I hope you are successful.
February 2019, my 27 yo Burnham Steam/Natural Gas boiler cracked.
My biggest problem was finding someone who wanted to work on STEAM !!!
My second problem was I was one year into disability and I had to dip into my 401k to pay for it.
It's 4 years later, my Burnham boiler was replaced by a very reputable, knowledgeable and reliable Master Plumber who learned the trade from his father and was keeping the family business going strong. He did everything he could do for me and put the heat back into our home.
There are a lot of people that don't know what to do when something like this happens in the middle of winter.
It never happens in the middle of summer.

Mikey, I hate to be a downer, but you've got to be really, really careful doing work or providing product and then being reimbursed by the non-profit that you're running. New York will say that you're burying the cost of the item in your labor and also getting paid by the non-profit. You DO NOT want to try to prove your labor costs based on prior jobs. You will be sending them thousands of documents to establish the cost of labor on jobs and they will STILL disallow it, force you to pay the non-profit back and then fine you. I would not recommend that your non-profit pay you anything for any reason if that's what you have in mind. If I've misunderstood, please forgive me. I don't doubt your goodwill in any way.
