@@revanth2103 As much as I dislike the pc master race attitude, consoles can be just as expensive as pcs, and pcs can be as cheap or expensive as you want them to be. First off, you pay for the console, $500. Second off, you pay for the subscription service, letâs refer to Sony for this, even the cheapest one will cost you $100 a year. On top of that, within around 5 years, youâll most likely want the pro model because the regular model of the console isnât nearly as good as that one and is becoming kind of obselete, so you buy the pro model for an extra $500. Then, around 3 years later you buy the next generation of consoles for probably more money than you paid for the first one based on previous generations because the previous generation not only misses out on quite a lot of games, it will eventually just stop being supported within a few years, kind of like whatâs happening to the PS4 and Xbox One right now. All of that on top of paying $100 a year, and Sonyâs most expensive is $18 and Xboxâs most expensive is $17, and I would say Sonyâs way worse cost-wise because you need to pay for Premium ($18) if you want backwards compatibility past the PS4 and need to pay for Extra ($15) just for a game library, at least with Xbox thereâs the Series S ($300) and cheaper subscription services with Game Pass Core and regular Xbox Game Pass + PC Game Pass only being $10 (consoleâs is $1 more). Xbox does have cheaper options console wise and subscription service wise than PlayStation, but the money stills rack up.

Running with internal ssd on ps4 but only 250 gigs. So i bought a 8 TB internal drive & a chassis to run it. Cant trust external hard drives, had an iomega that died: None of my internal has died as i know of...
The PS5 Pro is rumored to have 60 RDNA 3 CUs which is equivalent to an RX 7800 XT. The 4090 has a TDP of 450 watts while both the Series X and PS5 use between 160 and 200 watts. You're delusional if you really think the PS5 Pro will come even remotely close to a 4090. Hell, it won't even touch a 6950 XT which is AMD's last gen flagship.
The Problem is thats are all rumors. For the RTX we have facts. But those SonyPonies wont accept, their defeat. even if we could show them a same Priced PC, we would defeat them.

Yes but it was not as widely adopted, this is what mark Cerny said. They really pushed for it. Unlike PS4 and Xbox one generation, it was the first time the these consoles performance was up there with the gaming PCs, the only issue was not a lot of games. But that was also due to covid.

Ps5 came out like almost 4 years ago, and there's over 2,500 games on it compared to the 3,300 the ps4 wich has been here since 2013. I don't know why people think this console is still brand new and still call it next gen when it's actually the current gen. Plus the pro version of ps4 came out 3 years after the original ps4. The point is if u are a competitive gamer buy it if u are a casual there's no need since normal ps5 will still run ps5 games normally. Ps5 pro will just give you and edge on fps or better visual, it's not a must buy.

You need to chill and spend some time alone with a rig thats got a good rtx card in it. I like my PS5, but its night and day. But its always nice to have that options.

@@dailyhubranx Doesn't sound like it. I have a PS5 and an RTX4090 PC, and PB is right, it's night and day. Both are hooked up to my 65" LG OLED C1. Also, it's been reported that the PS5 pro will have the same CPU as the current PS5, and that means the upgraded GPU will be able to render raytracing better and more polygons, but framerates will be the same. That comes from Digital Foundry.

the PS5 is based on a RTX 3060 (12gb) but its made purely for the consoel with 16GB
The Xbox one x mid-gen console refresh matched the performance of nvidias best gpu the gtx 1080 at the time of release, and this time the mid gen console refresh is going to have way more work put in to it then last gen. So at the very least its closely matching the 4090. Ppl dont understand tech n dont get how fast things progress in tech, 5090 is coming out in 3 months, 4090 is going to be old news, ppl just get there feelings hurt cus ppl are going to have significantly better stuff then them at way lower prices. I think the Rumor is based on the PS5 version of a Game will be far more optimized than a PC Port ( before patches) and the upcoming Pro will sport about 25% more powerful than the Base model and also will include a SSD and Chip set which will be boosted by another 12% so it will Load in textures and shadows better than most Graphics cards.
But even if this is the case the 4090 will still allow for 300+ FPS while PS5 is capped at 120fps.

The only way ps5 can be better than 4090 is because of price. Performance wise, the 4090 can actually go up to 8k. That thing can do 4k at way over 120fps. It's just way too powerful compared to ps5. It's better to compare ps5 to a 3050 or 3080 or something along than line but not the 3090 or 4090
@ShuiMaltov ps5 be doing 4k 60 on Top of the line graphic intensive games. The 4090 will be doing 4k 120 + on the same type of games. The ps5 pro is rumored to get stable 4k 60. That is still below the 4090 level. 4090 is more expensive, but it shows in the power. Compare the ps5 pro to more of a 3080 or 4080 . But not the 4090 or 3090

How many hours of gaming do you regularly have on your 08 TB? I imagine (this is only a hypothesis) that your catalog is a real collection therefore, from a marketing and commercial point of view 08 TB is not a standard. It's just an added luxury because it's going paperless and you have the budget that goes with it.

PS5 Pro will have RDNA3 GPU. In TFLOPS RX 7800 XT is closest to PS5 Pro GPU. 37.32 TFLOPS 7800 XT has and PS5 Pro GPU is 33.5 TFLOPS and both GPUs have same amount of compute units 60.

PS5 Pro is my first priority. I will be upgrading from PS4 Pro. I have solid gaming PC (Ryzen 9 5900x, 64GB DDR4 3600 MHZ and RTX 4070 Ti Super) GPU alone cost me more than PS5 Pro will when Sony release it. I also have Xbox Series S for game pass. It's solid little console that let me play older 360 games that I never had chance to play them because I was always playstation guy.

LoL. Talking about delusions of grandeur. You will be lucky if it is a 3090 equivalent. On top of that, itâs not going to matter when the CPU is essentially the same that is in the current machine. GPU power will not matter to games and engines that are CPU dependent. Meaning that, while the games may have better raytracing and resolutions⊠They will still be running at 30 frames per second. Granted, some that are built around the limitation⊠Will run at 60 FPS⊠But, it will require the game to be limited in some other way. Just like current machines.
Like the last mid-gen refresh⊠Itâs essentially pointless for anything other than higher resolutions. Which made sense last generation when people were upgrading TVs from 1080p to 4K. But now, people arenât upgrading⊠Therefore, the only thing that they are going to see is once again⊠Higher resolutions and better raytracing. Which Iâm sure the games that do see those boosts are going to look great. But theyâre not going to look generationally exceptional. Just a boost from essentially PCâs midrange settings to high or a mix between high and ultra. Which, depending on the price, probably wonât interest a ton of people.
Just look at the current situation. Where more than half of the PlayStation gamers are still playing on the PS4. Not seeing the need to upgrade, simply because there are only a handful of games that are taking advantage of the current hardware. Thatâs not going to get remarkably better in the next two years or so. Which is why Microsoft decided to forgo a mid-gen refresh and instead opt for an early start to next generation, with the forward looking hardware that is a true huge leap over current systems. With ARM seeing huge leaps in processing power over X86 hardware. Which is reportedly exactly what Microsoft is going for in their next system.
Along with hardware accelerated AI and raytracing, not to mention true machine learning. Not only allowing for amazing looking and playing games, but for developers to more easily and quickly develop games for the system. Not to mention, amazing physics and movie-like effects. I truly think the next generation coming up for both Sony and Microsoft is going to be mind blowing. As the advances in AI are going to create experiences that were never possible before. Being able to befriend NPCs and develop relationships with them. Real time voice recognition, and intelligent response.
Which will allow the player to deeply connect to the game world and the NPCâs in it. Which will give an emotional connection like weâve never experienced before. Imagine getting to know this NPC in the game for 100 hours of playtime and that NPC getting hit by a car or dying of a heart attack and not being there the next time you start the game. Going to their funeral. Creating connections like this that mimic those in real life. Creating these real emotions that will follow us outside of the game. Allowing players to think about these characters, as if they were human beings.
Now imagine those NPC being able to text you on your phone. You being able to have conversations with them outside of the game and then meet them at a bar inside the game after you get off work. These are the experiences that are going to envelop us in the next generation⊠where relationships like we saw in the movie HER, become reality in a way that links the game to our real lives. Creating bonds with game world characters that blur the line between reality and fiction.
Again, allowing us to actually feel real emotions for those characters and them, us. The possibilities will be endless. Allowing all of us to not just play a game, but experience it on a level we never thought would be possible. so I wouldnât get too excited for Sonyâs mid gen refresh⊠as, essentially you are getting an upgraded video card and little more. I think many people would just rather wait and get a true generational leap, where they can actually see an amazing difference before their eyes. Not only in the way they see the game, but the way they play it and experience all they have to offer. Not just slightly better visuals.
Again, we have a lot to be excited for, for the next generation of consoles⊠I think the mid gen refresh was a mistake on Sonys part. Simply because, once again⊠Most people are still fine playing their PS4 and havenât even upgraded to the base PS5 yet. Many people are going back to systems like the PS3 and the Xbox 360, simply because they get their games on the disc and they are complete⊠Without the need for patches⊠and they own them. Prices for these systems have shot through the roof, because of it.
And I truly find it fascinating. Because people seem less interested in the latest and greatest graphics and are just going back to enjoying amazing gameplay. which again, is awesome. People finding solace in these break games from past consoles. Using their imaginations to fill in the gaps, like we did back on systems like the Atari 2600. Which makes me happy. Because it is showcasing the independent studios that are creating incredible games with 10 or 20 employees that are RAA offering from studios with 1000. Showing those huge studios just how efficient their operations are. Something Iâve been saying for way too many years.
So to everybody out there, just enjoy the games. The system that you play it on, is completely irrelevant. If a game is good, game is good regardless of how it looks. Just enjoy it for what it is and forgo any expectations. Which is the best way to ever play any game. Go in completely blind, knowing nothing about it and let the games surprise you.

I went from pc to ps5. The ease of use is way more convenient. I don't have to upgrade every few years and the pc players are way more toxic. Pc is better yes but at a huge price $.

It's big for Sony for sure, but not everyone will be getting a ps5 pro. The PS4 Pro was highly capable and some of the greatest games are: Uncharted 4, The Last of Us I and II, Laura Craft, Horizon I and II, Metro Exodus, Red Dead Redemption II, Witcher III, Tales of Arise, Ghost Recon BP, Medieval Dynasty, kingdom Deliverance, Assassin Creed Odyssey, Batman: AK, Metal Gear Solid: the PP, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Detroit Become Human, Until Dawn GTA V ...Well, well! People have been saying that the ps5 was going superior to PS4, but that is not entirely true. What surprising is people are playing a certain game from the PS5 they seem to be surprise as well but the PS4 has some great games with outstanding performanceđź, the PS5 is still not perfect, but they have PS5 would have been perfect. They promised lots of things for the ps5 about half or less than that are kind of true.

Of course a Ps5 for people that don't have the money for a gaming PC is great. But a whopping $7000-$10,000 gaming PC is a thing of beauty in every way and it does: EVERYTHING! PS: Forget the RTX 4090, the RTX5090 is coming soon and no console will beat that!!!
Here are some reasons why the PS5 Pro can't be faster than a 4090.
1. It can't. Cooling solutions are not good enough.
2. If it would be faster than the 4090 the Pricetag would explode into thousands of USD
3. The PS5 alone has 10.48 TFlops (the higher the better), the RTX 4090 has 82.58 TFlops. To cool that down, the 4090 has a big CHUNCKY cooling system wich the PS5 could not provide.
And the best fact, can you guys remember as you said that the Ps4 Pro will be faster than the RTX 3090?

These console vs pc wars are seriously ridiculous. I remember the start of which is better around the release of PS2. Nothing changed for the past 20 years. Maybe the argumentation became more addle-brained. Iâve been a console gamer at first, then moved to a PC and eventually switched back to console. Iâm planning to get back to PC soon again. But everything happens interchangeably. Is there a better platform? No. Each serves a different purpose even in the case of gaming. Some games are better optimized either on console or on a pc. It was at least a case like 15 years ago. Some games only made on pc and some on console. The best solution is to choose a platform which serves better for a particular game - if you can have both a pc and console. However a PC is in the decline for the past few years due to two factors at least. One is the DRM management on majority of games and digital distribution. There is no second hand market for PC, you canât share/borrow/resale the games. For console this is still a strong market and a lot of people (like myself) like to have a physical copy of the game and actually own it not just have a right to download it. Second factor is that modern pc serves modern games. Try to install a 6-10 year old game on windows 10 or 11. Nightmare. Some will work but some will not or require a lot of workarounds that donât even guarantee proper work of a title. Console itâs just âplug and playâ. Of course new consoles donât have a lot of backwards compabilities but old games can also be streamed and emulated. Itâs just so much less hassle and simplicity of running a game you want to enjoy without infuriating yourself that it doesnât want to work.

So I actually cut out the part where I'm saying: I love PCs and I love what you can do with PCs, and I'm actually looking into investing about $2000 in a strong rig mostly for video editing and production. PS5 sill still be my Main driver for gaming. And I think PS5 plus is an amazing deal especially for someone that just buys a PS5 and for 10 dollars a month u have access to over 1000 games, you can't argue with that!

The average $2000 build today is well over double the performance of current gen consoles, and that is just going off the gpu's performance. the cpu will widen that gap even further lol. Resolution, Ray Tracing, framerate and image quality is vastly superior especially if you choose to go the Nvidia route. In fact this video is pretty low IQ in general. Most ppl who know even a sliver about hardware in general will laugh in your face comparing a gpu approaching 4x the speed of consoles to something closer to the performance of hardware that PC gamers had access to during the ps4 generation. The PS5 Pro will not be the best-selling console of all time or even outsell the base PS5. It's going to sell to the hardcore PlayStation gamers, which is maybe 10-15% of the install base. Most don't care about having the best possible performance from their gaming machine, which is why so many still haven't switched from the PS4 yet.
