That song is very bad, just generic... Not worth it
Suite is also a music term for a series of related pieces, so Bitter Suite may refer to the common theme.
I think for yourselves now you should relisten to "BLUE" and hear all the callbacks to previous songs and how the very closing notes of BITTERSUITE are setting us up for Blue. Also, SUITE - I believe - is not simply a reference to a HOTEL SUITE, but to a MUSICAL SUITE - in this case a BITTER one. Suite - being a musical composition with 3 or more distinct parts loften in different keys] - this has, I think 4 parts, like 3 or 4 parts to a short story. For me this is an incredible track, as is "Blue" and "Chihiro" - all are epic, I believe, and if the album becomes a classic, those 3 songs will be large part of why it is.

This song changes sooo much after some listens. My first listen was much like yours, now it became one of my absolut favorites. It is kind of built like a musical suite. So interesting!
this album is so much better when you listen to the whole thing in a row. the entire album is one piece. this song is far improved from letting blue play directly after and enjoying all the transitions between songs.
the end of bittersuite is a segue to the next song, blue. it's amazing how she does that in every album
Love it thanks. TBH this is why Billie didn't release singles ahead of the album, and asked that folks listen to the record front to back in one go... it's a sophisticated cinematic masterpiece and it definitely loses something when you break it up into pieces. BTW, the last 45 secs of this one is actually Blue. If you heard Blue again you'd also recognize that every line of the verse is from a different song on the album. Anyway, great stuff thanks. I came here for the Ren but I'm really enjoying your Billie journey!
Blue is a continuation to Bittersuite. The melody this song ends on is picked up again in the start of Blue.

I'm Enjoying Her So Much!!
Billie & Finneas recently did a show on Amazon music called Songline. Truely one of her best live performances and a must watch/listen. I promise it's worth it! ❤They do four songs from the new album with backup singers and several musicians. Very organic and beautiful. People are mentioning Wildflower. That was one of the songs , but check out all four songs and the interview. Absolutely stunning.
Their performance on Songline is so special! It took me a minute to get used to the girls singing with Billie, but I love it. She's such a sweetheart telling them how excited she was to work with them. Imagine seeing that performance live. 💞

Bittersuite is my favorite out of the album, all the sounds are phenomenal, the bass, the freaky bell, the synth, the wheelchair sounds slowong down and it being cut into 2 parts, the first one feeling to me at least like floating in water and the other one like being on a cruise near a tropical island, bittersuite is to me what chihiro is to everyone (dont get me wrong I love chihiro as well!)
I think what I love most about this album is the vulnerability. That and Finneas is on another level producing

This was Billie's 3rd studio album, and its sooo good. This song along with THE DINER is very underrated, maybe due to the fact it's hard to hear her as much. There is very small hidden meanings within this album, and the songs make a lot of sense knowing those meanings. I suspect she's coming out with a WILDFLOWER music video soon, but i'd recommend hearing the live version of the song. She recently also featured in a Charlie XCX song (first feature in a while). Overall, i'd love to see you guys listen to her other 2 studio albums and her EP. Loved seeing the reaction of this album tho, keep it up

This was why I said to listen in order, this song leads directly into Blue which you guys did already I think. And for die hard fans this was a huge breakout because she finally released Blue. Her song True Blue was never released and someone leaked it. So it was heard by her games years ago…. So hearing the end of Bittersuite sent people into a frenzy!

I know you've already listened to Blue, but I'd definitely recommend giving it a re-listen if you haven't, even if it's just on your own. It really brings the whole album together beautifully and you have a lot of context now that you didn't before.
