Making something for 30 plus years doesn't make it the best. I don't believe everyone should use the same speed. Of course we need to accept that original products are often improved upon.

What is the name of the machine you call the health spa- the one that also has a message?
Its my opinion that all these machines use motions that are marketing accommodations, The touted figure 8 motion is likely only marginally better. A really effective machine would use irregular, unpredictable motions that the body couldn't accomodate.
I saw another comparison that called the non-Sun Ancon machines dangerous based on a kinesiology test. The test was done after 10 seconds of use(which makes my BS meter really peg). Hardly valid IMHO. I still would've like if JWJ had addressed the issue raised.
I'm not sure this is a fair comparison. The original Sun Anchon comes with a soft pad for the leg rests..anyone watching this would get the impression it is undesirable due to the hard plastic. I love mine. Have you yourself done any research on the claim that the patented technology/speed is optimum for increasing one's Chi? It doesn't seem like something to be taken lightly. I think in some cases, shopping for the best price is wise,but sometimes you get what you pay for :-)
