There's an irony in the fact that all five are in the rock and roll hall of fame, but the Traveling Wilburys as a band are not. It isn't just that all five of them are great singers - they are all some of the greatest songwriters of all time. I don't know for sure but I am positive it was Tom Petty on the lead vocal. The harmony sounded more like Jeff Lynne - those sounded like ELO harmonies to me. Then the bridge sounded like Harrison or Lynne.

Saying a plural proper noun without some kind of article beforehand sounds super stilted and it is impractical to omit it. In written English, we can leave the the uncapitalized or only put the single word in quotations. In spoken English, I find it best just to pretend people are using a uncapitalized the. Otherwise, it just sounds pretentious and/or stilted. If bands don’t want to put an article on their name for album covers, that’s their prerogative, but omitting the article in conversation just sort of ignores how English works and how people actually talk.
Probably the only true super group not one ego just guy's having a great time making music also add the great Jim keltner on drums every track they made was just fantastic
Jim was a cousin of a coworker in Tulsa, she got his autograph for me on the program at one of the Tulsa awards shows. Sadly she wasn't thinking Elvin Bishop was there with them. Jim, RIP Sandy.
