How YOU Can Get Max Points in New Super Mario Bros. 2.

Back in April 2020, I made a video grinding to Max Points in New Super Mario Bros. 2. That video barely got any traction, so I'm doing a redux! I'm telling you how to grind to 1 billion points, and how to do it quickly! Enjoy and good luck on your ultimately pointless Max Point journey, to get a permanent flying coin block everywhere you go.
...Look I didn't say the reward was super interesting.

The fact that there's any reward at all for getting max points is really bizarre to me. I get the reward for the coins, there's a big counter for that and everything. But points are never emphasized in any other way.

Pretty interesting Video! I got into Speedrunning this game a little while ago and maybe it's a thing for a big big Stream to try. I don't think you really did go in detail on how long it could take, but I hope it's around an hour or two maybe? Anyway wish you a great day

The full point billion grind? 13 hours or so

This is true, however, this is a really boring way and not super efficient, as in the Normal game you can only get 9,999 coins per level visit. The most fun and probably most effective way to grind to Max Coins is Coin Rush. Specifically the Gold Flower Pack in the DLC can get you 30,000 coins per run through with little effort. But even without DLC, Coin Rush is the most fun.
