Cass Scenic Railroad "In the Snow"

On October 29, 2011 an unexpected October snowstorm brought several inches of snow to the mountains of West Virginia. In this video you will see Cass Scenic Railroad Shays #6 and #11 tackling the steep grades as they make the trip up Cass hill.

I love the way it looks with the steam and smoke in the snow especially when 6 approaches you between the switches. Also love how you can hear shay 11 at the crossing as 6 rounds Gum Curve.
