'19 is the first Madden game I've seriously played in over ten years and I am loving it.
JanstonCordell your basically playing Madden 18 but with more yellow. But Madden 18 was just a sqaud update of 17. So yeah your basically playing madden 16 with a 2018 sqaud roster.

Go to coaching adjustments then set your intermediate and deep pass receptions to conservative. They'll hold on to the ball more often at the expense of yards after catch.

Idea for franchise:
In games throughout the season/playoffs you can save certain plays in replay mode and at the end of the season a cinematic trailer is made (similar to the screenshots in madden 19) and you can look back through out the save at the best moments from past seasons.
The game is pretty dope this year. More precise all around in my opinion.

@@raymonejohnson7774 ehh, too many cut scenes in my opinion, however, it basically runs as clean Franchise mode just not as free with choice due to the storyline.
You can hold L2 + R2 and press square on PS4 and slide every time - not sure what you're talking about on that one.

Love the vid man, coming from an OG of Madden, it felt like I was learning madden all over again (which I love). The fact I didn't need to hold "turbo","sprint" down immediately took awhile to get use to lol! There are a few quality of life improvements that would make it even better though, like the AI pass blocking and Run blocking, there was way too many instances where the dudes would just skip blocks or glitch by them. Completing passes in man coverage is a whole other ball game, it seems like they want to drop the ball 95% of the time even if you sneeze on them lol. BUT, I'm loving it. I just wish they'd bring back the Nfl combine for franchise.

Great vid been playing and was hating having to go to all my Mut cards to upgrade. Now I got that team tip to upgrade as I look at my lineup will save a lot of time. Conan does a 3 min vid with a thirty second commercial no skip. 16 min vid with three 5 sec skip commercial and awesome game winning tips. Sit Down Hampton.

Im having trouble with my defense responding and reacting like the CPU... in zone coverage my guys don't dive/jump to swat ball, we miss wide open interceptions, man coverage always getting beat on routes, inside/outside shade works sometimes and press never works... any suggestions to remedy these issues?

New player here! I could really use some tips&tricks in usering a LB properly. Oftentimes, I could anticipate who the receiver will be and position myself accordingly. But a sudden change of direction from the receiver is enough to throw me off. So far, I have better chance intercepting/swatting the ball by not usering anyone important and just let the CPU do the job.
you can qb slide if you hold RT+LT when pressing x as well

Do you think when you have conservative ball carry on in the coaching adjustments that it restricts some of you juking moves? One of my friends said that it did and there seems to be something to it cuz I remembered having it on conservative and trying to Juke an the player did absolutely nothing was this a Madden glitch or is there something to it?
So, with the new depth chart stuff, is it easier to use multiple running backs as a committee finally?

Eric how do you power up your player once you hit the chemistry tier??? Don’t know how to do the chemistry part of MUT. Trying to get my player ratings better but not really understanding the chemistry tier and everything else.
MGrenierify The chemistry tier is based off of how many players you have with the same chem. (Mine is West Coast) I have 5 players with the WC chemistry and if you have enough you get a boost

I don’t like this years running mechanisms but imma have to get use to it ..Any clue on why my receiver don’t even go for a catch when he’s on a drag and I try to RAC catch it ??? 4 times in a row I threw it to em and it hit him dead in the chest 😫

When upgrading a card how far can you upgrade that player? Can you upgrade him to 99 or can you upgrade him to the highest release of that card? Meaning if I have the base Patrick Peterson can I upgrade him to 99 or can I only upgrade to the highest Patrick Peterson in that game (which could be a 93)?

Hey bro Im having issues and wanted to see if you could help tell me what Im doing wrong. Seems like every time I get my defender in position to make a pick I cant get him to jump and go for it. Instead he just watches it go over his head and in the WR arms like he is a damn fan or something lol...Has there been some changes that Im not aware of? Its to the point now where Im second guessing myself if Im even hitting the right damn button...anyway if u could give me some direction Id appreciate it...Thanks man

Eric, when I let a drag route develop like at 12:00, a lot of times what will happen is that when I throw he ball, it hits the receiver in the back or even in the face, and they do this stupid animation where they act like they tried to catch it. It’s also very common over the middle or on like a curl route for the ball to just hit their face and bounce away. It seems to always happen in crucial situations. Does this ever happen to you? And if so, how do I fix it? It’s really annoying
Quick question about the legends team. Can take someone off the legends team and put him on my team, then start franchise with that legend?
Can you help me because every time I’m on offense it won’t let me snap the ball because of the wheel that says WR,TE,PWHB,TE and Wr then on the bottom it has Pass Blocking , Fatigue, ratings and Run Blocking The in the middle there is a circle with RS in the middle of it

What about the running ? Average run blocking teams I can’t get any run protection going, getting tackled behind line of scrimmage then also my runners are so sluggish
When i go to any gun formation my 3rd down hb comes in and when i try to sub in my starter, his rating is a lot lower. Anyone know whats going on?

What's up with the defensive player lock camera seems like you can only lock a player with the camera zooming out behind the offensive instead of being behind the player you wanna lock as.

why is when i bomb a pass to a wide out WR i click "X" to catch, my WR doesn't try to catch until after the ball hit the ground?
