An absolute delight to see two professionals participating in such a beautiful debate. The image and essence of debates have been destroyed by cheap shows like 'The Newshour' which involves shouting, imposing views and selling views that connect with the Indian middle-class.
Shows like these should be broadcasted again and more people should see how a good debate is like.

    2. "If we dont control inflation considering the global conditions right now, once the growth picks up,inflation may become uncontrollable in future".
This is what i love about Rajan and he doesnt get carried away by the praises he get neither he gets upset by the interest rate media mefia surrounding him,he looks like an extremely practical man.Thank God we got this man as our RBI Governor.

Prannoy Roy is being too focused on pandering to popular perceptions and seems to be actively attempting to get juicy bits out of two apolitical individuals. This session would have been much more intellectually charged and enriched if it was just Rajan, Arvind and perhaps even the students. In fact, I am puzzled why a topic like 'tolerance debate' is featuring in this session. Funnily enough, the description which reads " economy - inflation, growth rates, rupee and the tolerance debate" reads almost exactly like a 'pick the odd one out' section in a high school question paper...

Despite Indian Economy being one of the best among the world economy.
