  • For years I've prayed and prayed to be able to eat all types of foods without any restrictions.
Growing up, I always had eczema lurking somewhere on my body. In grade school it was behind my knees and in the inner creases of my elbows, in high school it spread onto my hands, in college it took towards my mouth and recently it spread all over my face and neck.
About 6 years ago, once it spread to my mouth, I scheduled an appointment with an allergist who told me to cut out all foods I reacted to during the skin prick and blood test. I listened to him, and at the time, it made sense! Every time I ate gluten, soy or tomatoes, I felt my eczema around my mouth flare up and become extremely uncomfortable, tight, and itchy. I couldn't laugh or open my mouth without being in pain.
At the time, I found avoiding these foods helped lessen the happenings of a flare.
But recently, after doing everything in my power to avoid foods, certain environments, stress and more... I had the worst flare of my life. It had spread to all over my face, eyes, ears, neck and I had patches all throughout my body. For more background on this story, watch my other video below:
