I am a fan of Ram, but the pricing is still ridiculous. I swear they would make the windshield optional if they could get away with it. There should only be one size fuel tank, make it as large as possible, wheel well liners, mandatory, and if you're going to drive up prices, make your sports hood functional.
I bought a loaded Laramie in 2017, paid 57K out the door. Just priced a 2024 Limited, same truck higher package, loaded. Price out the door 119k. Double what I paid 7 years ago. This includes lisc. Registration and the amazing Cali taxes
I can definitely agree with you. I’ve owned 3 new fords with the 6.7. And now just ordered my 3rd ram HD truck.. all I do is tow and there’s nothing like the Cummins, I just like the trucks so much better, although they definitely feel dated in some ways ram can somehow make them still look and feel competitive in todays market.
Was funny just this morning was working on at the front of my trailer, originally I thought the lights in the mirrors were gimmicky and just took up space for the convex, but I decided to try em because it was so dark I was so surprised at how bright they were like!!! Made a night and day difference, now one of my favorite features!

I picked one up last April or May and mine came with everything that has plus boxes, wireless charger that I can go without and a full moon roof with the Harman Kardon sounds and floor compartments and 360 camera for around 20k cheaper and I do love it so far..I understand what you mean on the digital tacks but I prefer the tacks it has over the limited digital ones..That's just my preference

JB i just got this truck, 2024 laramie night edition granite crystal. My truck is full load and does have the phone charger not sure why this truck dosent have it. I swapped my tires at 290km to Falken wild peaks lol. Love this truck, this is my 15th ram truck
I think this truck wasn't spec'd with the Laramie group option, which also throws in the heated rear seats. But I've never seen one without it, so maybe the dealer spec'd it specifically that way.
Mine does too, plus around 5 more options this white one doesn't have
Only downside is they not giving you fender flares on larami standard

Good Review...It's ok to be a Ram fan. Just traded my 2018 Dually Tradesman in on a Black - Dually Laramie Night Edition. Switched to Ram in 2018 (Was a Ford F250 guy) I'll never look back. Agree...The I6 is a beast when it comes to pulling. I pull a 40' Toy Hauler. There are only a few hills that worked my truck in Colorado and out west. Agree...Why Nexen? These tires MUST be kept at proper pressure or they will wear quickly! Mine came with all the digital goodies and charger. It also came with all the trailer cameras 360 Deg, moon roof, rear slider, 360 camera view. It's made this old dog happy! 105G marked down to 83G. :o) Watch for the price drop!

Shorter bed sides are better when towing fifth wheels. Less chance of contacting between the trailer and bed sides.
Not just for 5th wheelers - truck camper setups as well.

I know you're a Ram guy, but when you talk about Ford and do a review on a Ford SD you seem to like it better. All of these higher end trucks start to look almost the same with minor differences. Thanks for the video.
I noticed that too. But I think JB is just disappointed that the truck hasn't changed much whereas GM and Ford have significantly updated their trucks. Ram is an excellent workhorse but Ram is also charging the same that GM and Ford are on their newer trucks.
Possibly a120k with tax title exc. And no running boards, no phone charger no heated seats, and outdated???

This truck doesn’t have 360 camera? Hitch camera? Bed view camera, digital gauge cluster? Wireless phone charger? And it’s $100k? My $73k 2024 3500 LT has all that and a multi-folding tailgate. And RAM quality is not on par with the competition. Yes, the interior looks nice but watch all the little things that start wearing out. The tires are just one example how RAM uses the cheapest parts available.
Yes the price is ridiculous but quality of ram in my experience (I've had 4 brand new since 2012) has been overwhelmingly great quality. I've never had any major problems and only a couple very minor issues

The price of this truck is definitely up there but one key thing was missed from the equation: You can very likely get this truck

Price is ridiculous, especially for a Laramie! The auto market, especially the truck market, makes me mad and even sad. Not to mention Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, and Rams websites have not worked correctly for a very long time. You can overcharge fpr your products but csnt fix your websites! Smh

I hate how ram will drop something for top end trucks. No wireless charge, and fender flares also becomes extra instead of standard equipment.

Ram is a great truck. But it’s not worth 90k. Maybe 30 to 36k. Because at 90k you leave the lot and now it’s 40k. Not one truck on the road is worth that much money. But they will lose money because they will never sell them. So it’s just another tax write off. Pathetic
