been waiting for u to upload it , thanks mang
thanks for making these videos
I can't wait for it to be finished and released, and I love watching him make it. I think he'll have a different type of name tho
guess what
@@SNST3184lol... i haven't kept up on deadmau5 in a looong time
@@SNST3184 polyphobia sounds totally different, its a deadmau5 thing
I don't understand why he scrapped the glitched mix of this.. Sounded so good in my opinion. It's like he put a snowcone filter on this one lol.
The way he sits in the chair haha basically L from Death Note
its L who sits like dedmau6
It's very comfortable sitting like this y'know😂
Also you can see how he didn't changed his old basic chair even having money to buy every one in the market.
Deadmau5 does it because it increases his deductive skills by 40%
Deadma5ter at work.
Wonderful Job, great featuring 👧 💖
i do the same thing when mixing .... two kicks top and sub
Is this real life, is this fantasy? The first one to be enjoying this! :D
So lucky to be alive!!
Oskillator WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY
Oskillator *T
YYEEEEEEAHHHHHYAAAAAAA
Has anyone seen his actually writing process? These videos typically show him drag and drop midi files that he has already written.
Yes loads of videos if it
Ohhh shit, PSP VintageWarmer.
I know how to bus now, thanks!
TOP KEK LOL // BOTTOM KEK LOL
rofl
kids these days dont know what rofl means , shame
i know this whole stream is in mono, or mostly even though theres some random side content, but whats causing it to sound like theres some sort of reverb hes running everything through?? i cant figure it out. you can even clone exactly the sounds he uses to the T (literally copy it from the video) and it will not sound like what it coming out of his computer. idk im so curious
@Timmy Audio no he removes OTT, it sounds like some stereo phase reducer or some codec that’s adding noise or, I don’t know. I just don’t know what software it COULD be
@nikola
its his mic (to talk to viewers) picking up room ambiance (reverb), summed in obs
nobody has mentioned that this isn't polyphobia
Do we know what it is?
it sounds like a part 2 of hr cephi
I know he was using Bitwig for a while, does anybody know why did he sticked to Ableton instead? I'm looking for a change of DAW from FL, so I would really like to know why did Joel stick to Ableton, more now that Bitwig Version 2 is launching
Ableton Live is mature, intuitive and easy to use, huge community, support, MAX for Live and controllers made exclusively for Ableton Live
even some sample packs being made exclusively for Ableton Live
Bitwig is a rip off made by guys that lost their job when worked for Ableton
Thanks for your response, a huge fail I see on Ableton is that it doesn't have VST3 compatibility, there are plugins only available on VST3, but guess I can use other DAW to use that stuff... So there's no pro on Bitwig in your opinion? I thought the guys from Studio One and Bitwig did some improvements fusioning the cool stuff from all the DAWs as they are newer ones
I used Cubase, Logic, Studio One, but none of them compare to Ableton Live in terms of workflow, speed and simplicity. Now I spend my time making music and sounddesign instead of routing and finding where my channels, instruments and eq's are. Also Ableton stock plugins are very good, you can use only them to mix and master your tunes. Even Deadmau5 uses them instead of high end hardware gear he has lol. Are you sure you need VST3? I never used Bitwig because it was beta version back then, and still I prefer Ableton interface, I like it's simple/minimalistic style.
Yes I've seen too that Ableton stock plugins are pretty simple but complete, and yes some plugins are only on VST3. I've seen that Deadmau5 complaint about something hardware related on Bitwig, but I don't have any hardware, so maybe I'll give it a try too, but Ableton really calls me. Thanks man!
dani, save your money with bitwig. i had the misfortune of buying a licence and it is honestly an immature steaming pile of crap that can't be called a serious DAW. It's missing even fundamental things like non-overlapping audio (or midi for that matter) clips. Yes, that's right.....if you overlap your clips, one of them will literally, destructively, eat into the other. unreal right? The fun doesn't stop there either.... it's just unstable, and has cpu spikes on projects that aren't even big. I swear, the dev team must only test their program using only the included bitwig plugins on test projects that have 1 track.
These sentiments aren't just from me, and are widespread, and instead of addressing them, bitwig has chosen to push forward into misdirected endeavours, like trying to build touch integration into the DAW, and other such non-priority things. I'm all for touch (I don't believe it's anywhere near 'there' yet as far as speed and efficiency when compared to mouse/keyboard), but really, they need to be fixing their core program first.
So in short, as it stands, bitwig is nothing but a nice toy that can't be taken seriously as yet, and is helmed by a dev team that does not give two shits about fixing the fundamental issues that plague the program, but would rather spend their efforts on secondary-priority things that will make the program seem 'cool' and hence sell more copies.
i keep reading the title as polyphia xd and i get confused cus polyphia wasnt big/known 6 years ago xd
Holy fuck, Joel.
Anyone have any idea what he is typing in between tweaks?
he's typing in chat
I Want Do Something Incrdible With Laptop...!!!,If There Is Any 32b Win Xp Sp2...!!!? ...Its Cool To Me...GoodDone .
wait wait wait... did he put s1 imager on a master channel?
Why not? Widen that bish up ;)
But this doesnt make shit happens with mono compatibility?
Breno Braga Well, only if you are in that area where it tells you that mono is getting funked with. (I think that is how it works)
R3BBiT thnx
Part of mixing is making sure that it sounds as wide as possible while balancing it with mono compatibility. If he widens a certain frequency band by a little bit, it will sound 99% the same on mono while giving stereo listeners a really good wide sound
Any idea what he's always stopping and typing...surely he's not replying to his chat stream...doesn't seem to have anything to do with the music procress unless he's naming things or making notes
A lot of times he does reply the stream's chat
this guy made my music sound good
He's got 1300 US $ worth of PSP plugin's alone. . . Jelly.
Me too... have sold all my hardware and bought plug ins for 7500 bucks. Dondt miss anything..
What's the point of having racks of high end hardware and mixing in the box with waves plugins... Not even UAD plugins
probably he HATES to recall... and its mostly for recording or to do a very specific thing most on the sound design side
a LOT of people use waves plugins on most major releases . there's no équivalent to L316 or linear phase EQ in UAD land . they are also more convenient as they're native . I have both Waves and UAD and I use both . The waves SSL collection is used a lot in electronic pop and hip hop . Waves L1 is a digital classic and used as well in heavy metal mixing
I'm a UAD Card owner and honestly it's doesn't sound better than waves plugin
it happens to me all the time if I'm too high to move to the rack
What´s the point? Pretending some skills and show of.
yeah whats with all that analogue gear and he is all in ableon...joker
Wow PSP VW
That's what I said lol!!!
Yeah gearslutz recommends it still in 2021
Always been a fan of these but Joe has is camera is in the worst of places;)
Wow that's an old windows version
PCs that are used for CPU heavy things like music production are usually set like this. So it's actually not a theme but with everything theme-related/aesthetic totally removed so the computer can allocate more brain power to the DAW! It's kinda like not wearing pants at home; you have much more freedom and comfort but it's definitely not flattering to look at.
I bet the computer he's using is pretty powerful...I'm aware that he doesn't like visual distractions though - that might be why!
he is really not a good mixing/mastering engineer
explain?
He does what he does and it works, good enough.
Has someone been reading mixing and mastering books? I'll give you a hint. Take everything they say with a grain of salt. Let your ears be the judge of everything
his mixes sound superclean and super fat, so what the actual fuck do you mean by that?
I'm with you Mr Stukov, and furthermore let me ask him again. So... what the actual fuck THE FUCK! do you mean by that?
