- Have you ever distributed THIS in your car? - What exactly it is and why you should distribute it in your car, I explain to you here!
✅ Is HERE something for you? ➡️ amzn.to/3Hi7tEy *
Especially in the cold months you have more often moisture in the car. This affects the visibility and when it's freezing outside it can even be that your windows are frozen from the inside. Then you have to scratch not only outside but also inside. Of course, we want to avoid this in the best case and for this a dehumidifier is suitable from a kind of home remedy, which we build ourselves.
In this case, it is cat litter. Because cat litter can absorb the moisture from the air and thus ensure that your car is no longer damp from the inside. To do this, you should fill a sock with cat litter. Make sure that there is no hole in the sock. Then tie a knot in the top and put another sock over this sock, which you then also tie.
Now you can put this sock filled with cat litter in your car. Preferably directly on the dashboard. While you are using your car, you can simply put the cat litter sock under the seat.
You will notice that there is hardly any moisture in the car. If you notice over time that the moisture in the car starts to return, you should change the cat litter in the sock every now and then.
Try this ingenious trick but also with you necessarily once, so that you have no more moisture in the car.

Listen I have been doing what I am about to tell you for years. Take men's (shaving cream in a can) and rub it on the windows and completely wipe it clean you can also do this in the bathroom so after taking a shower won't fog up the mirror. It works try it.
I spread cat litter in my car last August. Left the windows down , ran into the grocery store for milk and bread, when I came back three cats and a racoon had taken a dump in my car
😳🤔🤣 REALLY🙄 ❤️😀
Lol!!!
Hahahaha!! Hahahaha!! 😨😂😂😂
It’s not very nice to laugh at another person’s misfortune but you have to admit that’s pretty funn. When I first saw the headline I thought he was going to say you spread it all over the car floor. All I could think of was there’s no way I’m running around town in a litter box on wheels!! The other thing I thought of was that’s going to be pretty ugly to try and vacuum up!
LOL 😂
that’s exactly what I was thinking too.
Only my luck is so bad, I would get in drive off, not notice the mountain lion shitting in the back seat & he would attack me while I drove & I would have to fight him off.
While doing that, I would get pulled over for inattentive driving,
& as the officer walked up to the car, the mountain lion would jump out the passenger side & the officer would ask where my face went & he wouldn’t believe a mountain lion tore it off & I would get arrested for tripping out on acid, besides the driving charge.
Then I would be sent directly to jail & they would loose the key & I would develop dementia & live to be 142.
Don’t put kitty litter in your car.
This could happen to you.
Or, just run the air conditioner at a medium setting. The A/C acts as a dehumidifier.
Yeah, it works if you have an air condition in one's car. Our vehicles do not have one. It does suck a lot of water out of the car, as it leaves puddles of water under their car. Maybe he is thinking of when you are not in your car, over night that water is back in the car, enough to leave wet windows to freeze up,
I was thinking of trying his trick in our house. copy and paste my comment on getting rid of water in the home. BTW, I use it to keep water out because of musical equipment that I do not want to ruin, guitars can warp if there is moisture. if a guitar warps the tiniest amount it can change the sound and it will be worthless.

I did not know that cat litter helps get rid of moisture, but I had gotten the trick of using salt from CZcams channel "Homestead Homies, Off Grid With Dug And Stacy," to use salt inside a cotton cloth to dry up moisture in the home. They had gotten this trick from the Amish, saying they used large crystal salt, like what is used in a home-made ice cream maker salt, or road salt used for snow and ice, a large grain salt, in an old cotton shirt tied at the top, and hang it in the basement or crawl space under one's house, over a bucket, and let the water it absorbs drip into the bucket, dump the water every few days, to get rid of moisture in the home.
I put table salt, small grain salt in panty hose and hung it up, it did not drip water off, yet it did absorb enough water to turn the salt into one hard solid mass. I now have large grain salt sitting out in cups in every room to absorb moisture. I will also use your cat litter trick with it, together I can have double protection.
that works depending where you are, its already -35 c here! i want the heater on!!!
Thanks for the tip ✌️
Lol sometimes the simplest solution stares them in the face
Then you freeze to death in your car and when you put the heating on, all that condensed moisture evaporates back into the car and fogs the windows as it condenses onto the cold windows.
Just put the heater on and then open a couple of windows slightly. The warm, moist higher pressure air will go out of the windows, taking the moisture with it.
1:28 - I hat it when my windows are "fucked up"..........
I Use silica cat litter. It seems to be more absorbent. You can reuse it after heating it up in an oven. This method can be used to dry boots.
The jumping puma on the sock full of cat litter is a nice touch.
Expensive socks to prevent those focked up windows lol
What a fogging brilliant tip! No more fog-ups for me! Thanks.
or use a dehumidifier if u have one, loo roll works as well, turn up the head leave the loo roll in as it dry's then remove it before heating the car again, i figured that out from keeping box's of tissues in my car..
Great fix in a pinch, but from the $ store one can buy a plastic container where the top half is full of silica gel and the bottom half is a reservoir for the collected moisture for only $1.25 cdn.
And it's states on most not to use in tight closed areas with humans or animals. Good for spare room, attics, basement, garages, large areas with some ventilation.
@@TM-iq6sx GOOD POINT 👌🏽
There has been Hospitalized cases from this product and some cat litters. Ventalation is needed. Or large area, or where less contact. Charcoal clay litter cotton wick in a bucket does well too.
Winter driving, bag of cheap litter kept in rear floorboard, when spinning wheels on ice I'd open the door & toss a hand full toward the wheels (rear wheel drive) to get enough grip to move.
That only works with non clumping cat litter. When clumping cat litter gets wet it can become very slippery
Gravel is much cheaper and does the same thing.
Just use shaving cream on windshield and wipe off..no more moisture
Works good..
OMG! The comments are hilarious!
Could I really be chuckling this often? Thanx
Clean your windows with Simple Green. Works great on bathroom window
I will definitely try this. Thank you.
Thankyou 👍 what a brilliant idea . Instant subscriber 👍😁☺️ Cheers from Australia
Fantastic tip. Thank you so much! ( :
Turn up the heat Full , turn on A/C , direct to windshield. Also open rear windows an inch or two.
In fact my car does the first 3 things with 1 button. 2012 Mazda 3
GREAT TIP!!!! Thank you from England.
I got rid off the moisture in the air, but got less effective when picking up girls.
They always ask why do I keep my socks below the windshield..
And having fogged windows while inside with them is.. good. Privacy reasons :)
Lol!
If you live in the UK, Poundstretcher sell something called 'FAB FRESH SMALL AND COMPACT SCENTED DEHUMIDIFIER', cost is a couple of quid. I have them in my Nissan as this car is notorious for misting up. Works a treat.
I would address the ROOT of the problem. Water intrusion. There are drain holes at the bottoms of doors etc. that can get clogged. If you have a sunroof, there are drain holes on the periphery as well.
That may be the root of the problem for some people.
Most commonly, however, it’s simply getting in and out of the car during the pouring rain, bringing water in with you, or, for a good number of us, all the snow on our shoes and boots that comes into the car, melts, and stays in the car as moisture just waiting to ice up the interior of our windshield.
No leaks whatsoever in mine and it is very bad for condensation. Seat Leon
Hellooo! The reason the windows fog up is because the ventilation is on recirc mode. Take it off recirc mode and it no more fog up. You can also turn AC on to eliminate fogging. Why the heck would I put cat litter in my car when the solution is in the controls.
If you leave your windows down or your roof seals are old and it rains like in my 1996 Camaro that i am restoring lol you get more than humidity this is only one of the steps to a slew of problems you can have and this helped me. I don't think controls can kill mold over night. Once you turn your car off no ac ALSO the heat underneath your car will evaporate any water left in your car and make everything moist again. He is saying to keep your car fresh 24/7 put this under the seat and forget.

I’m going to try this👍🏽
Remember everyone, Don't do this with USED cat litter
Now you tell me.
🙀 ooOOOH SHITa!!! 😹
Hahaha!
Why? It's called 'recycling'. Think of the environment!
@@the_once-and-future_king. You're right, Save the Planet
This reduces effective surface area of clay to contact water molecules in the air...
Spread clay out under seats in a frisbee.
Or best yet silica based desiccants packets. Damp-rid is very effective, with a separate bag that can containing a litter of water.
seems like if you covered the frisbee with a stocking it would work without misshaps. just a thought
@@wvursula2827 ...perhaps Even a pantyhose legging. 😉👍🎯
I like that tip, thank you Smart Fox 😍
Your Welcome :)
Excellent!!!
Very good advice
I don't even have a car, but I watched this video just to hear him try to say "fogged." Hilarious!
Awesome to! Thank you! 🤗
Your Welcome :)
Thank you
You can dry the cat liter by putting on a cookie sheet. Put in oven on LOW temp. Doesn't take long. Put the nasty sox in the dryer for a few minutes. Rinse & repeat.
To stop freezing windows in winter, follow these tips from our mechanic son. While driving have the warm air blowing well enough to circulate out through the door, then just before arriving at your destination cool the inside of the car by opening window, turning off heat. The most important tip which works wonders is ever so slightly open the window, even 1/8 inch. Next morning, when you operate the window, press gently and quickly enough not to engage the automatic open feature. First close up that tiny bit, then open slightly and if needed, repeat. By not engaging the automatic feature the window works harder to clear any frozen bit. I have not once had an issue since my son explained this to me. And yes, as written below, using the air conditioning clears moisture in the doors too.
👍🏽🇺🇸
"Be shua zohs socks zont haf hohls sohm-vehah!" Love the accent!
Interesting!
Use fresh air setting in cold weather and recirculating air in summer.
Rice works just as well. With rice they say you can microwave it and reuse it. I didn’t try it but I did use the rice sock for six months and it worked just fine.
You could also use rise. A fogged up window could also mean that water gets in your car. Check all the seals and look also in the trunk of your car for wet spots.
Some people live in wet rainy locations. Shoes etc jackets, umbrellas bring in water.
@hbgriss Exactly. Or we bring in snow on our shoes or boots that melts in the water stays in the car
Some people throw water all over the place my uncle jack pours water on his head in the car in winter in th3 summer it's buckets . My husband says he does on purpose . He says he doesn't. I'm 27 he fingerd me
Great idea.
Great Idea
You can set the heater to the RECIRCULATED AIR position, but for normal use, it is best to keep the lever in the OUTSIDE AIR position. Otherwise the windows will fog up more easily.
I found the cat muck sticks on the edge of the sock when you poke it in and also gets under the finger nails. I recommend using someone else's socks and a tea spoon.
Wow! tank´s friend!
Your Welcome :)
@@smartfoxofficial I am brazilian my inglish is bad sorry! kk
Salt in a cup(s) in the cup holder(s) works same way .
I tried this, whilst I was putting something in the boot, the next door neighbours cat s**t in my car!!
So I put my 'Boot in something'. The next door neighbours cat 😂
And watch the neighbourhood cats come and shit in your air vents
I like to use the crystal since it's an actual desiccant
👍👍Ingegnoso! Grazie per il consiglio! ❤
@1:28
He said that car windows "fog up, "--at first I thought I heard, "fucked up."
Is this a certain type of cat litter like clumping cat litter or non-clumping cat litter
Sounds like your saying f instead of fogged!! Lol 😆 🤣
Can you use used cat litter..?
Nice trick with the tape
My car is 16 years old and consequently the door and window seals are degrading, resulting in steamy windows. This guy has the right idea but you can buy ready made bags of absorbent clay from Halfords in the UK. Think I paid £8 and it works well. Bring it in every now and then to let it dry out. Easy!
Add charcoal in the 2nd sick. The air bulb dehumidifiers that now use silicone ( do not use new style cat litter in where closed in space with humans or animals. The chemical can become toxic. )Before that they used charcoal, cotton fiber or cork sponges. So this ideal would work if it was in a looser knit or nylon sock place in a can . Attached how you wish. The store ones are bucket style with a middle stim with a bulb ( slots on sides on top of hallow stem. Alternative is to hang the sock straight in can slightly touching clay litter on bottom, charcoal / clay in loose sock.
Where can I get a Smart Fox T shirt from? Danke
i have a bag of cat litter in my car all the time, i fly my macaw parrot on grass plains in Ireland n in the wet season there's often a chance of getting bogged in, my macaw has nibbled the rubber seals on my car door so its damp in there, i was planning to run the dehumidifier in it but now I'm thinking i should check the cat litter, its probably a mud block by now, mind I have noticed my car isn't as damp..
Fogged car windows sounds the best when u say it
Will that work on my Harley? Sometimes my shades get a bit foggy.
Grow a mustache, and glue cat litter to it. That should work!
Rice works well too.
That’s no different than using a DampRid container, but I personally would just use the car’s defrost and heat to get rid of window fogging. DampRid containers eventually fill up with water and need to be discarded.
Much cheaper than the expensive drying crystal bags I bought! I'm going to use cat litter in future!
Am I the only one that thought he was saying "fukk'd windows" to start with 🤔🤔😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You can also make really cute gnomes this way. 🙂
I got some Damp Rid, it works much better and no mess no smell...
Make sure to use the unscented Damp Rid if you don't want the car smelling like a giant moth ball.
Now that I have cats, I can do this! Lol
I would use moisture absorbers
Knee high nylons are better than socks, they allow better air flow. Of course like everyone says the AC/defroster will dry out your car better, if you have it.
Yep and use the crystal typ cat litter, way more effective and doesn't leave your car dusty and smelling like cat litter.
Crack your windows about a fingers width, turn on your heater and drive.
Genius. So many of us would’ve never thought of that.🙄
I live in an extremely damp climate. That doesn’t help. Constantly running defog doesn’t help. The only way to draw the excess moisture out of my vehicle is with things with like cat litter - otherwise, in the winter, I have ice on the inside of my windshield every morning
Can you use 'odd socks' 🤔 or Does it have to be a pair?
I live in Thailand, have cats and therefore also cat litter. there is always a bowl of cat litter in the car. the humidity is extremely reduced
I had 5 of these in various places in the car--and it made no differece at all--windscreen still fogged up.
THATS WHAT I THOUGHT WOULD HAPPEN.
Because it's to do with varying temperatures on each side of the glass, not moisture in the car.
This guy's hacks lately have been pretty damn lame..
I spread the cat litter all thru the car, including on the dash, sans sock. Works a treat as the frogs say.
You are going to have to stop breathing in the car. I’ll make a video to demonstrate.
Ta daaaa. Your car is now a litter box
I haven’t watched the video I just assumed by the title. Cats would just start shitting in your car. Lol
I guess that cotton socks are better to use than acrylic, right?
I smashed my windows out with a sledgehammer. No more fogging, much cooler in the Summer AND it's easier at the Drive-Thru.
LOVE it!
Brilliant! And you can get the interior squeaky clean at the drive-thru car wash.
Now my car stinks!!
Did I need to wash the socks first before adding the litter and putting them in the car?
Allegedly it can be used to remove the dye from off road diesel .
No more foqed up windows!😁😅🤙🏼
Thank you SMART FOX: WALTER VEITH - CLASH OF MINDS Channel, CZcams & Alternative Platforms!
It don't work but at least the cats have a public toilet 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm just here for the hilarious comments🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Absorbs moisture
It also works as a cosh if you need a makeshift weapon.
Just use the heater, It only takes a few moment to clear the windows.
Amen with the price of socks F that noise I can barely afford to put socks on my feet with no holes in them.
@@valerierodger7700 Just that I don't get snow and ice where I am.
My grandma always kept a clay brick under the car seat to absorb moisture.
Cleaning the windows does the same thing!
Knee high nylons for women allows more expose to the litter. Just make sure to but it were protected from stepping on it.
Be very careful of putting kitty litter in your car, because all the cats in the neighbourhood will use it as a toilet.
Its also handy if u need take a pee while your driving. 👍
Rice would do the same job.
Your car constantly takes in air from outside the car. As it takes in fresh air it continually takes in moisture. This isn't going to work very well.
It is called a desiccant
My dad would have us wipe down all the inner glass, turn on the defrost, Crack a window open and tell us : Don't Breath till they de- fog🤣 would a large desiccant bag ( do not eat) that comes in electronic packaging work as well.?l
Yeeeesssss!
sind seit Jahren in meinem Auto und Schlafzimmer. Grüße aus Maastricht nl
I just had neighbours cat in pooped all over.
For people who buy cars without a defrost option LOL!
For People ,for whom this doesn't work , and the creator . There are many different brands ,and compounds of cat litter . Be more specific . Fuller's earth a type of absorptive clay is most common . I shall try this type , as could prove most useful of works .
I don't like the idea of taking my socks off and doing without for a week.
Needs a 'Do not eat' label...
