Im still driving my 1997 Volkswagen Jetta TDI 1.9L. I had to change out the brake lines, other then that, I had it since day one. Very reliable vehicles. Cold Winters of Canada and Road salt galore here. Engine barley has 250,000KM on it. Basically I'm just starting to break in the engine now.

No where did you hear that? on the internet? Diesels can last for 2 to 3 times longer than gas engines with proper maintenance.

How did u get such a big Nav Display??? is this the 315??

Well the older north american ones wernet because they were made in mexico. If you buy a diesel you need to keep the fuel injectors clean otherwise they will clog overtime leading to a costly repair. Also Volkswagen why did u drop the turbo on the gas engine??? It was a great feature!

There is a both Jetta and a Passat in Europe. The Jetta is not called a Passat in Holland.
