    Safest approach is to eat healthily, avoid sugar, avoid stress, exercise, avoid alcohol, smoking, and avoid taking unnecessary risks. Once you become ill, there will be unpleasant consequences. This is the remedy for more or less all illnesses. Avoid the hospital as much as possible. If you imagine illness only affects others, you are probably wrong. The health statistics are dreadful and getting mostly worse.

It may have been the same or 1msv higher with contrast Other factors are protocol,body mass and year and model of the machine It takes on average 10 years for the DNA damage to show up I wouldn't get anymore at your age For soft tissue analysis MRI technology is far more accurate for high resolution imaging

      You shouldn’t worry as much about radiation as you should about the contrast dye. This dye and not the radiation really did a lot of damage to me. It’s super toxic, especially for kidneys. For me besides kidneys it really affected my eyes, eye glands and salivary glands. But every one is different.

    I wonder if I’m being a hypochondriac but I seriously am so mad at myself for being so stupid. I broke my pinky finger, the base of my proximal phalanx about a year and a half ago, and unfortunately it healed with a malunion, I should’ve just let it go, but I’m a guitar player and I was considering doing osteotomy for it. I went to several different surgeons and got probably maybe 7 to 8 different x-rays over the course of the year, I also got a CT scan recently on my hand as well, I have been reading a lot about how I can damage the DNA, I can’t really explain it, but before my hand felt stupid and now it feels retarded. I feel like my hand is so weak, I just tried playing the guitar and maybe it’s partly muscle memory but I feel like I basically nuked my hand and destroyed it. My hand CT was a high 4.18 mGy and 101 DLP. I also got a MRI to even though they said that’s non ionizing. But I’m sure there is still risk. Which is according to research about a year and a half background radiation. The problem is they don’t tell crap about that as you’re going into appointment. Wish they did. Cause I read it can damage your dna and it’s not like after a year and a half it’s back to good. It stays with you forever. This is the most covered up conspiracy of our generation. Withholding the risks of radiation â˜ąïž in our lives.

    • @owencampbell5660
      @owencampbell5660 Pƙed 11 měsĂci

      I feel like I should reply to this comment as its clearly affecting your life negatively. Recently ive done tons of research into X-Rays and ionizing radiation to try and calculate the dose which would cause cancer or any other health risks. From what I ve learnt from French and American sources there is no risk and I assume what is happening to your hand is either something to do with the bone or a placebo effect. The US government allows medical personnel to be exposed to larger amounts of radiation than the general public and the total dose they can be exposed to is the equivalent of around 15000 chest scans in a year. It is also worth noting that the lungs are more vulnerable to X rays than bones and skin are. If the scans were solely of your hand and not your organs that risk is extremely minimal. That being said I hope you are now doing well and your hand is healed, the sensation you are experienced is certainly not due to the radiation.
