“I just assumed you were lying.” “Thank you.” Haha just the little quips show so much of her character
That could've been improvised aswell
April actually has a soft side
And her dynamic with Andy is so cute
The fact that April and Ann actually hugged after all their animosity and issues is so wonderful.🥰❤️
Also, I can believe April is a witch, but I don’t think she’s evil or hates everything.😉😊💖
One of my favorite moments of the show is her getting emotional over being the reason Andy ends his show
What show is that
Johnny karate i believe!
April Ludgate is more than vibe. She’s an icon!
I just assumed you were lying.
Thank you.
😂
you shined shoes for two years and never made a profit, you can hack this! ... this is the type of encouragement in need here XD
i just thought you were lying😂
The compilation that beats all other compilations (because I'm biased - there, I said it)
That seems to be a reasonable bias.
Description could use some edits
From "The Office" 😂
Awesome
Aww yes. The “daddy” for men
"Did I miss a nice moment? 🥺"
April and leslie are the 2 funniest female characters on any show ever.
This just reminds me that Leslie Knope is the greatest character ever created. A Nuclear Bomb of niceness and positivity, with the most hilarious juxtaposed name ever.
April is everything I want in a girlfriend!!! haha
No she isn't
That's a woman that will stab you in your sleep
@@MMUTG3RAgain EVERYTHING I WANT IN A WOMAN - PUT ME OUT OF MY MISERY!!! Dont tempt me with a good time!
Aubrey is the best!
I like this April where has she been with those color in her cheeks
There must be something wrong with me, the only person I don’t like in the show is Leslie. The actress never looks cute or sweet, she looks mean and annoying (like I said there must be something wrong with me right?)
Anyways it seems like a giant vanity project by a democrat to advertise how kind and awesome they are, when I usually run into the exact opposite.
All the other characters are interesting and compelling, except Leslie.
I think Leslie's hilarious. But i do see how it looks like they're trying to make democrats look good. I thought the same thing But more like politicians in general
@@gussjohnson1613 well there you go! I go involved in politics in college back in the early 2000’s. At that time the big conflict I saw was between those who saw the government as the organization to solve problems vs those who saw themselves as private citizens the ones with the responsibility to solve them.
The two big examples I started was the student government voted to charge all students $70 per student per month to pay for recycling for on campus students (where we were recycling did NOT pay for itself, even for cans). I pushed that this was not fair since only half the student body lived on campus, and I could do it with a volunteer force paid out of my own pocket for way cheaper. Bc I was affiliated with college Republicans it took a while before it caught on, and even in 2002, people tried calling me a Nazi, something I had to laugh at then never believing where the world would be now.
The second was more the same, my church group with CR’s saved the homeless shelter, without taking any money from the government.
The creators of Parks and Rec, is Greg Daniels (creator of The Office) and Michael Schur (who wrote on The Office and played Mose). Their idea was to create a show that was the antithesis to The Office. Focusing on small/municipal government. They did research trips around the US, which is how they ended up with the character of Ron whose a libertarian
The defining factor of Leslie's not that she's a democrat. It's that she's an overly ambitious idealist, working a constant uphill battle against, as April said - apathy. Leslie believes (contrary to everyone) that small government/municipal matters matter. She also does the same work as 5 people for the income of one. Isn't that a Republican's wet dream?
yeah its kind of annoying how she always gets what she wants but its seen as the best choice because shes just a good person. I wish she took more Ls so she could be humbled
@@Niche.S very true on everything you say.
Big fan of more power being in the most local government (that the people have the most influence over), as to the one doing the work of five, I tend to think that a worker should be compensated for the work they do, I just want to “slash it,” as Ron so eloquently phrases it.
Now that you have thoroughly made your point, mine was that Leslie and the gang all come at life from a left leaning perspective, for the most part (and even Leslie) they are very likable, Ron is my favorite of course, but he’s a bit disagreeable as a person.
Anyways, happy new year to you, I’m going to go be involved with my family vs continuing this discussion that I’d have to look up far too much information on both the show and local government to effectively make my point to continue. You won!!
