    This was Prime Jordan at age 28/29. He still could leap out of the building, but he also had that deadly fadeaway jumpshot by 91/92. This was the Jordan who could do both; kill you from the midrange and in the lane. And he still had the energy to be a monster on defense. As Jordan got older he became more of a jump shooter and less of a high flyer. In 1991-92 he could still do BOTH

    MJ is The Best of The Best, all time and forever, MJ=G.O.A.T and nobody or nothing will change that, it's easy if you know basketball a little bit. There is Michael later long long long nothing, until finally you can see Kobe and all the rest, today's NBA is just shooting practice as in training, without any defense as in the yard so you can not be a complete player and all are just runners players. Lack of emotions causes emptiness in the audience and a decrease in viewership and is a disease that is boring the current NBA.

    All these idiots talking about defense was weak back then need to get their eyes checked. The eye test doesn't lie. Jordan played in the most defensive/physical era in basketball hence making it 5x harder to score. Just look at the double/triple teams Jordan scores on vs today where you're lucky to see a second defender in the vicinity. Yes the NBA from top to bottom is more talented OFFENSIVELY today but the true greats can play in any era. Jordan would average 50 with all the spacing, open lanes to the basket and lack of physicality there is today.

    • @puredistancegolf
      @puredistancegolf Před 4 lety +5

      Totally agree. A bunch of 7/10 athletes trying their hardest is far more difficult than a bunch of 8.5/10 athletes not trying at all. And that's the difference and why the whole "athletes today are better, Jordan wouldn't dominate" nonsense carries no weight.

      It wasn’t. The defense in the 80’s wasn’t nearly as good as the 90’s MJ only played 4 full seasons in the 80’s with absolutely no help at all. How was he supposed to win. Also if the defense was so good that’s why teams scored so much back in the 80’s compared to the 90’s. I mean don’t get me wrong, but the best defensive era go
      1. 90s
      2. 00’s
      3.80’s

Jordan is in an entirely different category on agility & fluidity of motion than anyone in league history. Forget combing thru other NBA players for it: you won't find it. To see such 'unhitched' motion, you've got to go to Baryshnikov or Nadia Comaneci (female gymnastics). That's not hyperbole.

But i noticed a slight drop off by the 97-98 season, as he wasn't as accurate from the field. he would sometimes have to take a lotta shots to get his points. at 6:52 never gets old lolz

    i was thinking about what if MJ played Center, would he win a ring, well… he kinda played like a center if you really think about it. He scored in the post, scored in the mid range, passed around the post with other bigs, and played clean up on defense if someone’s man got by him. I always wondered, how did this guy win without a center? the answer is that he sorta played the role.
    also because the 3 point shot wasn’t so prevalent at the time, he could also cheat on his man at times, and help in the paint. He actually does this a lot in this video

    The NBA is just so lame today. It really is. Society in general is so soft and so entitled and that transfers over into pro sports. It's boys today. It used to be men. It's very evident.

    To all you bronsexuals. It's taken Lebron 17 years to barely catch up to MJ's accolades and stats. MJ did all of his damage in 11 full years. He played 13 with the Bulls, lost one year to injury and the other was the first comeback with less than 20 games remaining.
