Dude, you truly redefined minimalism for me and others I guess. I used to think I had to own less and declutter a lot, not realizing I was throwing away useful items and spending more money on buying those items again. You made my day!

Moft makes an amazing phone wallet thing that sticks to ur phone and doubles as a phone stand/ pop socket type thing. Using mine for 2 years love it
This is definitely going on my amazon wish list! Also the iPad Mini is something I always wanted from it's launch day to now, it's just the perfect size and can fit pretty much anywhere. Loving the video as always!

Actually I own a biker bag (from Velodeath) and most the things I carry there too! My friends always gets impressed how many necessary things I carry with me
Finally I feel normal for carrying similar things
I also have a Bellroy bag; I think it's the 9L Venture Sling. It's one of the best purchases I've made. As I travel a lot on the tube, I do have noise cancelling headphones; I use the Sony WM3's over-ear as I don't want to be sticking things in my ears. The only other significant difference is that I have my Kindle in it rather than my iPad mini, as the Kindle gives a better reading experience.

I used to edc a Coach "boarding bag" when I used to always bring an ipad, it fits my style more. But lately have left that and the ipad at home. Hopefully ios16 allows for pencil use on the iphone, as that can also work for me.
When I travel, I never bring a daypack backpack and just use the same boarding bag for that purpose. I just have a flatter Nalgene flask instead of the usual cylindrical shaped bottle, fits both my TB Synapse 25's middle pocket and the Coach boarding bag.

My tablet sometimes feel like an extra. But others, is my best friend. Same with my laptop. We really need to filter through all this new tech that comes out every day. My phone is not "The latest, fastest one" from Samsung. It's a very low/mid scale one. But it gets the job done in my everyday. The cameras are nice, I take great photos with it, I hear tons of music with it, read... All this beyond the social media stuff.

The iPad Mini is a great investment, especially in combination with the pencil and considering your use cases. You could go completely paperless if you wanted: calendar/planner/bullet journaling and even reading (unfortunately the eyestrain is real for me and I'll have to switch to an e-ink device).
Bought my first + yet only iPad (and overall Apple device) 5 years ago and expect to get at least 1 or 2 additional years out of it. I wish I'd have taken better care in terms of battery health but am still astounded by its longevity.
Not sure if gaming has its place in your minimalist approach but in case you want to allow yourself some fun distraction and could use a recommendation: Playing Kingdom Rush navigated with the pencil is just on another level. 😬
Can I be honest? Kingdom rush is my all time favorite app game, no question

Water bottle won’t fit if I have my electronics in there 😅
what camera do you use? Considering this or the venture sling for a similar use for day trips (Sony 7C + Sigma ART 18-24mm lens)

It's interesting that you upgraded from the RUSH pack - when i saw that video I was thinking "he has a LOT of bag for such a minimalist EDC footprint" (don't get me wrong, it's nice to be able to pick up a few things from the store w/ your EDC pack - haha). I saw you as the Peak Design Everyday Sling in 5L or 10L... and then you ended up with a similar pack. Nice job always evolving!!!! Be safe.

Great vid! I've just been looking at this bag myself, need something smaller than a backpack to work every day just to bring my lunch and essentials. I'm thinking of the Venture Sling 9L. What you have is the Venture Sling 6L right?
Bellroy have great products so good choice!
This one is 7L. I recommend, I prefer the thin, lighter material and I think the venture is thicker/heavier 😊
I have the venture sling 9L it’s amazing . I went from the backpack to it and have a ton of space left. Nordstrom’s sells it and had free shipping , they have a good return policy in case you don’t like it.

Hey, really like the videos and humor! I was wondering if the iPad mini 6 will fit in the large zippered pocket inside the main compartment? I’d really like some separation of my iPad from everything else in the bag.
Main compartment yes, any pockets within the main compartment definitely no
Does anyone know if I can fit the apple Magic Keyboard inside? It measures 11”, the bag should be 12”, just not to sure!
Same for the iPhone , I switched iPhone 10 max to an iPhone 13 and the size is so better

Same as your EDC except a bottle of water….. 40* celcius in south of France actually so water is indispensable

What are the two lenses you use along with your camera in the bag? I also enjoy a lightweight edc and I want to compare it with my camera.
I personally have a sony a73 and would carry along a sony 35mm F1.8.
Also, is the bag significantly more bulky that it looks weird with your camera? Just wondering since you werent able to get a shot with your camera inside
Sigma 30mm, and Sony 20mm pancake lens is what I use and it fits here 😄
Do you fit the camera in the bag WITH or WITHOUT the lens attached? I'm obsessively searching for a non-backpack bag that can fit my XT3 WITH the 35f1.4 attached (for the ability to yank it out and get quick shots)!
With lens attached. For what it’s worth I use a 30mm sigma 1.4 which I believe is a similar size. Fits great 👍🏻

I found the Black Ember Kompak also suitable, but it doesn't look aesthetically pleasing and doesn't hold an iPad with a protective case.
I like Black Ember but I’m really getting tired of backpack company’s making bags so expensive. The North Face for me has good quality with reasonable prices in my experience

Have you had any problems with the stitching? I ordered one a few days ago, but I read a review today saying the stitching came loose after a couple of months. I'm guessing you haven't encountered any problems. Hoping the review I read was just bad luck and not a reoccurring issue.

How’s the comfort of the strap with long use and with the iPad mini and water bottle inside? Does it hurt your shoulder with a full day of walking?

Yeah, great video ....i ALWAYS need a spare pair of sunnies tho as my eyes are pale blue so pathetic in any bright light. ..also do you ever carry some kind of defence spray etc.? Its illegal here in Uk tho. I'm upping my self-defence knowledge now e.g. Aikado. It helps my confidence very much. It is just quick logic. I'm female so sadly i carry a rape alarm which is rechargable, and has a powerful LED torchlight. Your bag looks like a very good buy . 👍💜

One suggestion - next time you show your car / apartment keys - wrap them in something or blur the image. Just to hide unique cutout on the keys so no one will try to reproduce them out of picture... :)
