    Re: Tic Tacs, I wish they would make a candy made solely of the mild, yet delicious, vanilla-y coating you taste before the strong mint taste of the original white Tic Tacs. I love that taste! ❤😊

      A long time ago…. up until the late 90s, I think… there were vanilla mint Velamints. The mint was very mild and the vanilla was so yummy! I miss them so much.
      Apparently they made a chocolate mint, too.

    RE: Post-It Notes
    I find that finding the bottom edge is rather annoying, so when I buy Post-Its, I immediately get a marker and color the glued side. That way, finding the open side is immediate and easier. The company should use colored glue!

    My favorite hack when using a public toilet is to pull out about 10 to 20 inches of toilet paper and gently put it on top of the water perhaps in a V formation that way when you do use the toilet anything hitting the water will not create a splash back situation, where again if you do get splashed by that nasty public water denial actually is another hack so you don’t feel like you’ve just contracted every disease in the world

    I have watched many videos of monkeys eating bananas... they do not all open them the same way...some open them at the stem ,some from the other end and some from the side! others just bite them open in the middle and then eat them out of the peel.

    #raretopic using the blue cloth on the back of the airplane seat as an eye cover, and to keep your head from flopping around when you fall asleep is brilliant, but I would wonder if they changed that between every flight because sometimes people have strange, germs, their nose, or even leaking from their eyes or something crawling around in their hair might get underneath that cloth and if everyone does that you might be risking getting somebody else’s cooties on your face for hours… Question is do they change them out every time and even if they do when the cloth goes back, does it leave against the seat and then against the new cloth that you put on your face? Just depends on how desperate you are to use it

    Using "wrongly," not "wrong," what have Americans got against adverbs?

    • @newgabe09
      @newgabe09 Před 2 měsíci +2

      YEp, it annoys me too. But I commented on an English etymologist saying it and I was crisply informed it's been used that way 'for a few centuries'. I checkup and and he's right. Similar to how we can say ;I got it wrong the first time' or 'He spelled my name wrong'' without it sounding too dreadful. BUT YES, the great US war on adverbs is appalling.

      Cool vid, thank you.
      About a month ago I asked my sister (who lives with me) if she remembers the engraved hand mirror our Nana kept on the dresser in her bedroom. Sister said yes and we talked about how delicate and pretty it was, and how bummed we were when our Poppop placed it in her casket. A couple hours later I rec'd the first of many ads on my tablet for hand mirrors with delicate engraved flowers on the back. I did not search online for engraved hand mirrors. I haven't talked about that mirror since the 1980s. We have a few Echo Dots that we mostly use as an intercom but none of them were "on" while we were talking about the mirror.
      I will now quote Sgt Phil Esterhaus on Hill Street Blues: "Hey, let's be careful out there."

    Btw the Russian hacker is a bald white russian guy with lots of useful hacks not a random black computer hacker in a hoodie. If your gonna give credit maybe you should have shown who the real guy is atleast. He does life hacks, n shows gadgets like kitchen, yard, camping n all kind of stuff for everyday life n survival just incase, not a computer hacker.
