- Today AD is welcomed by John Legend and Chrissy Teigen to tour their loving family home in Beverly Hills. The superstar couple are no strangers to moving house as the chapters of their lives change, this time around wanting a magical space for their kids to grow up. John and Chrissy enlisted AD100 designer, Jake Arnold, working in tandem as he paired his signature earthy palette with their desire for bright pops of color. Together they designed an open space full of warmth with no shortage of spots for family time during their latest stage of life. “Every house we’ve ever had reflects the moment we were in in our lives, like chapters in a book,” Teigen avers. “We were attracted to this place because of its lightness and airiness. We love how open it feels, and how it’s so connected to the outdoors. We wanted to create something magical, especially for the kids,”

The fact that they and their designer managed to make it modern, minimalist, and aesthetically unified while also making it cozy, warm, and inviting is so impressive
facts, instead of sterile white its a candle light shade that makes the whole place feel as if it was lit by a small fire. Super cozy

I think this is one of the dreamiest houses I have ever seen. They manage to make such a big house feel homely yet modern and sleek, and the childrens' rooms are literallly the ultimate dream.
Okay that was SO sweet and adorable both the fact that Luna knew she had never heard him play that before and also that he made it up while admiring her cute face. She probably hears he father play the piano ALL the time and for her to recognize a new song is honestly incredible.

Yes! It felt so relatable when they talked about having TVs in every room. Not that I do, but I love a celeb who openly indulges in reality tv 😊 Edit: also love how they designed for function and everyday use. It wasn’t just designed to be admired.
These two genuinely love and have each others backs. You can tell by how they speak about one another and finish each other’s sentences
I have never seen such a massive house that truly feels warm and cosy. I love they're so down-to-earth and big on family. I'm really happy that Chrissy is in therapy too and that they have actually created a safe space for it. Magnificent ❤

I like how all the fabric is kid friendly and they have accepted that kids will be kids and accidents will happen. A house is to be lived in not a museum. Jake did a fabulous job.
i really love that they shouted out the interior designer during the intro. the colors and the organic forms of the decor and the space general is really inspiring. love all the touches of texture around the space as well. Jake and the team is an AMAZING job!!!
John Legend is one of the consistent, calmest, Hollywood gentleman since he started. His gentle nature always comes through in a humbling way. He never compromises on that. You can't hate him!👌👌👌

As I am currently pregnant and thinking of designing a room for my baby, I feel very emotional when I watch big celebrity parents making beyond-dream rooms and house for their children! I feel anxious as to what can the kids do more than this in their lives when they grow up to give back to SUCH WONDERFUL DEDICATED PARENTS!!

there wasn't a single thing in the house that I didn't like. amazing. only thing I may have done different is clover for the "turf" instead of artificial turf -- the kids rooms were what my childhood dreams are made of. MAGIC
Even clover is hard to grow in Southern California. I actually appreciate that they’re not using water for anything.
It’s a desert and rocks and cacti and succulents would fit more naturally if they wanted plants.
