Quick and easy explanation
That’s a great description that I can share with my non-developer friends. Some of them think making an App is “easy and straightforward” and that they could learn in a weekend or less if they were interested in it. Others think that you have to be a super genius and write code using only hexadecimal numbers and expensive systems.
I’ve tried to explain to them many times why things they think should be easy - are difficult and time consuming - and why things they think would be impossible can be accomplished in an hour - but usually just had glazed eyes staring back at me. This video explains it all very well - in non-programmer language! Will definitely be sharing it! Thanks!

Really great explanation. Thank you. I’m definitely subscribing
How is the communication happening between screen, code and data - is it a feature of the OS or APIs? Or is API to communicate only between different applications?
it is great description, i liked it
This really helps, they don’t explain this in school lol

1:12 How does the operating system know that the app has a button there? The app first has to tell the operating system that!
No, I think the operating systems tell how you should code their app. Because the phone has os first and apps later.
@@Mr.Jagota Can you formulate that more clearly?
I don't understand what you were trying to tell me.
