Just pure raw GOD given talent, honey that you don't see from today's so called "singers".
That was the incredible Bobby Hatfield. He was a countertenor. That means he could sing severral octaves, from baritone all the way up to notes even most sopranos can't reach. You are right. A voice like that doesn't come through practice. It is a God-given gift. This is a cover of an older song, but Bobby made it his own. No one can sing it like Bobby.
My heart just couldn't handle. This man has a voice from heaven!! Old But Gold!!!
Don't feel you have to apologize for not knowing the complete back story to all the bands/groups/singers you listen to. Most chats will be absolutely thrilled at the chance for interaction and be happy to fill in any details :)
Hi friend! I'm so happy seeing your comment. Thanks for your kind words! Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for being here it means the world to me!
Yes, Bobby has the voice of an angel, making allus women melt (my husband says he wishes he was singing that to me) Bobby's Mom was in audience making his usual stage fright go thru roof. His cute smile at end says he knows he made her proud. He was 25 yrs. old. Your smile is gorgeous, my dear! (P.s. 'knees weak' = swooning, doesn't happen much anymore!)
Thanks friend
Such a wonderful reaction, so honest and beautiful ❤️
O yes dear he bit his lip because he new he nailed it big time best live performance ever ❤
You feeling his love gal ! That’s what he does !
This is the AWESOME Bobby Hatfield! I grew up listening to him in the 60's! I'm 72 yrs old and I never tire hearing him sing this song. This is the original on the Andy Williams show in 1965. I watched this show. Love........
Beautiful reaction thank you for helping to keep bobbies spirits alive
Hi friend! I'm so happy reading your comment! Glad you enjoyed the video... Thanks for being here it means the world to me 🤗

Bobby’s Voice is so beautiful and soothing so much soul. Righteous brothers have a song called “you’ve lost that loving feeling” which was the most viewed song of the last century
Great video
Thanks
Good time.
Bobby Hatfield
Bill Medley was
The Other Singer
Great review.
Hi friend! I'm so happy seeing your comment. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for being here it means the world to me!
Your reaction was so soft and passionate just like the RB's music. Don't worry, the wobbly knees is a normal reaction. RIP Bobby🙏
Glad you enjoyed this as much I did! Thanks for being here it means the world to me!
Nice
Bobby Hatfield was incredibly gifted but ended tragically like many. His beautiful voice was captured for us to enjoy today.
Hi friend! That's so sad to know. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for being here it means the world to me!
i wish you didn't stop it so much
Classic perfection!
GOD blessed this man with this voice
Oh yes!
100 pop percent natural talent
And that is his real voice, no autotune, no gimmicks, just him and the orchestra. It was better on tv though.
So cool
Oh how I STILL swoon!!! That's what you are feeling Doll!!! Bobby Hatfield sings with pure, natural soul!!! I grew up with there guys & they're just (well words fail me!) Righteous!!! Listen to the other Brother, Bill Medely sing "Will You Love Me Tomorrow"!!! Great!! These were and are the Dynamic Duo to this day!! Check out their body if works & share, pass them on. They are a World Wide Phenomenal Duo!!! They sing great solo & even better together!! AWESOME!!!!! Keep their soulful music going!! You're sweet, I live your reaction!!! Even men are blown away by Bobby singing this song Super song done by many but Bobby does it best!!!! God bless sweet girl!!! 🎼🎵🎶🌹❤️
Alright friend I'll definitely check it out. Thanks
This was before Electronics could adjust your voice to sound how they need you to. This was REAL RAW Talent, I remember when this version came out my sisters would just
keep repeat playing it for hours. Back when men would sing with emotion to women not speak a phrase at them. But it never gets old, Thanks for the memory's.
It's been my pleasure reacting to this amazing singer! Thanks for being here it means the world to me!
Girl . . . You in love! (I hope you'll play it back, for yourself, without interruptions)
Of course I did
Yes the Righteous Bros. Bobby Hatfield sings Unchained Melody solo the other 1/2 Bill Melody is on the side. This is live sheer perfection..He has a voice from the heavens. NO ONE BEFORE HIM OR AFTER HIM WILL EVER DO IT BETTER.The duo sang solo sometimes but you have to hear Bobby's (tenor) voice with Bill Melody (baritone).they should blend but they do and it's pure magic. They were inducted into the ROCK and ROLL HALL OF FAME in 2003 unfortunately Bobby passed away a few months after. Bill Melody still sings and performs today (50 years later).
YOU YOUNG LADY HAVE JUST BEEN INTRODUCED TO MR BOBBY HATFIELD AND BLUE EYED SOUL, BOBBY HATFIELD DIED IN 2003 BUT THIS SONG HAS BEEN CAUSING PANTIES TO DROP FOR THE PAST 55 YEARS IT IS A COVER OF THE SONG , BUT NOBODY HAS EVER BEFORE OR SINCE DONE IT BETTER , BOBBY OWNS THIS SONG YOU HAVE REACTED THE SAME WAY THAT EVERY OTHER WOMAN HAS REACTED TO THIS SONG SINCE HE SANG IT
I'm so happy reading your comment. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for being here it means the world to me!
You need to take a trip down memory lane all the way back to the 60's to hear and enjoy realky great music. By the way, they were two outstanding great singers, like the gods coming down from Mount Olympus.
Alright friend I'll definitely check them out. Thanks
The Righteous brothers, Bobby Hatfield and Bill Medley (not blood brothers) were a duo in the 1960's. Bobby sang solo on "Unchained Melody," Bill on piano. They sang together on "You've Lost That Lovin Feeling." and many more. This was a live performance on the Andy Williams Show in 1965. Bobby had a cold, he was nervous as his mom was in the audience,, and yet, he gave a stellar performance! RIP Bobby Hatfield.
I had to watch this reaction twice. It was so fun
Really? Thanks
Interesting video
Thanks so much
You have such a bright white smile I have to turn the brightness down and put on my sunglasses
😂😂😂 thank you so much for your kind words!!
Nice video

OK...I've seen most of these reactions videos for Unchained Melody...you are the FIRST to express the idea of ONE MAN FIVE VOICES and interestingly you shared this idea almost right away
Hi friend! He is an incredible singer. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for being here it means the world to me!
This song was and still is beautiful takes me back to my childhood love your reaction the sixties to the eighties I think were the best years for music
Anytime I listen to this song I keep saying "Old But Gold "

Sure I will
The Righteous Brothers were dubbed "Blue-Eyed Soul". Now, after listening to this song, you know why.
Yeah
Good video
Thanks
I enjoyed your reaction. It's so cool to watch
People remember Bobby's 1965 version of "Unchained Melody" from the 1990 film "Ghost." The song was originally taken from a 1955 movie called "Unchained;" where a group of prisoners were stationed in Chino, CA under a special prison system without an unescapable fence, where families and children had weekly visits. The song and lyrics were developed for the movie and sung by a lone prisoner in the Institution. After hearing Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield sing in a local bar, A black Marine from El Toro Base in Irvine CA, shouted out to them; Yeah! "That was righteous, Brothers!" Righteous being slang for cool, great, and good.
Interesting
I like how she appreciates this tune, but she cut it twice at the worst possible time.......lol
They are two men. Bobby Hatfield did the solo on this great song. To hear the both of they try Soul and Inspiration, You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling and Rock and Roll Heaven.
Hi friend! Now it makes sense to me that the group is called righteous brothers. I'll definitely check out the other songs. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for being here it means the world to me!

HIS NAME IS MR BOBBY HATFIELD , AND HE BIT HIS LOWER LIP BECAUSE HE JUST PERFORMED SOLO WITH HIS MOM AND DAD IN THE AUDIENCE AS IF TO SAY , HOW WAS THAT MOM , DID I DO GOOD , AND HE CERTAINLY DID , YOUR REACTION , HEART RACING , KNEES GETTING WEAK IS THE TYPICAL REACTION FROM WOMAN , EVEN BACK IN MY DAY , WHEN BOBBY SANG THIS SONG IN CONCERT , BESIDES BOBBY SINGING , THE ONLY OTHER SOUND YOU HEARD WAS THE SOUND OF PANTIES HITTING THE FLOORS OF THE VENUE
😂😂😂
Let the music play!!!!
RIP Bobby Hatfield
Your reaction made me smile but u cut in wrong place lol
Someones got a crush on Bobby.... lol
No, there's 2 men. This one passed on in 2003. You've Lost That Loving Feeling has both on it. I saw this live on tv in 1965

Not sure if anyone has answered but the righteous brothers were a duo and their names are bill medley and bobby hatfield
Hi, Clevynation I want to say I love your reaction, your channel, and everything about you. You just know how to entertain your viewers and I must say this song is awesome and I would love to see more of him.
I really appreciate this
The best reaction so far
Really?!
Hi Clevynation you're such an amazing reactor with great insight and ambition. I love you and am here to stay.
Thanks so much
Great reaction
Thanks
Interesting
Yeah
This man is Bobby Hatfield. He is only one of the brothers and this is his solo performance and if you would life you can find the other songs where he sings with his partner. They are not blood relatives just partners in business.
There's 2 guys, but Bobby did this song as a solo.
Don’t you feel like he singing to you ? Well ,..all the women feel that in 1965, apparently 10 thousand babies were made when this song came out ,this is the original song , his name Bob hartfield , although you know longer with , still love you . R I P BOBBY ❤️❤️❤️
You were experiencing "swooning" Singers did that back in the day. Tom Jones is good for that & many others. Shaking, weak in the knees or legs, & dealing with the emotional flood of a voice. You & the Empress both went for the lower lip bite. Also, you will not get such a wonderful rendition from the studio version. This live version gives off so much more flair & soul.
Thanks friend!
I'm so happy reading your comment. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for being here it means the world to me!
amazing love this good job
Hi friend! I'm so happy seeing your comment. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for being here it means the world to me!

You now have a huge new fan. So beautiful!
Alright friend I'll definitely check it out. Thanks for being here it means the world to me!
Keep the good work
Thanks Boss
HI CLEVY, THE OTHER SUBSCRIBERS HAVE TOLD YOU WHO THIS MAN WAS.
BILL MEDLEY AND BOBBY HATFIELD DECIDED THAT BOBBY WOULD SING THIS SONG AS A SOLO.
IT PROVED TO BE THE CORRECT DECISION AS BOBBY HAD A MUCH GREATER VOCAL RANGE.
HE SANG THIS SONG SOFTLY, SWEETLY, SENSUALLY AND WITH PASSION AND IT WAS SOUL GRABBING.
THIS SONG IS TRULY AN ICONIC SONG AND IT WAS CHOSEN IN THE FILM "GHOST" STARRING PATRICK SWAZYE AND DEMI MOORE.
THE SONG AND FILM WERE MEANT FOR EACH OTHER
BY THE WAY, MOST GIRLS FELL 'ON LOVE ' WITH BOBBY BECAUSE HE HAD "MOVIE STAR" GOOD LOOKS AND HIS VOICE HERE WAS SO SMOOTH AND SENSUAL AND BEAUTIFUL
TAKE CARE CLEVY FROM YOUR CHRISTIAN BRO EMILIO IN ADELAIDE CITY IN AUSTRALIA - THE GREAT SOUTHLAND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND COVID FREE
Thanks friend
You are beautiful
Bobby Hatfield is the short one and Bill Medley is the Tall one
Please more of Righteous Brothers
Of course I will
Aww...sweet reaction.
The Righteous Brothers were a duo consisting of Bill Medley (who was not singing on this song), and Bobby Hatfield, who appears here. This recording of “Unchained Melody” is considered by most to be the Gold Standard and an unmitigated masterpiece of a live vocal performance.
Bobby Hatfield’s tenor voice was indeed a powerful instrument, as was his partner’s baritone.
If you are interested in hearing both boys singing, may I recommend “Soul and Inspiration.” (Be sure to listen to a live version recorded in the 1960s.).
Here’s one:

That one happens to be my favorite, and is the finest “please take me back” begging song ever put on tape. NO WOMAN can resist it.
There are many other songs from them that you should hear, all easily found here on CZcams.
Enjoy!
Hi friend! This is so informative. I'll definitely check out more! Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for being here it means the world to me!

bobby hatfiled
best is last 2 seconds no heavy breathing just a little smile
Hi friend! He is phenomenal. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for being here it means the world to me!
Please more reaction from this guy
I will
The song was written for a 1955 B (or C!) -movie called 'Unchained' about a prison break. Think of the singer as a guy in jail wanting to get home to his woman and the song makes sense.
This is a longer version of the same clip from 'The Andy Williams Show' which includes Andy's introduction and chat with BOTH Righteous Brothers (who are not REAL brothers, by the way), and explains why Bobby (Hatfield) sings this on his own.
czcams.com/video/FZZqf3AVJbE/video.html
Hi friend! Now i understand the song better. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for being here it means the world to me!

He is a phenomenal singer

Such a beautiful reaction, would you do a Elvis reaction to Trying to get to you from the 68 comeback special. I promise you will love it but be careful he will steal your heart
Hi friend! Another heart thief? 😂 My God what have I gotten myself into. At this rate I'll need more than one heart to survive on this channel. I'll definitely check it out. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for being here it means the world to me!
@@ClevyReacts thank you so much, I promise you will love it
Bobby Hatfield.
Hi, hey have you played Bridge over trouble water, by Elvis?
Hi friend! No I haven't. I'll definitely check it out. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for being here it means the world to me!
2 guys but only one performed the song
That is what he does to women
This song is so poignant and passionate. Knowing the context makes it even more poignant. The context is about a prisoner who misses his wife's touch and love and is in great anxiety over whether time, which can do so much, has eroded her love for him (Are you still mine? I'll be coming home, wait for me, wait for me). The song is from a 1950s movie, Unchained, about this man (he sings it in the movie).
