First time in KP the child was saved from ‘Congenital Tracheoesophageal Fistula’
Dr. Sajjad Ali - Senior Registrar of Paeds Surgery Department, KTH, and his dedicated team under the supervision of their seniors have successfully completed the treatment of a one-year baby, at the start of treatment the baby was 5-days-old and now after one year the results of follow up was satisfactory. This disease mortality rate is high but due to KTH - surgery department's compassionate and caring attitude save little Abdan.
At Khyber Teaching Hospital baby’s birthday was celebrated, the purpose behind this was to celebrate the remarkable achievement of this successful surgery and after one-year of observation, the child was declared ‘fit and healthy.
