- I listened to "Stone Me Into the Groove" for the first time. Here's my reaction.
Here's the Spotify playlist of all of the reactions I've done: open.spotify.com/playlist/5Dz... - Zábava
Haha What do you MEEAN silly voice?! His voice is great for this song. I think Swedes care more about the voice being different and the person's energy than the voice being cookie cutter perfect.
I love this song and his voice is on point for this 60s inspired 90s music.
After all this years you still haven’t got it, Swedes look at the whole experience not only the voice. We have a bunch of singers that we learned to love for what they are saying and the music they make.
It’s time for you to react on Dan Hylander and Raj Montana Band and the song “Skuggor i skymningen”.
This was a massive banger back in the 90's...
I get that Nikas Frisks voice is not for everybody, but don't bash the singing. The singing is on point, weather You like the voice or not.
Anyone else thrown back to the early 90s where Rebecka de Ruvo is veejaying on MTV Europe?. This song was actually played quite a lot on MTV back in the day.
A real classic here:
Trance dance: you're gonna get it
This is the first time I've ever seen you.
You can't deny that great bassline.
Thank you so much for giving us some Atomic Swing! This is a fantastic band with so many great songs!! The Song writer Niclas Frisk is a very skilled songwriter, he made the music for several TV productions as well.
Hi there, I think you should react to Popsicle with the song ”Not Forever”. It is a really Good song that came in the 90’s.
Thank you for a wonderful channel by the way. Just keep going. I listen to all songs.
Take care! Ida from Sweden
This is classic 60 inspired rock. Some fun facts, when I was 16 some of my friends and I bumped into Niclas Frisk and the others in the band he played with then called Vanessa And The O's, where among others James Iha from Smaching Pumpkings was in. We were super big Smaching pumping fans at the time so for us it was great. It turned out that the band did not know where the venue was to perform that night, so it was good that we knew, who had already bought tickets weeks before and we were on our way to their concert.
Ohh Yeah now were talking! One of the best songs made! Niklas Frisk is a genius!i still claim that they had the best bassplayer in Sweden .
Congrats to 10.000 subscribers!Niclas Frisk from Atomic Swing and Andreas Mattsson from Popsicle made a band called Sweet Chariots and released a CD "Beat based/song centered/spirit led" in 2000, concidered "The record of the year". But if you don't like the nasal voice of Niclas you maybe won't like it. But thanks for this reaction and you made me happy by wearing a hoodie with my favourite color. 💗
What happened to "Stockholm" by Pugh Rogefeldt?🤔
This whole album was just so good! Wonder what you'd think of Ardis' "Ain't nobody's business"?
This song is hella groovy. And i dont agree on the voice, i think it fits perfectly. But to each their own.
Maybe some Wannadies? Shorty, You and me song ..
And of course Popcylce - Not forever.
Sweden sure made some awesome Euro music. This reminds me of my teenage years and early MTV when was MTV Europe
Visst, organisk soul med viss funk men även garagerock som The Soundtrack of our Lives.
Niclas Frisks samarbete med Andreas Mattsson gör att tipset naturligt blir Andreas band Popsicle - Not Forever.
Lasse Tenander - Rötter is a good classic that would be nice to see a reaction to :)
A good song back in the day.
Rolf Wikström - allt är gjort av plåt...i still want that 😁
Jaaa!!!!
Grattis till 10k!
Creeps is another great band you should react too.
Kan hålla med om rösten; krävde ett par tvångslyssnande (eftersom radion spelade låten ofta) för att acceptera rösten och börja gilla den. Sångarens manér påminde lite Mick Jagger.
This song/voice is an acquired taste - it will grow on you every time you hear it through the years. It is different/odd - but the genius of the song will manifest 4 u more and more every time you hear it. It will grow.
Would like to see *Infinite Mass - Bullet*
Some old school Swedish hiphop that you might have missed:
Stonefunkers - M-Rock theory
Goldmine - Mic love
Infinite Mass - Area turns red
Funky definitly, but also rock, 60-70-styled rock music.
Stonecake med "Tuesday afternoon"! That song is really great👌
Väldigt Beatlesy - väldigt bra!
Here is a couple of classic bangers!
Inga problem remix - snook, Petter, Veronica Maggio
Tick tick boom - The Hives
Cobrastyle - Teddybears
Younger - Seinabo sey
Melody club - Stand up (baby)
Per Gessle - Här kommer alla känslorna
Instant repeater 99 - The soundtrack of our lifes
Release me - oh Laura
IF i used to Love u - Daniel lemma
LOSING My favorite game- THE cardigans
Visit to vienna- Sahara hotnights
Big big world - Emilia
Come along - Titiyo
Älska mig - ainbusk singers
O Sara - Mauro Scocco
Highway man - HOFFMAESTRO
You should really check out the music collective Blacknuss! Swedish soul/funk/jazz at its best! "Roll with me" features Robyn, Abel, Joshua.
Ja till Blacknuss men Roll with me är ingen klassiker. Välj istället Should have been you eller Last night a DJ saved my life.
Yep yep! Even if they're biting Indeep's great joint this version has such a tight beat and together Adam's vocab flow this one was, and still is, a club banger. "In the mix... in the mix..."
Heyo Jonathan, check out the talented Uppsala duo Koop's nu-jazz vibe on this joint they released over 20 years ago:
czcams.com/video/V9A1JLlwUaM/video.html
You have to make a reaction to Movitz! They have some really original style hip hop, rap songs. Na Na Nah!, Sammy Davis Jr. Or Skjut Mig I Huvet. 👌 Bangers imo!
Vad hände med Pugh Rogefeldt-reaktionen? Den verkar ligga kvar, men typ dold (kom upp i min feed nu, men går inte titta)
Fantastic song, party party!!!
Hög tid för Lisa Miskovsky - Lady Stardust!!! Eller varför inte Andreas Johnson - Glorious! You will love both, Jonathan, I promise you!!!
The guitar play and organ arrangement makes me accept the shortcoming of the vocals
Jonathan, kom igen nu: Curly Sue
I don't get Amerikanen's complaints about Niklas Frisk's voice at all. I think it's great and perfect for this song. Strange how you can disagree.
Det är nog lite pga det lite överdrivet svengelska uttalet. "I think it's wåånderfoool"
Det är paradoxalt något som gör att låten får karaktär och sticker ut. Kan vara lite svårt för just amerikaner dock..
i have never ever heard this song. please react to the song Daniels Jojk by Jon Henrik Fjällgren. he wrote it to rememeber his friend who died
React to "Ghost - Cirice".
Ain't no real funkateer bands in Sweden except Neon Romeoz & go-go funksters Stonefunkers. Maybe Neoholics btw... Butt it's nevertheless a groovy joint. Square biz!
Richard Wolff nästa låt alltså? 😂 Om du inte gillar Niklas Frisks röst så undrar jag vad du kommer att säga om Richard Wolff… 😂 Frisk är ju rena Pavarotti i jämförelse.
Inga spoilers, tack.
Basic Element-Move me
You should perhaps listen to their other hit. 'smile' ☝🏼
It's a better one for you I think 😊
You will definitely NOT like Pojken på månen, since Rickard Wolff was not a great singer in the way you want a singer to be. I have no relation to Atomic swing but his voice is ok and not silly in my opinion.
Now do try Galenskaparna och After shave! Silly songs yes, but with something extra when it comes to singing. Their most successful songs unfortunately don't show that, but there are some you could call classics that do. "Säng, säng, säng" (has to be a live version) and "Bara sport" are two great ones!
No spoilers, please.
Aaww.. should have been "smile". I think that's their bigger hit?
Huuu, sångaren var verkligen eländig. Ganska menlös sång med.
The singer's pronunciation is very weird. Sounds like the Swedish Chef in the Muppet Show.
This guy has lost it.
I always mini-cringe when I hear this song. I just think the English is so bad.
Smile is a better song with Atomic swing
