I've had mine for 3 years, it just keeps running and running, never had any problems with it. I've never opened it up to remove dust. A very solid device and the best console.

I have a gaming pc and a ps5 and honestly I love both but my gaming pc is better and way more goated it can do everything and its the next big level in gaming because it can do way more than a console man it can multitask so much that a console cant do which cant really multitask cant use a console really for work related things than what a gaming pc can do you can be doing work stuff and gaming on here at the same time which just makes pc insane but ps5 still awesome bro hope u enjoy it welcome to next gen gaming my brotha if u want someday u should also get a gaming pc someday its so goated!

Congratulations make sure you use the hdmi that cane with the ps5 its hdmi 2.1 dont use the HDMI that was hooked up to ur xbox its hdmi 2.0. and make sure you get you at least a 1tb m.2 ssd i got the Samsung 980 pro 1tb with heatsink for 89.99. trust me you will need it.

You're old tv would of worked with it.....ps5 is a higher resolution from the factory....you need to manually restart it to recognize the resolution of the tv...

I finally got a PlayStation 5 the original version last year in October 22nd from Best Buy couldn't believe how heavy it was carrying out the store but when I got home from the store and when I unbox it I was so excited couldn't believe I got one and also tomorrow I am gonna get a Xbox Series X delievered to me from Fedex don't worry I got that same Xbox One S as well but mines is a white console.

I got the ps5 just to play ps4 games i didn't play😂.
The ps5 is designed to be on a stand for standing upright It has airflow that it pulls from the bottom. The original ps5 came with the stand but the new ones don't, and they are 30 bucks. Just telling you in case it ever overheats that might be the reason. They do come with these little nub things that go into the middle of the ps5 but that is only for laying it down.
