  • KTH - IBP Clinics are designed for the ease of community so that working-class people experience convenient healthcare services in the evening from 3 pm to 8 pm.
Private practice in Government hospitals doesn't mean generating revenue for the organization this is only for the sake of community facilitation, that they will be given all services under one roof by expert consultants.
Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) Peshawar has been providing tertiary health and teaching facilities to the local population in KP ever since 1976. Established over a covered area of 962,000 square feet on busy Jamrud Road, this 1202-bed hospital caters to the health requirements of over 500,000 patients a year. However, with the massive increase in urban population during the Afghan war (1978-98), its ability to serve the local population has been seriously impaired. The local population has also grown manifolds admission and treatment facilities domestically. Coupled with presence of 0.6 million Afghan refugees and their rush on this hospital, the institution seems over burdened given its present physical size, administrative human resource and financial position.
