The movie was called 'Sunshine' starring Christina Raines and a true story about a young girl dying of cancer and having to leave her 2 year old daughter behind and her husband. It's about the only thing I couldn't find on CZcams or on Amazon. Beautiful film albeit sad with some beautiful music.
Apparently it's now out on Blu-Ray but not on CZcams. It was the most watched Television Film in history and its emotional impact still resonates to this day. in certain moments he looks like john... but most of the time he doesn't.... this could have been such a terribly good film but they didn't nail few IMPORTANT aspects
It is just WRONG!!!!!!! He bought the plane - flew it for about 30 minutes with a copilot - and then had it painted. When it came back from the painters - it was painted and he crashed the following day. So he never flew it - solo - withoutht he new paint job!!!!
Cherybabyladyl!! What are you thinking? This was the worst movie I have ever seen!! Chad Lowe is by far the worst actor in history. What did you like about it? You are not a jd fan obviously but really, the acting?! Vomiting!!!

My favourite parts of the movie are where John's Father is teaching him to fly and they start to bond for the first time
