Me too. I got the Apprentice 15e a month ago, and I love it.
It really helps getting lessons from the local club. I probably would have crashed many times without their instruction and buddy box system!
the planes with the ribbons put on the greatest demo of formation flying I have ever seen!
Watching the aerial shots and I'm like "hey is that Magic Mountain in the background?!". Wish I was there! It's a long way from here in Wales!

Thanks for hosting such a fun event...a buddy and myself hauled up the campers with all the kids and it was an awesome guys trip....hope to see you next year to fly and crash some more stuff
that looks so awesome when everyone goes up at once. I was amazed that I did not see any midair collision with all those crafts randomly swarming around. Very cool guys

I definitely loved seeing the B-52 float around up there. It was my favorite to watch!
it looks like it was an awesome event. but idk about the biggest west coast event. the cascade model helicopter funfly is always packed and usuually has a couple pros that show up every year. you guys should ask the cascade model heli club about using their field next year for flite fest west. its a huge field and is double sided so you ciuld have two flightlines. its not too far away from seattle either.

So upset that I am going to miss Flight Fest East. I even took the week off and Monday the next. Of course the only class for the new equipment...Flight Fest. Maybe Next year. Looks Like FFW 17 was a blast.

Some other video coined the time period after the combats, "flight fetch" when everyone would go retrieve their planes.
Wish I had been there! If you came to the UK I would be there like a shot. I guess Ireland is a tad too small :)
Seeing that high up clip near the end where there looks to be 20 or 30 fixed wings all circling in the air at one, I have to wonder how many mid air collisions happened over the entire event? :)

It would be awesome if the quad plane had some pieces of plexi glass or some sort of clear material between the wing tips of the planes to make it look like four planes in formation.
Make a flight fest south in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Their are some great places for it.
