it used to be, but isn't anymore, someone on reddit put a download link, just look up "Xfer Rekt Vst download" and you should find it
(air horn is in the first five minutes, for the others who were skipping around trying to find it)
to me, this version sounds really, really good. would love a release based on it

Whats his gear? What programs does he use? Where can I get this information? This stuff is magic.
He's mainly using Ableton and Serum as a synth for his characteristic mau5 sound :)

I find that most drum samples need at least a bit of tweaking, namely layering, pitch shifting, volume envelopes to make them useful. I've done both and I feel that samples are so good and clean these days that making you own is so much more work for the same effect. Sometimes I make the bass part of a kick myself and get a sample for the "click" on top.
deadmau5 is known for using Vengeance Samples, but he still layers them and together with the synths, you barely notice it.
both. I don’t think any producer would just use samples as they are, you gotta mold them to your own track.
