  • This was meant to be a video for my teammates - instructions on how to use oils for a pain butter. I'm not a professional - just a mother sharing information - this video somehow has gone a bit viral.
    NOTE TO WATCHERS -- you may use a double boiler and not the microwave if you prefer. i realize many people dislike the microwave ...and by all means if you double the recipe like i did use a bigger bowl and don't leave it in the fridge quite so long. Because this was meant for only for my teammates.... I did not want to reshoot with a bigger bowl.... it was meant to be a BLOOPER at this point.
    Steps to make your own pain relief lotion, using Shea, Cocoa, Coconut, Sweet Almond, Frankincense, Lavender, Lemongrass, Peppermint, Bloc

    What a Lifesaver! I have a bad back with sciatica, herniated disks and fractured facet joint that needs surgery, plus I have arthritis setting in and a connective tissue disorder that causes me generalized pain throughout my body. THIS WORKS! Thank you!

      +sweetreat30 lol thanks for your comment. yes many use a stand mixer, as long as it doesn't stay in the fridge too long it shouldn't be too demanding on it. :)

    Vitamin E is not a preservative it helps to slow down oxidation all oils weigh differently at 1 cup so if it's important to you to have an equal amount of each butter and oil grams or ounces is a better way to get an equal weight.

      I did and it's amazing stuff! Just not sure how much beeswax i was meant to add and when? Also can't find the essential oil "bloc" anywhere. However it was great. Will try making it again this week. Thank you for sharing. God bless you x

    • @LoveontheFarms
      @LoveontheFarms  Před 8 lety +2

      Bloc is our pain relief blend specific to our company. Here's the straight link to it if you want to read what oils it includes bepure.ly/MemberToolsDotNet/ShoppingCartv3/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=17992&CatalogueID=212&PartyID=0&PartyGuestID=0&InternalUse=1&ProductGroupString=66.67&ReferringDealerID=813312
      If you add beeswax (you don't have to) do it as you melt everything down. I like to add several TBS maybe, to just firm up the lotion a bit and increase absorption. I prefer and recommend local beeswax

    • @LoveontheFarms
      @LoveontheFarms  Před 2 lety

      You can add it during the liquid stage before cooling it down... how much is really determined by how stiff you want the rub to be. Typically I might add a few tablespoons to give it a bit more stiffness.

I have the doTERRA Physician Kit Essential Oils and Eden's Garden Aphrodisiac and Cypress Essential Oils...I want to get as much use out of the oils as possible, my mother-in-law has swelling and joint issues in her leg and I want to help provide her some relief...just not sure what oils mix well together...Thanks in advance!

      +Jamie Griffin lemongrass is MONEY for joint issues! you really need it... Bloc you don't HAVE to have but it's our pain relief blend - similar but better than doterra's deep blue.
