- Today AD is welcomed to Los Angeles by superstar couple Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo for a tour of their Pacific Palisades ranch house. “We didn’t want a palatial McMansion. That’s just not who we are,” insists the Maroon 5 frontman who, with his supermodel wife, tapped Clements Design to conjure their vision of a high-design, low-pretension family oasis. “We were attracted to this place because it felt homey." says Behati. "You could tell that kids had lived here before."

This is officially my favorite musician/singer/super model’s home. It is a home not a ridiculous sized mansion full of rooms that are never used. I loved that they bought and had this designed thinking of their kids. That’s what family is all about. Excellent video.

Exactly! Ever since I first saw this video last year, it bothered me so much!! I wasn't surprised when I heard the recent news. He's a narcissist (his ego was probably very hurt in the past): the man has a special shrine for his prizes and HIS WATER!! Also he gave her the rhino picture as a gift but for some reason it hangs in HIS studio! Then it's almost all about HIS spaces... And when they get to her closet, she says she likes to hang out there alone.... it's so sad.... I feel it is their signature style and it was quite evident in Kendal Jenner's house as well. Also all the furnitures look super comfortable and cosy, steering away for just instagram/pintrest worthy pieces.
Finally, a rich person's house that looks modest and lived in. There's nothing ostentatious about this, nothing gilded or wasteful. Kudos to Adam and Behati.

I mean its obvious they are insanely rich, but they seem pretty grounded, at least as much as they can be. Love the practicality of their home, its not extra just to be extra, the decor has some much personal meaning which would make touring their home a real treat. One of the best homes, not the craziest or fanciest but the most homey.

@@kbanghart I cannot tell whether you were being sarcastic or not. However, there are plenty of people which or not, who buy pieces of furniture that's not intended to be used. Just decor. And most of the time the pieces are not functional. So again, onlive how livable this home feels.
Fun fact: One summer I went to LA to visit my auntie whom I never met and she wanted to show me around. Crazy because I live in SD and never been to LA...anyway we were driving through the Hills and I saw him 😲 he smiled 😊 at me and my auntie because he knew we recognized him. Best thing about my trip!

HUGE compliments on having opposed sofas of the same style in the living room. That symmetry is SO POWERFUL, and pleasing, yet so few people understand this fact, let alone execute their designs this way.
More compliments on the deep cushions on those sofas --- so few people understand that deep cushions are critical for sofa comfort, because it allows you to sprawl, or lie down, or have 2 people lie down together.

Wow this was actually really cool to see. It was a bit weird to have him advertise certain artists and blur out the other art that didn't want to promote itself, but i guess it came off as authentic as a video like this possibly could. Interesting to see how other people live. The coolest part was seeing Streefighter on an arcade and the random dirt on the shoe!

This is a couple that feels comfortable in their own skin & wealth. They don't have to show off their wealth by buying flashy stuff. They have the means to buy what they love and makes them happy. Too many people focus on the flash & brands, but it's more like they're doing it to impress other people.

It looks like home much more than any other expensive places you showed. Just the normal furniture, some objects like books and toys, nothing sterile or trying to show off the money couple have. I really like it.

I normally don't like a celebrities' homes. But, this one made into my list. Whoever decorated this home has great taste. And whoever created the layout of this house gets an A+++++++++. I feel like you can breathe and their is plenty of space to move around in------the kitchen looks fabulous.
@@jijiluciana1981 we all have different expectations. I personally would not feel the need to have a fancier home. I really treasure open space to move around. I have a big family. But , then I do not want a super big home. Finding the right balance is different for everyone.

This is the best house I've seen on AD. Nothing jarring assaulting your senses. A classy, warm space to live in.
I love how it's simple in design and elegant at the same time without so much splurge of the most rich people.
They're a sweetest married couple I've ever seen. The house is super cozy. Also, love the way they mentioned their kids.
They had to mention them, because there is no evidence that children live in that house.

I enjoyed this tour very much, this home feels warm and lived in while maintains it’s luxury. There is no doubt this is a very expensive home yet it feels ‘genuine’ and not ‘over stuffed’. I’m sure the children love having that lawn area too.

Adam deliberately kept things simple in the house to not spoil his kids with luxury. Although its super luxurious because of the spread of the Lawns and Greenery. I love Levine, his house and the way he thinks for his kids .
If any of you didn’t know, they bought this house from Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck for $32 million. It looked completely different so they easily put $10m into it. Adam Levine owns a lot of other fancier homes & his last sold for 50 mil. - quick google search. Nothing against him or his wife, but feel like everyone has the wrong idea... i mean he's w victoria's secret model, grew up in a hundred million dollar family how grounded & humble is he really? it's an image portrayal
