I'm glad you released this video! Since I've been to Asia many times, I've been thinking of buying a hand held bidet like I've experienced there. The other types like I've seen at some of my American friend's homes do not look as efficient as the hand held ones I've experienced in Asia.

When I filmed this, I was still getting used to my bidet, but now, I don't look back. I just miss it when I don't have it.
I live in Argentina, here almost all homes have a standalone bidet. I miss it when I go abroad, it's an essential for me.

@@grrrltraveler In public toilets its difficult to find them, but some gas stations (usually the ones on the road) might have one. It's more a home/hotel thing.
The water temp with a "bum gun" is very important, those in Thailand have a tremendous pressure and it can be a shock if you are hit fully with cold water. Wakes you up in the morning !!!!

Excellent presentation and well explained. The various bidet as you explained depends on the comfort of the user as well as the environment, the biggest concern I have with the electric bidet is it could be a safety hazard as water and electricity combined could be a bathroom hazard and electric hazard. Cost wise again it varies from different users and preferences, and the installation part is anyone could install with the help of a guide and self-help tool. Overall, this is a great explanation video and big thumbs up. Well done 😊.

Do it!!! Do one bathroom and see how you like it. Mine is the cheaper version of the Toto. It’s removable so if I didn’t like it, i can go back. Get an inexpensive one to test it out first. 😃

The cheapest water cleaning is a plastic bottle (16oz.) Warm in a microwave if needed (winter) I think in India most use a drink bottle with water. I've used this method since the 70's. After wash hands with soap. Squeaky clean after!

Never come across a bum gun (not travelled in 21 years! Researching for upcoming India trip). Got visions of people sat on toilets with a toy water gun 😂
Always a first! Indian Hotels will have bum guns- flow will be different . Public restrooms and pit stops may be squat toilets. 😉
