also a three decade long Porsche fan. So jump to 2023 and I ordered a Turbo S Cross Turismo and it’s probably the fastest most thrilling car I’ll ever own. I’ve got friends who say “I’ll never buy electric” and then take a ride and go buy one. It’s that good but the Taycan isn’t for the masses. Until automakers release an affordable electric under 30K with 500mi+ range, it’s never going to take off. People who knock electric typically can’t afford one…I’m not being rude, it’s fact. We also need an infrastructure that can produce consistent high power electricity from sun, wind and water otherwise using grid power does nothing when it comes from gas or liquid propane powered turbines….which is why I got excited when Sparks talked about Nikola’s hydrogen recreational vehicles. I’d like to see hydrogen developed more. What’s going on with Ember?
Awsome Job!
a torch can be youre best friend when it comes to welding aluminum
Good Lord, saw the first one in person last week, UGLIER THAN I COULD HAVE IMAGINED!!!!!
I was really shocked to see that heavy d doesn't know how to use a tire machine, the way he pushed the button and thought the arm would drop all the way to the rim by itself!
He shouldn't, that's why he pays guys to do it.
I've had an EV for just over a year, in my area there's not a large charging infrastructure, but do not suffer with the range anxiety or think my car will just engulf into a ball of flames. it's 0 - 60 (mph) is nice for a single motor car NOT Tesla. Personally I wouldn't go back to combustion if I had a choice.
You should wrap the Black Hawk! YEAH BOI!
Global auto sales ARE, and have been telling you how we feel.
THEY SUCK dude.
Id like to keep watching but i gotta getto church.ill have to tune back in later.
Do you have getto churches ??
@@Tequilas 😂😂 haha. Yeah I guess so. That's what Google thinks😂😂. Look up Dads place Bryan Ohio. We were in the news recently, 24 hr church.
What grows in the Plasma table Water, or is that why all the beards grow so fast at Sparks Motors? Nice Build fellas!
That's how you strip out threads by using a impact gun to start nuts n bolts, start them off with your fingers and then use the Impact gun. Hands leave it to the mechanics 😂
"TESLA BROTHERS" lmao
For the beeping I think you can stop that by putting Teslas in service mode?
Stick with what is dependable and practical 😊
Next vid gonna be awesome
I’ll always have my deleted diesel with my tesla. Electric is awesome with the tech and everything but i’m a big diesel fan too. I’m not sure why everyone hate on electric like okay just don’t buy one. I was actually the same way until I could afford one and they are amazing cars and save a ton of money and all the lies about them online are just bs.
"cool guys dont look at explosions" tshirt ;)
Dave looks stoned. Or sleep deprived. Guess you are human after all. Keep up the strong work.
They are all devout Mormons. No booze or drugs. Not even a little bit.
@@krisa3685 They just recently did a podcast during the snow trip. You should watch it. He is very clear that he does not drink, and suggested that he runs an outreach program... Very few internet personalities discuss their religious beliefs or associations. It tends to turn off some viewers. In an industry where every viewer counts, its smart to be quiet about it, unless your whole channel is religious based, of course.
back in my day we didnt have air pods, we had to listen to our thoughts like men.
Hello Sparks motors, can you tell me as I have know idea? But are all quality wraps on cars that good? It looks extremely tough! I'm thinking of doing it on my car as it looks it's age (not good)?? Thanks, love all formats of the show 👍🏼👌🏼👊🏼😎😁
Could you put the link to the wrap guys in description?
Wow!
We need a "Women can do everything a Man can" Sparks Motors
Looking good but man broke my heart when the bro dozer got beat and they had to help y'all out line eight times. Been a fan of the bro dozer since it saw it back in 2018. Love the bro dozer just broke my heart watching it get pulled out at the wrecker games 😢. But still done good and stilly favorite truck y'all take care be safe
Ask the local fire department. What they like to respond to.
these guys are my hero's/ so fucking cool man
Yes .. mat's off road games . .... But are you guys going to make a big offer road tow truck????????)
Forget where I saw it I wanna say Danny Duncans channel but they ran over something in a Tesla and it did that same beeping thing and turned out it was a wire that went from the door sensor to the wiring harness in the wheel well that got hit by something and was shorting out.
although the cybertruck is a big vehicle it looks like a micro machine sat in front of the bro dozer.
Ladies and gentlemen: Diesel-les Devon has joined the crew ✌🏻

One question do you have to disconnect the battery on that Tesla before you weld on it?
Guess the answer is No.
It worked at Matt's offroad thingy in Hurricane, Utah.....
Should have been a Blue Origin logo!
Man what testing we do here lmao
need a newer shop and definetl6y bigger
so Dave has more room to put stuff
lol
A Big shout out to the Sparks Motors crew for working all night to complete this cyber thingy so Dave Sparks could show it off at Matt's offroad games.
It got plenty of exposure and held up to the abusive sandy environment.
GREAT JOB SPARKS MOTORS
Lol DAVE BREAKS EVERYTHING sank his boat blew air cushion hover craft track cyber awesome truck. But it sure fun to watch him do it. Dave an that young man with giant monster truck they like let's break it brothers lol it sure fun watching them an you gentlemen are great crew. YOU ALL HAD THAT SNOW WITH ALL the CZcamsrs. Love Channel keep it up. Sorry about typos lol
It needs to be a Nikola Truck. Love my stock gains. Keep up the great work Dave. ❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
If you want Mars use Greenland like NASA😂
Electric has come a long way but diesel power is sweet!!
I like Hans seem so nice
Just get a tire cheetah 😂
The Mars Stalker
We never been to the Moon or Mars
@HeavyD @SparksMotor third video third request warthog from halo call it CyberHog
I wouldn't buy a ev if my life depended on it 😅😅 but If I do say so myself that cyber truck looks sic
Electric may be good to go out and play with in the sand box, but it will never replace gas or diesel. This should not even be a question. Especially on this channel!
All the way diesel is better
until its get dragged by the cyber truck plus is has wayy more torque than any diesel could dream of
Ok dinosaur. Some of us are sick of fighting oil wars so you can drive outdated things
@@IHatePikeys I know but gas and diesel is better for the Environment
@@promx96 diesel and gas is better for our environment
@@thecoolice bro…how are wars good for the environment? We had wars in Iraq/Kuwait for oil a and we do dirty things in oil-rich places like Libya, and There are literally of dozens of start-up re-cycling plants that take ev batteries, grind them down and harvest all the good material leftover.
You guys need a bigger helicopter so you can hook Cybertruck up and take it with you.
You NEED both, like a train or ship.

do an Edison kit ❤
what song at the begining..?
Who did the wrap?
What in God's name was that outro music
So is it Diesel Dave & Electric David? Instead of Diesel Dave and Heavy D
Surprised you don’t at least use hubcentric spacers “adapters”
Hi I really love your show and I really love your car 🚙 that looks very nice I will always praying 🙏 for you and your family and your friends ok and please be careful out there ok you have a wonderful day and have a good night and day ok I have been watching your show as soon it comes on ok I wach all of your show ok love Lorilee xoxoxoxox

Hey what’s up bros how y’all doing much love
Good job hand
How to charge it out there?
Good way to scratch the entire body but must be fun
Diesel over cyber urinal any day. Cyber trucks are banned in Australia for a reason. Don,t comply with safety design rules .Love your builds though .cheers from Australia
Diesel at least then you will get the 400 miles or more out of it. Also they rust up pretty good by themselves
8:58 - *points up* - *squints*
Hi I was wondering what was the song at 0:41 please
I don't understand all the hate against electric and looking towards evolution. Diesel power is great but has had a long time for research and development; Diesel cannot progress much further aside from renewables. Modern-day electric vehicles are still at an early stage, and over time will overtake diesel. What Dave is doing is extremely smart, he is conducting R&D and he will win because electric vehicles will overtake diesel at a near point.
That would be so funny to add a diesel generator in the bed to charge it. Just to be an ass. The Cybrid
No it would be smart hybrid is the way to go and better for the environment check out Edison motors
Under pressure some people work better that sound poetic😂
DP -> EP?
So what happened to that truck you were promoting that looks like an F150 raptor
Let's go Nikola
They both have a place to be superior. Diesel electric is the best of both worlds. Can make a tremendous amount of electric hp and be fuel efficient.
