想问一下，为什么有些季报所算出的 net cash position 是有扣除 trade and other payables 和 provision 呢？
通常季报是不会算NET CASH的，它们通常知识列出以及比较Receivables以及Paybles。不过计算Net Cash的最终Formula都是Total Cash - Total Borrowing. 因为payables只要不是预期还钱，理论上不会有利息。

老师， 我想问，假如某些公司拥有很多净现金，但是他们没有用这些净现金发展，也没有派发给股东，这些公司的“净现金”对股东有什么好处？
这类公司算是老人股，有钱但是什么都不做。市场钱多不扩张的老人股大多会派发一些股息，例如HLIND，ORIENT, HUP SENG等。因此投资一家上市公司，适当负债但是高速成长的话，也是可以投资的。过去5年负债成长公司就有DIALOG，SCIENTX，HARTA(最近两个季度才变成Net Cash)。因此投资成长（扩张才会有成长）是第一考量，现金多是额外的Bonus。

为什么net cash formula 只是拿公司的 total cash 减去 total borrowing 而不是拿公司的
total liabilities 减去 total cash ?
难道公司可以拖欠其他债务吗 ?

liabilities在华语是负债，但不是所有负债都必须给利息。Payables只要在固定的时间内还款，问题不大。但是Borrowing是银行借贷款给商家，而且有着高昂的利息。而且公司倒闭的话，最先考量的必须是银行。公司的资产也包括Receivables，因此收到客户的付款后就可以用来还钱给suppliers等，两者可以周转。你如果有仔细看的话，当公司的Receivables增加很多的话，通常Payables也会随之增长。因此Net Cash的算法是，假设用【真金白银】还钱给银行之后，公司还剩下多少钱。
