- This was meant to be a video for my teammates - instructions on how to use oils for a pain butter. I'm not a professional - just a mother sharing information - this video somehow has gone a bit viral.
NOTE TO WATCHERS -- you may use a double boiler and not the microwave if you prefer. i realize many people dislike the microwave ...and by all means if you double the recipe like i did use a bigger bowl and don't leave it in the fridge quite so long. Because this was meant for only for my teammates.... I did not want to reshoot with a bigger bowl.... it was meant to be a BLOOPER at this point.
Steps to make your own pain relief lotion, using Shea, Cocoa, Coconut, Sweet Almond, Frankincense, Lavender, Lemongrass, Peppermint, Bloc

What a Lifesaver! I have a bad back with sciatica, herniated disks and fractured facet joint that needs surgery, plus I have arthritis setting in and a connective tissue disorder that causes me generalized pain throughout my body. THIS WORKS! Thank you!
Tsilos Kosbab awesome! thanks for the comment!
Thank you so very much for this video, my mother is on blood thinners and has leukemia, can't take any pain meds.
Really looking forward to trying this.
Love your accent. ☺
Great!
I just made this and applied it to my sun burn and the pain went away almost instantly. I can't wait to see if it helps me on my bad fibromyalgia days. Thank you for making the video. I hope to see more from you
LOVE it! .... yes we use this pain butter for all sorts of stuff... lol
Waaw, i am greatly moved by the wonderful results. Big ups👍👍👍
You are adorable! Thank you for this video, I look forward to trying out this recipe. I may use my kitchen aid stand mixer though. I think the motor can handle it. Looking forward to seeing your other videos.
+sweetreat30 lol thanks for your comment. yes many use a stand mixer, as long as it doesn't stay in the fridge too long it shouldn't be too demanding on it. :)
hahaha next time youl use a deep round bowl hellooo lol
right?! :)
Vitamin E is not a preservative it helps to slow down oxidation all oils weigh differently at 1 cup so if it's important to you to have an equal amount of each butter and oil grams or ounces is a better way to get an equal weight.
I suggest using a bowl w a high brim. that will help contain the substance being mixed :)
as i mention in the video description :) this video was only for my teammates - never meant to go "viral" and for so many others to see this blooper LOL
Absolutely loved your tutorial video. Straight fwd and easy. My hubby injured his shoulder recently and is tender and tight at the area. Will have to Shop for some of the oils lav, bloc and frankincense. :) thx for the idea!
+Jessica Duran Thanks so much! Glad you found it helpful. It's quite lengthy but all my customers and teammates really wanted to see a video on it. Yes you can find oils at my website www.bepure.ly/tiffiney if you don't already have a consultant, or are not one yourself! Better yet, host a party with me and get them FREE! :)
I love your videos. Very good info and really helpful for me.
50% Butters to 50% Oils
then add your E.O. at the end
I can’t wait to try this recipe❣️ What is the shelf life and how much beeswax did you add to this recipe? (I also want to do a large batch). 🤗
I hope you had a trance to try it! It's awesome! Shelf life in a cool dark place I'd say a year perhaps.... maybe longer. I added just a few tablespoons I believe.
Thank's for the recipe. So beewax is the key in lotion thanks.
Hi there I just came across your recipe and I know it's I think 7 or 8 years old and I clicked on to get that pain blend but it looks like that company is not there anymore is there another pain blend that is as good that you can please and thank you
Any major oil company has pain blends and would work just as well. Thanks for watching!
Winterberry and black pepper essential oils help for muscle pain too.
Good evening wear can I buy essentials oil block from what company thank you
That company has closed unfortunately :( sorry! Any pain blend of essential oils would be helpful.
Is this a Body Butter?
It looks THICK for a Lotion...
I love this video
Have you heard of a lotion bar Judi Christopher? Those are harder than this.
Yes it's more of a butter consistency!
I cant wait to try this! Thank you for sharing! x
+Irene Margaritis thanks for the comment! hope you've given it a go!
I did and it's amazing stuff! Just not sure how much beeswax i was meant to add and when? Also can't find the essential oil "bloc" anywhere. However it was great. Will try making it again this week. Thank you for sharing. God bless you x
Bloc is our pain relief blend specific to our company. Here's the straight link to it if you want to read what oils it includes bepure.ly/MemberToolsDotNet/ShoppingCartv3/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=17992&CatalogueID=212&PartyID=0&PartyGuestID=0&InternalUse=1&ProductGroupString=66.67&ReferringDealerID=813312
If you add beeswax (you don't have to) do it as you melt everything down. I like to add several TBS maybe, to just firm up the lotion a bit and increase absorption. I prefer and recommend local beeswax
+Aroma Droppers fantastic. will have a look now. thanks again x
Thanks for the recipe.
+Stephanie Wilson xoxo no prob! thanks for commenting!
Healing skin and Body Lotions also Great for Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing
It is my understanding if you heat the oils, it destoys the benefit.
you're not heating the essential oils just the butters
Thats why the Essential oils were added after the butters cooled.
Printed recipe anywhere? What's the lotion ( I guess) in that bowl?
Yes the pain rub is what I'm mixing in the bowl. I take it from there and put it in jars for sealing and using once it's all mixed.
Should add peppermint essential oil “last”.... overall a great 👍 recipe !👏🌹
For my mom, so I hope it works. :)
+Irvin Isbell thanks for viewing, hope you've had success!
Is or can this mixture be used for massage? Will it provide a lot of glide along the skin or does it seem to absorb into the skin rather quickly? Thank you!
mmmm... possibly used for massage.. it's pretty firm tho, but is heavy and greasy. i'm not a massage therapist so hard for me to advise
Why such a small bowl!
I doubled the recipe to get more bang for my buck while making the video.... and realized in the middle of it that it was too small LOL ... but didn't want to reshoot! Thanks for watching! Hope you tried it, it's a fantastic recipe that is popular with my friends!
I went to look for Bloc EO and it's not coming up... Are you in a different region? The blending was great!! LOL I have always wanted mine pain cream whipped but didn't want to take the time and make the mess.... Love your videos btw! Blessings to you!
+DeanaSusan Bloc is a Purely blend of oil - if you don't use Purely brand most other brands have a pain relief blend. :) Thanks for your comment! www.bepure.ly/tiffiney
@@LoveontheFarms good evening trying to find where I can purchase block essential oil can you let me know please
How mucho bee wax you and? And what point in the recipe you added
You can add it during the liquid stage before cooling it down... how much is really determined by how stiff you want the rub to be. Typically I might add a few tablespoons to give it a bit more stiffness.
if I don't hve Shea butter?
You. Oils probably sub cocoa butter … may change consistency
I have everything except Lemongrass and Bloc. What else can use to replace these two? I have the doTERRA Physician Kit Essential Oils and Eden's Garden Aphrodisiac and Cypress Essential Oils...I want to get as much use out of the oils as possible, my mother-in-law has swelling and joint issues in her leg and I want to help provide her some relief...just not sure what oils mix well together...Thanks in advance!
+Jamie Griffin lemongrass is MONEY for joint issues! you really need it... Bloc you don't HAVE to have but it's our pain relief blend - similar but better than doterra's deep blue. Lemongrass is not that expensive normally. If you need it quickly our shipping is fast... you'd have it by the weekend if you ordered from my website tonight or early morning. www.bepure.ly/tiffiney
wintergreen, birch, those are my two favorite pain relievers.
Jamie Griffin : how about lemon 🍋 verbena ?
Where can I find all these ingredients?
Melissa Worley the oils at my website www.bepure.ly/tiffiney the butters and such on amazon or bulk apothecary online.
Approx how long in fridge ??
just enough to harden through - I've never timed it
I live in chronic pain from spondylolisthesis as well as a slipped disc sending pain down both my legs. It's hard to believe the hype of essential oils until I was so desperate I would try anything. I started a blog to hopefully help others in their journey to a better life. Hope this helps you guys!

+Taryn Kelly hope you've given the recipe a try! it would be very helpful i'm sure

Thank you for answering my question. Great video I'll try this one day. Can afford to do this now.
You said coconut butter and coconut oil.
Joy scalzo-monticue sorry misspoke ... coconut oil and coco butter and shea are part of this recipe
I was told NOT to microwave any of the oils or butters; is that true?
+Crafty “CLR” Accountant i don't recommend to microwave essential oils for sure, and i do not do that in this video. as far as the butters... for sure you can do it over a double boiler if preferred, but they've got to be melted down to some degree in order to combine.
How much beeswax do I use?
Where do you get Bloc? I can't find it online.
you can get it from my website www.bepure.ly/tiffiney it ships super fast - you would have this week!
i probably used 1/4 of a cup.... not much
Thank you so much.
Where do you purchase Shea butter?
Online or at your local health food store.
It is really expensive, especially online.
I use the Now brand Shea butter because it fits my budget and it has worked great for me. It's $7 on amazon and i think that's about what i payed in my local health food store. They are the least expensive one I've come across.
+DIY Pi bulk apothecary is a great resource online
