- This video has all the locations of every heart piece in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. Read the description for more in-depth information.
Heart Piece #1 (0:00):
Found in Mabe Village. Cut down a bush and fall down the well to get this first heart piece.
Heart Piece #2 (0:17):
Fisherman in Mabe Village. Do some fishing and reel in the big fish near Link to get this heart piece.
Heart Piece #3 (1:22):
Found in Koholint Prairie. Pretty much unmissable. Use your Roc's Feather to nab this one.
Heart Piece #4 (1:34):
Found in Mysterious Woods. Use the Power Bracelet to lift up the skull blocking this heart piece.
Heart Piece #5 (1:57):
Found in Graveyard. Near the lone grave is a pair of stairs that leads into a cave. Jump the gaps and move a rock to be able to jump to this heart piece.
Heart Piece #6 (2:21):
Found in Ukuku Prairie. After you beat Key Cavern, use the Pegasus Boots to destroy the rocks and then bomb a wall near the top of this cave to find this heart piece.
Heart Piece #7 (2:51):
Found in Yarna Desert. Walk into the cave or fall down the quicksand to end up in the room right below the heart piece that is behind another bombable wall.
Heart Piece #8 (3:14):
Found under Tal Tal Heights. At the bottom of the heights is a cave full of water. Under water where you would normally fall from an area up above is a hidden heart piece.
Heart Piece #9 (3:44):
Found near Kanalet Castle. Much like the previous heart piece, this one is under water, but takes fooooorever to get to. Keep swimming and dive under a very random spot for this heart piece.
Heart Piece #10 (4:22):
Found in Animal Village. After you beat Catfish's Maw, head back to Animal Village to this bombable cave. Jump the gaps and then use the Bow & Arrow + Bomb combination to destroy the cracked boulders across the chasm and then use the Hookshot to get across to this heart piece.
Heart Piece #11 (4:53):
Found in Tal Tal Mountains. Cross the wooden bridge towards a pair of stairs that leads into a cave. Bomb a wall down below and then head one screen over for this heart piece that taunted us a long time ago.
Heart Piece #12 (5:31):
Found in Turtle Rock. After you progress enough into this dungeon, a pair of stairs will lead back to the outside world with the final heart piece resting on top of a small mountain. - Hry
a perfect example of a flawed masterpiece. a beautiful story and world and engaging gameplay only brought down by the occasional cryptic puzzle or no clues what to do next along with mostly subpar bosses. im happy that this game is finally getting recognition for all it is.
For being the first of its kind I think it was pretty great, especially compared to what else was out on gameboy at the time. The oracle games also improved on the formula and did away with most of the flaws in my opinion.
The annoying text boxes when you collect specific items or accidentally run into a stone you can carry/ram into also brings it down a notch imo.
@noizu0311 this was the first zelda game i had and played as a kid no clue what to do when i was a kid i used to like just walking around and killing enemies never beat it but i like this game a lot
This was my first Zelda Game i ever had i am glad i at least spent 20 year's looking before giving in and watching a guide never would of checked the castle moat and dived there of all place's Thanks
I like the no bullshit videos you make. Straight to the point.
Some of those pieces of heart were in super secret places, some of those bombable Walls didn't even have cracks in them so it seems like one wouldn't even know it was there at all unless they looked it up
how do tf do you activate bomb arrows, do you press the b and a buttons at the same time orrrr
edit: nvm i got it
Watching you get #5 was impressive, I had to use a bomb and the hookshot for it, really creative idea, tbh
Thank you
Thnx!, nice video :)
Also that ghost sound is such a pain in the *ss haha
Only Zelda game where I managed to get all the heart pieces
how did you find the castle mote one?
thanks
I got all in minish cap now this game I will I tried ocarina of time but the last dampe heart piece sucks
How to jump for 3° hert piace
You need to get Roc's Cape from Tail Cave to jump for that heart piece.
@@Tresonance thank you 😊
@@Tresonance A little late, but it isn’t Roc’s Cape, it’s Roc’s Feather. Roc’s Cape is in the Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap however. You probably already knew that anyway...
@@daydream5835 Whoops, you are right. Was thinking of Oracle of Seasons actually, but you are correct either way.
@@Tresonance Woah. You replied fast!
Micro-Transactions back the were buying a guide just to play these cryptic games… I mean the dungeons are fine, but the actual part of getting to it is impossible at times…
missed one
You didn't show the heart containers from the bosses.
whose going to miss those?
You said it. Those are heart containers. Not heart pieces.
These are mandatory pickups in the gb versions
Thank you
