What a beautiful God we have! He not only made us in His image, but He WANTS us to know Him and have a relationship with Him. Who does that?! He didn't have to!
It also runs a chill through me (in a good way) to try to grasp that RC is, right now, reflecting God's image and beauty in a way that we will never be able to understand until we are there too. How desperately I long for that day.

“I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the sharing of his sufferings by becoming like him in his death, if somehow I may attain the resurrection of the dead. Not that I have already obtained this or have already reached the goal; but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Beloved, I do not consider that I have made it my own; but this one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the heavenly call of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:10-14).

    just willingness...
    to keep it simple.
God, Jesus will walk with us.
The footprints we see in the sand is the Holy Spirit
As Jesus carries us through the most difficult times

Wonderful conclusion. For many years I've known how that, the day when I am with the Lord will bring full, complete and joyous satiation and what I am becoming will be fully consumated. Yet, I had never really made the connection between seeing His face, which of course I've longed for, and that direct beholding of the face of God, as itself being the vehicle or source through which that perfection/completion will take place.
