I just started pole vaulting maybe a month ago as a sophomore and I was pretty decent for only having done it for like 2 weeks but now all of a sudden I can’t even vault anymore and I’ve genuinely been having breakdowns over it
@@q12aw50😂😂 just a reminder you *chose* to comment first under op's original comment. Just putting it out there (but i agree, ops comment is kinda outta place on a short about pole vault)
As a pole vaulter I have noticed in my self that I sometimes move my foot back when getting ready to run and I noticed that u do it to and I just wanted to let you know that it will lessen your running strength when you do that.also the height ur hitting as an 8th grader surprises me as I am a 7th grader
As a pole vaulter that impressive. also DO NOT land on your feet you might hurt yourself in the process
OMG U ARE SO GOOD!
How do u do it!?
I’m in 8th grade and I can’t go that high or rly get upside down
idk just try and get ur feet up its pretty easy
Thank you! Sorry I didn't reply sooner. This is my dad's account. Just a lot of practice and hard work.

I’m an 8th grade boy and I got 9’6 today the first day I’ve practiced it in my life.
Causally watching this cuz my crush does pole vault and I needed to learn what it was

Yes it can definitely be very challenging and emotional, but just try to stay confident and know what you’re capable of!! :)
Go lilly

bro stop this isn’t even relative
How is she been doing it that well it looks like she’s barely running
Not to be rude or anything, but as a high school pole vaulter she CAN NOT land on her feet, it can cause knee and ankle problems
Thanks! This was her 8th grade year. She has learned a lot since then and is no longer landing on her feet.
That’s great, I did look back it the clip and she might want to keep that lower arm ( left arm) straighter for longer. If she hasnt fixed that yet
@@rorycavanaugh5016 Thank you! She hasn't totally corrected that yet. She still slightly bends it sometimes.
Once she starts really bending it she will clear incredible heights
I’m a 7th grade boy jumping 9
Am I school? We are not allowed to polevault until we are in high school, but I already started.
Good for you. #passion
