A few years later he died in a car accident (on his way to work) at the age of 53. Since then I always step back and re-evaluate my priorities. Perhaps that is something we need to instil in our children. Money may bring security, perhaps even happiness but it certainly can not bring back time. Life is way too short.

I started a company that’s been doing great and has started opening up a lot of time, freedom, and remote flexibility. I’m currently 27. The hard part for me is now knowing what the hell to do with it all. You spend so much time dreaming and fantasizing that when it becomes a reality (or a version of it) the options are honestly a bit crippling. Im planning on traveling abroad in some capacity but the freedom has honestly become a big source of stress for me. Nobody ever talks about this shit. While I never want to go back, the days of living paycheck to paycheck were far simpler due to the financial constraints. Your days were kind of planned out for you and there is order in those limitations. It’s a weird feeling to think about. I’m exiting the “rat race” but don’t even know what to do with myself anymore. Hesitant to complain because I know I’m super fortunate but I’m totally lost… hard to find advice or mentors because most people around me are still deep into the rat race and are living the more traditional American life. The grass is always greener on the other side.

Four years ago I retired and sold everything I owned, and now I live in a tiny jeep Cherokee exploring the US. I have learned that money. and expensive toys will not make you happy. I have learned not to be a slave to your junk and too much comfort is dangerous. I am now stress-free, and the happiest I have ever been.
But he is still working all the time though. It may be that he is now a youtuber but he is still not taking the time off and living everyday in leisure. That, unfortunately is the reality of life. Unless you want to be a burden on someone else the belief that you can play your way through life is a fallacy. And its true that thr people who ask those type of questions have the money and have sacrificed a lot to get it.
My mom was always working and sleeping while my dad tried his best to find time to spend time my sister and I. He would always take us to trips like Mexico, Las Vegas and Disneyland. When I look back at my pictures when I was a child, it was always my sister, my dad, and I but never my mom. When he passed away last year I have pictures and memories of him that I can cherish. My mom is growing old and has just realized that life is more than just about working for money. There has to be a healthy balance between working and living life.

The part were you told the college student, "did you know that I also was in introvert and just went for it.." this response has little meaning in itself, however made a huge impact on that guy. Impacting others, is priceless and you never know who you might be able to.
All I could think off though is that one can not use willpower to change from an introvert to extrovert, it is a biological physical trait. It annoyed me when a coworker told me he used to he introverted like me. He was wrong, he was just a shy extrovert and now his shyness is gone.
Great video! Yes, so I was burned out from work about 2 years ago. My back actually went out and I was out of work for one month. I went back to work after the month off, but told my manager that I needed to go down on my work hours and she thankfully said yes. So, now I make less money, but I decreased my expenses quite a bit. Found a cheaper place to rent, no more eating out and no more spending money on clothes. And I am soooooo much more happier now! It’s all about balance and finding what is right for you.
My ex needs to see this video! He became his career - and had an Ego to match and dumped me to pursue it because his parents indoctrinated into him that status and money is what makes you a man! He will end up lonely and alone, trust me. I, on the other hand, make money work for me - bought my first house at 19, worked like a Trojan and paid the mortgage off when I was 34 and then my money was mine to do as I liked. I live a very humble life because I never try (or feel the need) to impress other people: my car is 23 years old, I buy my clothes from thrift shops and don’t fill my house or life with clutter. But my Aunt summed (British) people up years ago: she said “They spend money they haven’t got, to buy things they don’t need, to impress people they don’t like”. Think about it ……

Your HEALTH and TIME means way more than Money. Both of these can't be purchased no matter how much money you have. Enjoy your one life while you have a chance with no matter how little money you have. When you get older, that brand new car you purchased in the 90s will mean nothing when you don't have your health or have time to really do what you actually always wanted to do and put it off to make money. You can't take it with you, NOTHING.

Despite growing up in a Chinese household where I was considered a failure and black sheep for not adhering to traditional expectations, I have learned a lot about what I truly want from money in my 30 years of life. My family may not be aware, but I have achieved the standard American dream by purchasing a house and cars and serving in the military. I was born in Hong Kong, immigrated to the US, and have had the opportunity to explore different parts of the world. I have also made mistakes, such as buying and selling houses and losing hard-earned money, but I have learned valuable lessons from those experiences. As many mentioned in the video, money provides a sense of security, which is important to me. I desire to earn more money so that I can provide meaningful experiences for my children and donate to public school teachers. This would give my money a purpose and fulfill a dream of mine.

My grandfather had a little wall-mounted piece of metal that displayed a saying and I have memories of this at 6 or 7 years old. It read, “ money, can’t buy happiness, but it makes misery more enjoyable.” As I got older, and came to understand it’s meeting, I always disagreed with why the word “misery” was in there.
I was born poor and became rich. How you pursue money and how much you need is directly related to how hard it is to get. When I was young I worked 10 to 12 hours days to get out of poverty. Things became much easier for me and today I still chase money. Thing is I work 2 to 6 hours a day and make more per year than I ever have. So if it takes all your time (Life) to get more than you need it's not worth it. But if you can make tons of money and really not try that hard you should if it is only to help those around you.
When I got married at 18 I thought I checked all the boxes. 10 years later it turned very dark and he made sure he took everything even if it wasn't legal. I had no protection and turned to God. This isn't about religion but recognizing a Higher Power that gives our life a Flow. My point is, that by default I had to make a life with almost NO resources. And since that time "opportunities" have flowed into my life. I'm now living the life that I wished for as a kid in the city that I love. The neighborhood is very supportive. Everything I need is a 15 min walk, or there is a bus or a car rental down the street. I can't afford a car. My pace of life is so chill and I'm now doing the art that I always told myself I'd do when life slowed down. The art is for my Spirit. But I also live in the #2 art market so maybe God has more plans for me.??

I really resonated with the person who said “if you work 24 hours a day how will you spend the money.” Like at some point you’re going to not be able to buy back all that lack of fulfilment. Even all the pleasures can’t make up for it. I personally think about ratios and percentages instead of dollar amounts so that it doesn’t change with inflation. I loved how you said we should be more reflective on what we want so we don’t succumb to lifestyle inflation. But personally, I don’t really care about proving myself to others through a big house or something. I like material possessions but I like their appearance or function for myself. The idea of spending all my money to get a big suburb house instead of traveling and enjoying my job feels like death.

I learned a hard way to ask myself how much money I really need and don’t forget to enjoy life and loved ones along the way. Also I was raised in Bkk and entirely understood the Asian culture to sustain or always boost your social status. It could be good and really bad. For me, it was too much pressure, I only knew one word “money” growing up. I went to one of the best universities in Thailand. So what, I later learned to focus on me, myself, not always to please others. I moved to the western world prioritizing myself, my thoughts . IMO people here or at least people around me are not materialism. They say what they mean for the most part. I live and learn everyday.
I think as time goes on, I'm realizing more and more that time ITSELF is the true value to me. Most of us don't make passive income, and trade our time for money. So I believe, in order to really be happier, make what you can whenever you offer your time for money. BUT.... ENJOY the time after that!!!! Be financially responsible of course, but spend some time doing whatever YOU like to. Rather it be with friends, family, on a hobby, etc. If you work and do not much else, money becomes the only thing in sight and it can be troubling. Especially if it feels like you're getting nowhere. Even rich people stress over money. Along with other things too. Work for money. Spend your time for your life fulfillment. Whatever it is. Simply put, enjoy as much time as possible.

The careers that provided enough income to provide what we wanted for our family were, at times, quite stressful. But, yes, it was worth it. We are both retired now. Retirement is better than working, but you will be able to retire only if you work hard and live below your means during your working years. That’s just how it works.

I'm Colombian living in the US most of my life, also lived in Spain and this video made me look back and think about motive that sometime is all about taking that risk but more important what is my end goal at the end of the day.

I find it sad that money is the number one goal/objective (that is the percentage you show that confirms it) in the US/Canada. I am 59 y/o, I lived in Canada (Montreal) almost 40 years ago for a couple of years and worked in a UK/US company during more than 20 years, it has always been that way. I have lost family and friends during my life (like everyone), and I can definitely affirm that what are the most important things in life, are your family and friends. Do not miss your family life, if you have kids, don't miss their growing ages, don't miss anything that, for sure, you will regret not to having lived when it will be too late, kids are growing fast, parents are dying, friends unfortunately as well and one day it will be your turn, but until then, enjoy your social and family life and don't lose it running after material stuff thinking that money is a security or will help you find happiness, that is untrue, it is first and foremost a prison that is preventing you to live fully your life on this planet. I have missed too much of my social and family life and I do regret it, so much, unfortunately it will never come back, never.

I agree with the lady that money is 'an enabler'. Not everyone hopes to earn money with the goal to 'impress people we don't like by owning things we don't need'. But it does enable us to travel, provide more options for our children's education and hopefully, retire with enough funds so that we will not burden our loved ones.

We are biologically wired to seek more. To never settle. This is how humankind progressed / and still progresses. We start in a small village , we get bored, we move to a bigger city.. earn more. Then maybe move to another country all together. Always seeking that "better" life. Also, due to internet, we now no longer compare with only our small local/geographical community. We compare with the whole world in these global leaderboards. Striving to compete and go higher and higher .. always feeling under-achieved. Such is human nature that it always had its eyes up, towards the stars. It is but the trade-off / sacrifice we made when we became intelligent species. We traded the simple life for a meaningful life (though, the meaning is in the heart of the beholder, not in the society)

My father had taught me a very valuable lesson in life when it comes to money. For some, the advice may not be great but for me it was like the energy, life, Gods, Goddesses, money conspired me to hear it because i was side tracking in life. For me, as long as all the bills are paid and I can save at least 10% of my salary each month 😮 regardless of your employment, pursuing money is fine but you must enjoy what you do, otherwise your mental health will give you a rude awakening 😢 it’s pointless setting a target like after making £1m, I’ll be happy - it doesn’t work like that. You have to be happy in the present as the future is only a concept, an abstraction 🙏
When I realized making money is not something fancy at all, it is just a game. Either you are really good at playing this game or you suffer from it. After that, I made a comprehensive caculation about the amount of money I need for having a good life. I started to focus on the game and played harder and smarter to get out of the rat race. Life is really great, and I hope we all could find the balance between money and life.
i think what the therapist said was really insightful: money is buying you freedom, it’s not a prison. I think what she meant is most people get trapped by money- it becomes a prison. There’s actually a few studies that shows the more materialistic you are the more dissatisfied with life you become. it’s a vicious cycle because people tend to think, oh I just need more without realizing needing more is what’s ruining their lives
This is a great video...i found myself getting lost in the "I'll be happy if I get to this amount of money". Yes I want save to get to an X amount of money in my "emergency funds"...but I'm going to enjoy myself and live within my means. I'll try to always live within my means and not get caught up in "tying to impress people"..nobody gives a fuck about me, why should I try to impress people with material things. Enjoy life and be comfortable in my skin.
I have all the 5 Cs 😅and thankfully work isn't the most important thing in my life. Even though I grew up very poor, I still understood the value of friends, family and hobbies. What's the point of working so much, if you can't even enjoy life.
It's all about work until your 40. If you don't make money before you're in your 40s, you will struggle from that point on. I worked my ass of till last year and I am now retired (I am 42, almost 43). I now have a passive income and I don't need more than I have right now. So I'm just chilling with my family.
I think everyone's story and relationship to money and work is really different. I personally have seen how, working and solely chasing that money, burning yourself out, affects your relationships of the people around you. That may be why I am so adverse to this culture in Singapore. Some may say I don't work hard enough, but I truly believe that I am working enough. I am trying my best and I can somewhat live with it. Sure, without money you're miserable. But I also think, without that work-life balance, you're going to be especially miserable.
Relax! You aren’t meant to have it right away. It comes as you learn. Money that comes quickly is lost quickly. These are your best years. You can’t get them back. Keep working but don’t stop living! Balance. Everything in balance. Example: who really needs a car in Singapore? I am curious. And why?

After covid our family faced huge financial problems and at that times all my dad side and mom side relatives started taunting us and saying alot of bad words to my father and mother and charged us interest on that money which they given us, and also my friends denied me for money they didn't say directly no ,but they said we invested all our money or we give all our money to our parents, and at the same time I was graduated and couldn't able to find a job, i was rejected in so many interviews i asked my friends to help me and they always said that we forwarded your CV to HR or there is no vacancy , i'm 24 today jobless and our family still fighting to come out of debt and all this things which happened with us taught us that money is important and world is cruel so keep working hard or fighting and never depend on anyone, money is the solution to all your problems 💯

I made quite a lot of money after running a business for 10 years. I bought stuff and in the end it made me miserable because i became a prisoner of my own belongings and my worries over how not to squander what I had left of my money. I got what I wanted and it made me miserable.

I started a company that’s been doing great and has started opening up a lot of time, freedom, and remote flexibility. I’m currently 27. The hard part for me is now knowing what the hell to do with it all. You spend so much time dreaming and fantasizing that when it becomes a reality (or a version of it) the options are honestly a bit crippling.
Im planning on traveling abroad in some capacity but the freedom has honestly become a big source of stress for me. Nobody ever talks about this shit. While I never want to go back, the days of living paycheck to paycheck were far simpler due to the financial constraints. Your days were kind of planned out for you and there is order in those limitations. It’s a weird feeling to think about.
I’m exiting the “rat race” but don’t even know what to do with myself anymore. Hesitant to complain because I know I’m super fortunate but I’m totally lost… hard to find advice or mentors because most people around me are still deep into the rat race and are living the more traditional American life.

Four years ago I retired and sold everything I owned, and now I live in a tiny jeep Cherokee exploring the US. I have learned that money. and expensive toys will not make you happy. I have learned not to be a slave to your junk and too much comfort is dangerous. I am now stress-free, and the happiest I have ever been.

Unless you want to be a burden on someone else the belief that you can play your way through life is a fallacy. And its true that thr people who ask those type of questions have the money and have sacrificed a lot to get it.
My mom was always working and sleeping while my dad tried his best to find time to spend time my sister and I. He would always take us to trips like Mexico, Las Vegas and Disneyland. When I look back at my pictures when I was a child, it was always my sister, my dad, and I but never my mom. When he passed away last year I have pictures and memories of him that I can cherish. My mom is growing old and has just realized that life is more than just about working for money. There has to be a healthy balance between working and living life.

The part were you told the college student, "did you know that I also was in introvert and just went for it.." this response has little meaning in itself, however made a huge impact on that guy. Impacting others, is priceless and you never know who you might be able to.
All I could think off though is that one can not use willpower to change from an introvert to extrovert, it is a biological physical trait. It annoyed me when a coworker told me he used to he introverted like me. He was wrong, he was just a shy extrovert and now his shyness is gone.
Great video! Yes, so I was burned out from work about 2 years ago. My back actually went out and I was out of work for one month. I went back to work after the month off, but told my manager that I needed to go down on my work hours and she thankfully said yes. So, now I make less money, but I decreased my expenses quite a bit. Found a cheaper place to rent, no more eating out and no more spending money on clothes. And I am soooooo much more happier now! It’s all about balance and finding what is right for you.

My ex needs to see this video! He became his career - and had an Ego to match and dumped me to pursue it because his parents indoctrinated into him that status and money is what makes you a man! He will end up lonely and alone, trust me. I, on the other hand, make money work for me - bought my first house at 19, worked like a Trojan and paid the mortgage off when I was 34 and then my money was mine to do as I liked. I live a very humble life because I never try (or feel the need) to impress other people: my car is 23 years old, I buy my clothes from thrift shops and don’t fill my house or life with clutter. But my Aunt summed (British) people up years ago: she said “They spend money they haven’t got, to buy things they don’t need, to impress people they don’t like”. Think about it ……

When you get older, that brand new car you purchased in the 90s will mean nothing when you don't have your health or have time to really do what you actually always wanted to do and put it off to make money. You can't take it with you, NOTHING.

Despite growing up in a Chinese household where I was considered a failure and black sheep for not adhering to traditional expectations, I have learned a lot about what I truly want from money in my 30 years of life. My family may not be aware, but I have achieved the standard American dream by purchasing a house and cars and serving in the military. I was born in Hong Kong, immigrated to the US, and have had the opportunity to explore different parts of the world. I have also made mistakes, such as buying and selling houses and losing hard-earned money, but I have learned valuable lessons from those experiences.
As many mentioned in the video, money provides a sense of security, which is important to me. I desire to earn more money so that I can provide meaningful experiences for my children and donate to public school teachers. This would give my money a purpose and fulfill a dream of mine.

You interview people in one of the most expensive country to live in. Money is hugely important there. A lot of dreams and passion has been sacrificed which create unhappiness overtime. A lot are not truly happy there but what choice do they have when everything is so expensive..
I was very fortunate to have traveled the world while I still still working . Money is only a tool it gives you options . Your health, good family and good friends #1 money buys me security and experiences . Most important thing is that my healthcare knowledge helps people that gives me purpose. At the end you can’t take it with so live a good life .

My grandfather had a little wall-mounted piece of metal that displayed a saying and I have memories of this at 6 or 7 years old. It read, “ money, can’t buy happiness, but it makes misery more enjoyable.” As I got older, and came to understand it’s meeting, I always disagreed with why the word “misery” was in there.
I was born poor and became rich. How you pursue money and how much you need is directly related to how hard it is to get. When I was young I worked 10 to 12 hours days to get out of poverty.
Things became much easier for me and today I still chase money. Thing is I work 2 to 6 hours a day and make more per year than I ever have. So if it takes all your time (Life) to get more than you need it's not worth it. But if you can make tons of money and really not try that hard you should if it is only to help those around you.
When I got married at 18 I thought I checked all the boxes. 10 years later it turned very dark and he made sure he took everything even if it wasn't legal. I had no protection and turned to God. This isn't about religion but recognizing a Higher Power that gives our life a Flow. My point is, that by default I had to make a life with almost NO resources.
And since that time "opportunities" have flowed into my life. I'm now living the life that I wished for as a kid in the city that I love. The neighborhood is very supportive. Everything I need is a 15 min walk, or there is a bus or a car rental down the street. I can't afford a car. My pace of life is so chill and I'm now doing the art that I always told myself I'd do when life slowed down. The art is for my Spirit. But I also live in the #2 art market so maybe God has more plans for me.??

I really resonated with the person who said “if you work 24 hours a day how will you spend the money.” Like at some point you’re going to not be able to buy back all that lack of fulfilment. Even all the pleasures can’t make up for it.
I personally think about ratios and percentages instead of dollar amounts so that it doesn’t change with inflation. I loved how you said we should be more reflective on what we want so we don’t succumb to lifestyle inflation. But personally, I don’t really care about proving myself to others through a big house or something. I like material possessions but I like their appearance or function for myself. The idea of spending all my money to get a big suburb house instead of traveling and enjoying my job feels like death.

I learned a hard way to ask myself how much money I really need and don’t forget to enjoy life and loved ones along the way. Also I was raised in Bkk and entirely understood the Asian culture to sustain or always boost your social status. It could be good and really bad. For me, it was too much pressure, I only knew one word “money” growing up. I went to one of the best universities in Thailand. So what, I later learned to focus on me, myself, not always to please others. I moved to the western world prioritizing myself, my thoughts . IMO people here or at least people around me are not materialism. They say what they mean for the most part. I live and learn everyday.
I think as time goes on, I'm realizing more and more that time ITSELF is the true value to me. Most of us don't make passive income, and trade our time for money. So I believe, in order to really be happier, make what you can whenever you offer your time for money. BUT....
ENJOY the time after that!!!! Be financially responsible of course, but spend some time doing whatever YOU like to. Rather it be with friends, family, on a hobby, etc.
If you work and do not much else, money becomes the only thing in sight and it can be troubling. Especially if it feels like you're getting nowhere.
Even rich people stress over money. Along with other things too. Work for money. Spend your time for your life fulfillment. Whatever it is. Simply put, enjoy as much time as possible.

The careers that provided enough income to provide what we wanted for our family were, at times, quite stressful. But, yes, it was worth it. We are both retired now. Retirement is better than working, but you will be able to retire only if you work hard and live below your means during your working years. That’s just how it works.

Looking at different cultures and seeing their point of view regarding money is cool and a reflection of my current environment. I'm Colombian living in the US most of my life, also lived in Spain and this video made me look back and think about motive that sometime is all about taking that risk but more important what is my end goal at the end of the day.
Money undoubtedly serves as a necessary tool for survival in today's world. It provides security, meets our basic needs, and opens doors to opportunities. However, the correlation between money and long-term happiness is complex. While financial resources are essential for survival, true and lasting happiness stems from experiences, relationships, personal growth, and a sense of purpose. Striking a balance between financial stability and pursuing a meaningful life is key to finding genuine fulfillment. IMHO money does not bring happiness. However it is needed for survival.
I find it sad that money is the number one goal/objective (that is the percentage you show that confirms it) in the US/Canada. I am 59 y/o, I lived in Canada (Montreal) almost 40 years ago for a couple of years and worked in a UK/US company during more than 20 years, it has always been that way. I have lost family and friends during my life (like everyone), and I can definitely affirm that what are the most important things in life, are your family and friends. Do not miss your family life, if you have kids, don't miss their growing ages, don't miss anything that, for sure, you will regret not to having lived when it will be too late, kids are growing fast, parents are dying, friends unfortunately as well and one day it will be your turn, but until then, enjoy your social and family life and don't lose it running after material stuff thinking that money is a security or will help you find happiness, that is untrue, it is first and foremost a prison that is preventing you to live fully your life on this planet. I have missed too much of my social and family life and I do regret it, so much, unfortunately it will never come back, never.

I agree with the lady that money is 'an enabler'. Not everyone hopes to earn money with the goal to 'impress people we don't like by owning things we don't need'.
But it does enable us to travel, provide more options for our children's education and hopefully, retire with enough funds so that we will not burden our loved ones.

We are biologically wired to seek more. To never settle. This is how humankind progressed / and still progresses.
We start in a small village , we get bored, we move to a bigger city.. earn more. Then maybe move to another country all together. Always seeking that "better" life.
Also, due to internet, we now no longer compare with only our small local/geographical community. We compare with the whole world in these global leaderboards. Striving to compete and go higher and higher .. always feeling under-achieved. Such is human nature that it always had its eyes up, towards the stars.
It is but the trade-off / sacrifice we made when we became intelligent species. We traded the simple life for a meaningful life (though, the meaning is in the heart of the beholder, not in the society)
We can achieve even when we chose balance in all our aspects in our life.

My father had taught me a very valuable lesson in life when it comes to money. For some, the advice may not be great but for me it was like the energy, life, Gods, Goddesses, money conspired me to hear it because i was side tracking in life. I lose the drive, the moivation in life.

Your videos are so insightful. It’s a good question to ask - how much money do you need? For me, as long as all the bills are paid and I can save at least 10% of my salary each month 😮 regardless of your employment, pursuing money is fine but you must enjoy what you do, otherwise your mental health will give you a rude awakening 😢 it’s pointless setting a target like after making £1m, I’ll be happy - it doesn’t work like that. You have to be happy in the present as the future is only a concept, an abstraction 🙏
When I realized making money is not something fancy at all, it is just a game. Either you are really good at playing this game or you suffer from it. After that, I made a comprehensive caculation about the amount of money I need for having a good life. I started to focus on the game and played harder and smarter to get out of the rat race. Life is really great, and I hope we all could find the balance between money and life.
i think what the therapist said was really insightful: money is buying you freedom, it’s not a prison. I think what she meant is most people get trapped by money- it becomes a prison. There’s actually a few studies that shows the more materialistic you are the more dissatisfied with life you become. it’s a vicious cycle because people tend to think, oh I just need more without realizing needing more is what’s ruining their lives
This is a great video...i found myself getting lost in the "I'll be happy if I get to this amount of money". Yes I want save to get to an X amount of money in my "emergency funds"...but I'm going to enjoy myself and live within my means. I'll try to always live within my means and not get caught up in "tying to impress people"..nobody gives a fuck about me, why should I try to impress people with material things. Enjoy life and be comfortable in my skin.
I have all the 5 Cs 😅and thankfully work isn't the most important thing in my life. Even though I grew up very poor, I still understood the value of friends, family and hobbies. What's the point of working so much, if you can't even enjoy life.
It's all about work until your 40. If you don't make money before you're in your 40s, you will struggle from that point on. I worked my ass of till last year and I am now retired (I am 42, almost 43). I now have a passive income and I don't need more than I have right now. So I'm just chilling with my family.

I think everyone's story and relationship to money and work is really different. I personally have seen how, working and solely chasing that money, burning yourself out, affects your relationships of the people around you. That may be why I am so adverse to this culture in Singapore. Some may say I don't work hard enough, but I truly believe that I am working enough. I am trying my best and I can somewhat live with it. Sure, without money you're miserable. But I also think, without that work-life balance, you're going to be especially miserable.

After covid our family faced huge financial problems and at that times all my dad side and mom side relatives started taunting us and saying alot of bad words to my father and mother and charged us interest on that money which they given us, and also my friends denied me for money they didn't say directly no ,but they said we invested all our money or we give all our money to our parents, and at the same time I was graduated and couldn't able to find a job, i was rejected in so many interviews i asked my friends to help me and they always said that we forwarded your CV to HR or there is no vacancy , i'm 24 today jobless and our family still fighting to come out of debt and all this things which happened with us taught us that money is important and world is cruel so keep working hard or fighting and never depend on anyone, money is the solution to all your problems 💯

We reflect the goals of our society and our people around us. Our wants and needs also are a reflection of those. It would be good for everyone to do a complete 180 in their life and life differently just to see how our opinions and purpose of life change.
I do not compare myself to anyone because everyone experience the seasons of life at different times. My time will come and I will enjoy the things I’ve been dreaming of doing.

I made quite a lot of money after running a business for 10 years. I bought stuff and in the end it made me miserable because i became a prisoner of my own belongings and my worries over how not to squander what I had left of my money. I got what I wanted and it made me miserable.

I've been studying a business that could make me money in the long term but that caused me to spend so much time indoor and after some stuff happened irl i even cut contact with friends people i know and i even started to not talk to anyone... just focusing on the money.. and i started getting depressed losing interest to even continue this path not enjoying my journey anymore i lost the feeling to how to even be happy i even started to think do i even know what happiness is...
