Interesting to see the differences between shops. I love how that one shop seals all their records and frowns upon people checking them under light before buying and then another shop (Goner Records) has a demo turntable with a lamp next to it like every good shop has. 😂😂. For those just getting into this: don't ever buy a record from anyone who doesn't want you to look at it first.

CDs have outsold LPs in all years since about 1990 to the present. Still in 2020-2023.

Please, please don't scrub the records like that. Just hold the brush gently against the surface in a placement right across the record Fingers off the labels too..Seriously guys...never degrade unnecessarily.
