Dropping the channel volume to 0 before even starting with the plugin and then dialing it up to taste is a really good practice.
ARP God at it again. His melodies seem so simple / synths in construction, but when put together...insane. Can't get over it.
I like his music and he knows what sounds good together.
That's what he truly excels at: Chords and arps. I bet it's why he prefers cleaner sounds overly compressed and distorted ones.
If a sound has too many harmonics, it becomes extra dissonant. That's why an overdriven guitar sounds great playing power chords, but not "jazzier" chords. Power chords are very consonant, a 1 and a 5. "Jazzier" chords are a lot more dissonant to the point that it becomes too much with overdrive.
It's also my theory as to why dubstep has basically devolved into obnoxious rhythmic bass noises. The sounds they often make now have too much harmonics to do anything except chug out some obnoxious rhythm like a Drop Infinity tuned metal guitar.
Keep em coming, love these. Let's you watch all the important stuff without having to sift through hours of streams.
THE AIRHORN CAME ON WHEN I WASN"T LOOKING AND SCARED THE SHIT OUTTA ME!

Anyone else excited for Joel's "stuff I used to do"
Dudeeeee these midi notes are his midi pack how dope
I wonder when deadmau5 circles with the mau5 is he trying to emphasize on teaching us something he does that alot.
this reminds me of Prydas song (can't remember its name) mixed with HR 8938 Cephei
Sounds like his own (deadma5) cover of Munyari, yes. I also got the HR 8938 Cephei vibe from this as well. There's potential here.
Sounded like he muttered something at 2:59
I wish I could come up with melodies as good as mau5's ;.;
Try humming and write those melodies or try music theory chord and arp structures leading to such melodies
Same dude.
Poly rhythms.
OH SHIT! YOU JUST GOT REKT SON!!!
What stops people from colouring a real weapon in bright colours and saying it's fake?
Size of the barrel.
A fake gun shouldn't be shooting bullets
Nice Melody
RE-RE-RE-REEEEEKTT
127.5 😢 127 and a half!
That airhorn tho
where does he get those kicks from??? I need more of them in my life
Try Vengeance essential samplepack, or even better make ur own analogue kick with Sonic Kick 2 u can even make ur kick stick to ur root note with Kick 2, top tier vst for fast and good kick.
cool! 😃
nice
How does he " one click track " open the editor? And visa versa
Who else got confused by the title of the video.
Most of polyphobia is one note, and when it isn't it's just monophobia which was already written.
Why does this remind me of the the Halloween theme?
TOP KEK BOTTOM KEK
BPM on 127.5 trololol
3:01
@@KoepenickDrums damn bug get out of my screen
@@KoepenickDrums lmao earrape ass nigga
What's he doing to sample drums real quick by just going down in the browser? Is that a simpler I see cut off with hot swap?
He's using a clip from polyphobia that he saved as a clip in ableton, this is not that song.
where does he get those wonderful streams?
meow-meow i think
+veicca twitch stickcam CZcams...wherever they live
Lol 2:35 Rekt :D :D
0:01, 1:30, 2:00, (4:00- ) 4:30, 5:30
i hate the fact that this is mono, takes out so much of what makes the music good
KEK LOL
seeing his cpu usage spike like that, makes me feel a lot better about my current cpu LOOOL. its inevitable
The new polyphobia sounds nothing like this wtf
ik ive been tryna find that polyrythem synth thingy
It sounds more like this - Deadmau5 - Erechtheus (Chimaera MIDi Pack) hehe
@@Swegor same chords from Snowcone too
Hey, can someone tell me what he does at 1:40 ? its probably super obvious but i cant see what his mouse does because of the facecam thing
Sounds like he pulls down the filter cutoff on the synth
@@DJRY360 no not that the part after it where it sounds like a bell
@@mir04901 yeah I think that is just the resonance of the filter.. if you push a filter it starts to self oscillate
What is he doing when he highlights black at the beginning?
Idk somehow he’s converting notes to chords
wtf was that airhorn
Virus VST
Top Kick LOL
Yeah. I've noticed it too. Kick is so juicy! Yum!
Anyone know what deadmau5 uses for his bass?
this would sound good with some hill billy drums...
I'm definitely 1st
The studio is overkill for this inbox productions.. just saying
Absolutely agree. Still - imagine the possibilities! I'm almost exclusively ITB now, when I started out everything was a seperate box. I still have a couple of modern external analogue synths but imagine being able to go to an original Jupiter 8 on a whim - If it was as professionally hooked up as his studio clearly is, you would, wouldn't you? Shame not a lot of us can afford it :(
