- I recently picked up a Victory V50 The Earl Guitar amplifier. This hand-wired amp is now discontinued but you can pick one up for very little compared to what they were new. This handwired made in the UK amp is a two channel EL34/ 6L6 beast with a variety of useable tones.

i just rediscovered my 2004 Fender Supersonic 1x12 Combo I've had since 2004. I've purchased a lot of amps and played a lot of shows. After all that I come to find this little Fender Combo sounds the best of all my amps even the vintage marshalls.
That intro sounded great - good clarity with plenty of body and a dash of grit thrown in!
I have one, second hand it was rubbish till i replaced all the valves , very very well made

i have a 77 jmp master model its basically the best sounding amp ever in the history of overdriven master volume amps. with a good Tube Screamer its basically unstoppable.

I went from a Bogner Ecstasy to this amp a few years ago and thought I’d be missing out in what I loved about my Bogner. But the clean channel is extremely versatile and a great pedal platform for my rig. Where it really shines to me is when you pull the clean channel knob out to get the crunch channel. That channel dimed is one of my favorites.
What I would recommend is to get a 2 button foot switch and use it if you wanna use that 2nd channel boosted - if I recall, it only affects channel 2 so the clean channel will remain unaffected. The way I have mine setup since I use it as a pedal platform most of the time is running all my drives and whatever other pedals in the front and my delay+reverb in the loop. What that allows me to do is use all the functionality of my pedals for the clean channel and for leads, can switch them off and hit the amp foot switch to go to channel 2.
Was thinking Bogner Ecstasy or V50/V100. Still happy with the V50?

Great sound and features, and you can pop 6L6’s into them too. Interested to know how much it weighs as there are conflicting weights on the Victory website?
How does it compare to your Matchless amp? Also, after playing the Cornford amps, would you say that this amp sounds more defined and creamier or the Cornford amps (Mk50/Hellcat)? Btw...Absolutely awesome channel and videos!

I’ve been trying to decide between a Victory head, or a Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister deluxe 20 head.
I have both victory v30 the jack and h&k tubemeister 36 and what i can tell you is once i got the victory i’ve never turned on my tubemesiter again
