Photograph #1 (0:00):
This is the photo you get upon meeting the camera guy for the first time.
Photograph #1 (Alt) (1:00):
You get this photo from the photo guy instead of the regular photograph #1 if you keep saying no to take a picture.
Photograph #2 (2:00):
Located in Mabe Village. Just look through Grandpa Ulrira's window outside his house for this one.
Photograph #3 (2:24):
Located in Mabe Village. Get close to BowWow when you return him back to his owner to get this picture.
Photograph #4 (2:59):
Located in Mabe Village. Go and steal from the town shop for this one. You won't see the camera guy here, but you will automatically get it.
Photograph #5 (3:22):
Located outside of Kanalet Castle. Walk in front of the castle gate to have Richard show up and take a photo with you. This one will become unavailable if you open up the gate before you take the photo!
Photograph #6 (4:03):
Located at the lone grave in the cemetary. You can only get this after the ghost is put back to rest.
Photograph #7 (4:36):
Located at Toronbo Shores. Walk up the most southwest screen and stand at the edge of the cliff to get this. You can only get this while Marin is with you, otherwise it becomes unavailable!
Photograph #8 (5:15):
Located in Mabe Village. Go down the well where you find a heart piece to get this one. You can only get this while Marin is with you, otherwise it becomes unavailable!
Photograph #9 (5:39):
Located in Mabe Village. Stand in front of the rooster statue to take a group photo. You can only get this while Marin is with you, otherwise it becomes unavailable!
Photograph #10 (6:14):
Located under the bridge in Martha's Bay. If you see the camera guy swimming around, then talk to the fisherman to have him reel in the camera guy to get this photo.
Photograph #11 (6:54):
Located in Animal Village. First if you haven't already, obtain the Magnifying Lens, and then go into the most northeast house near the bombable cave in Animal Village. Link will automatically walk to the friendly zora to get this picture.
Photograph #12 (7:27):
Located on Tal Tal Mountain Range. From the rooster guy's house, walk to the right and keep going until you reach a bridge that leads to a dead end. Go to the dead end and then walk back to trigger the camera guy to get this photo. - Hry
The Marin and Link photos are way too adorable
the one at 8:26 was pretty weird. Link's face looks like something out of a horror movie.
Asgore 89 i think it looks comical
@@evo683 of course it's comical that is the point
Brandon Benavides yeah but the guy I responded to seemed to find it creepy rather than comical
@@evo683 yeah I can see that, It could be funny showing small kids that face or something
So... is true that this sidequest isn't in the remake? So sad! This part is so comical and emotional! Is very sad!
It's true. It's been replaced with the dungeon maker.
@@videohistory722 so sad... I liked that sidequest! 😔
The issue is that at the time the Gameboy Camera was a thing and this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for them to capitalize on it. That's why the photographer's shop and this sidequest was made.
@@johnnykrash9806 oh, I get it. Thanks.
I wish the photo quest was still in, but that stealing from the shop was removed from the photo quest. Somebody already mentioned that it was in the game boy version, because the game boy camera was a thing, but it's not anymore, so the photo quest was removed. I think you can only do snapshot photos of what's in the game with the Nintendo Switch. You can take pictures with the Nintendo 3DS, because the Nintendo 3DS has a built-in camera. I know the game is on Nintendo Switch. Someone liked the original version better than the DX version, because the DX version had a photo quest, and one of them was to steal from the shop, and he does not like stealing from the shop, because when he does that, he cannot come back in, because the shopkeeper will kill him. The shopkeeper will kill Link after he steals from the shop on all the versions (original, DX, and remake).
Just finished playing the remake. It's tragic that they didn't put this in because it gave the game so much heart. Chronicling the misadventures of link and friends makes the ending that much more powerful. I doubt they will, but i hope they do a DLC with this added in.

I am in the end game of the DX version right now, and the photos definitely lifted my spirits a lot. I had been drudging through the whole game super confused at what I was supposed to do, but before I knew it, I was attatched the characters. Seeing them (especially Marin) rendered more detailed pulled at my heart strings.
Why are you surprised from a crapmake? They only do those shit to get money from legendary games
@@SacredVolk Crapmake? Now that’s a good one!!!

1:26 The rat assaulted Link because he wouldn’t consent to having his picture taken
@@dyvyby 😳
Nice Photos -Thief-
Link
THIEF?????
@@santinopozo7481 when you steal an item from the shop, Link's name will change to THIEF.
I think the guy put his name as THIEF, because the camera guy even called him THIEF, when he first met him.
Damn I already opened the gate before starting the photo sidequest 😔
press A to print.
so this is not coming to the new game for switch ...so sad
Its very sad. Things like link's and Malon secret spot not being included just break my heart. They gave so much personality to the game and now they are gone...
@@alejandrobenavides766
Well at least one of the cutscenes made it in

@@alejandrobenavides766 The girl's name is Marin. You are thinking about Malon from Ocarina of Time.
Which made the switch ver twice as sad.
And this ladies and gentlemen is what inspired me to be a photographer
Wow, all these years and I Never knew there was an alternate one for the first one.
Very helpful thank you for this
This game seems to have such a charm, can’t wist to play the remake, hope it retains what the original had so I don’t miss out
I’m afraid the lame remake doesn’t have the photographer mouse in the remake , which sucked 😒
thanks you. very helpful
It's too bad this wasn't in the Switch version. But on the bright side, at least we don't have to steal anything from the store now.

@@johnnykrash9806 That makes sense.
@Kagereneko I don't remember well since it was a long-time ago.
@@johnnykrash9806 they still could have included it: Switch games have all kinds of features pushing you to use the screen capture feature, and this could be one of them. They could even let you post it to social media!
@@WiggyWamWam Hmm, you have a point there.
There's literally no other reason to go back into the shop after grabbing the Bow. So might as well steal it (since it costs a fortune), get it free and the photograph :)
Yeah, but you’ll be called thief.
"This is my first walk with you... THIEF"
Hahaha! 😆
It's a crime this was removed
If you meant on the switch version, yep so true.
these were so cute, its a shame they did bring them back in the remake
FR 😒
Stop stealing THIEF
Then don’t overprice the bow and arrow

I have Links Awakening DX on Virtual Console for the 3DS. Whenever I enter the Camera Shop, the game appears to be glitched and I end up in a messed up version of Crazy Tracys house, so I cant talk to the photographer to start the photo quests. Anybody else run into this problem and know a fix??
I've got the exact same problem, that's how i ended up here. I wasn't able to find anything online, not even a mention 🤷🏻♂️
Dang. So weird. I figured it was a common problem.
My brother got it on Game Boy Color. I wonder if the eShop version is busted. In the eShop version of Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble, I ran into a glitch in the rocket barrel level when reaching the end of the barrel ride with Kiddy Kong, end up in an empty version of world 1 level 2, and we cannot climb ropes, so we're stuck here with nothing to do.
Caleb Hopkins Sounds like a real-life creepypasta!
for me it works
It is possible if a DX Version (Adding Missing Camera Hut & More) of Link's Awakening for a New Switch.
However I am hoping they don't do yet the Oracle games since it might be a bit on the rough side especially Oracle of Ages because originally it was supposed to be different compared to release do to parts of it being the Third Oracle game and the Second mixed in.
It would be a shame if the Third Oracle game didn't happen because of release by Remastered, I am looking at you Grezzo make the Third Oracle happen because the part with Twinrova having the Third flame from Zelda didn't make sense at all since each hair are from the Three Goddesses (Missing Farore in Action since why is she Courage because Nayru acts more Courage then Wisdom like they swapped powers or something?).
I have a problem for the photo number 5, I already opened the doors of the castle without having the photo.. is there another way to get it?
Same for picture 7
Same thing for picture 8...
And the 9 too 💀
Unless you have another save file, you're out of luck 😢
@@Tresonance Sad
happy 30th anniversary the legend of zelda:link's awakening!!!:3
the remake really should've included these(would've preferred that way over "zelda maker".) as cutscenes animated in the intro & endings style as i love how expressive link is in the gameboy games.
I wanted to see what happens when you talk to the photographer after getting all the photos.
The twelfth photo with the mouse falling off the bridge reminds me of a scene from an old 1960s French movie called The Sucker ("Le Corniaud"). By the way I am not a boomer. In fact I just happen to have parents who are boomers themselves.
Also I like Link's red attire. It makes him look like Little Red Riding Hood. No wonder people may mistake him for a girl
What is this about? Didn't know this existed, how do you do this? It looks interesting
Oy is it me or the guy at 3:55 look like the one in zelda Age who give you the sword?
I missed to take photos with Marin. How can I finish the picture book?😢
I never got the thief photo. I always paid for my items (yes, even the 1000 rupee bow)
Damn, is there any way to get Marin again? About to wake the egg but was missing a few photos, coincidentally they were all with Marin. I'll Google it but I think I'm screwed 😅.
Nope, it's permanently missable, unfortunately.
@@Tresonance No, I actually figured out how to get her again. You just have to...nah , just playin. It was a decent entry in the series though and I'll have to find the time to do it right .
cool. but this means that i have to play it again for a true 100% run.
where is the picture were this guy calls you a thief? For me number 7 is the number for that one I think? Oh nevermind I found it :X
That mouse is dead on the switch edition
como conseguiste el traje rojo sin haber pasado los 8 niveles?

How do I make the photographer appear under the bridge in Martha's Bay? I already gave the fishing hook to the fisherman, now what?
I can't fully recall, but I believe it's either you beat a specific dungeon, or you have to get the Magnifying Glass before the photographer will appear there.
@@Tresonance Thank you
Only here because the fisherman photo is annoying to get let alone own
It seems like this doesn’t work on the original version🙁
Dude how to get fishermans photo?
You have to get the Magnifying Glass and the photographer will appear
@@FelipeCar13 Ohhh that’s how!!! Thanks
I can't do the gate one even whit the gate closed
Did you start the photo quest? Also, it might not be available if you collected all the golden leaves already or before you even spoke to Richard; I can't recall.
@@Tresonance apparently the 3DS version is full of glitch, the first time I went to the photo house there was already the first photo and the album so I thought the quest was started, when I came back it let me start the quest and for some reason there was the Zora photo, then I came back to the gate (that I still haven't open) I still can't get the photo (probably because I ended the golden leaf sidequest)
@@SpeedyDorito It makes sense, because the guy in the photo also mentions that you have not collected the golden leaf in the cutscene. I did not get the photo either. I cannot remember if I found out about the photo quest after I opened the gate. I think I was watching it on CZcams, and I saw a cutscene triggered at the closed gate, and then I found out about the photo quest, but it was too late to get that photo, because I already opened the gate.
