Yesterday I had a game with my friend, when we had onryo on Willow street map, it was freezing in the kitchen AND in the basement hallway AT THE SAME TIME, ghost was doing hunts from basement last couple times, so we had to move ALL equipment to the basement within 25 seconds of safe between hunts (we didn't know ghost type yet, it was orbs and freezing), this took so long to get it, but we made it successfully
That's a really great format, I want more of this because it teaches you how to be a better teacher and how to place yourself in the position of other people which is a huge skill. In programming we need to know this very skill in order to become good

I had such an abstract dream while I was listening to one of your videos about phasmophobia with psycho and cjay, it was something like a pirate theme park which was flooded (so you had to walk through the water to get to the location first) and the haunted "building" was a huge climbing frame with various rooms like a treehouse almost with small corridors and such where the ghost would chase you and even one place where you could jump down back in the water to flee from the ghost but the ghost also could fall down there and sort of assassin you like that KEKW

I personally would but since ghosts don't exist I just can't.

one time i was in a public lobby and these two guys said "What if we light the summoning circle and then run outside" so i watched them get locked in from outside it was so funny

The bit about forgetting the basics, is called the "Expertise Gap", I'm suspect Insym knows that since I think he's mentioned teaching before, but just posting that for other people's curiosity.
I remember when I first started playing and ran into the ghost with the crucifix and didn’t understand why I kept dying 😂 and spent a lot of time in the van. Saying that even now after over 2000+ hours of game play I still jump when the ghost comes into my face. Now that I’m more in control of my social anxiety I will definitely join a community day soon has it does look fun. Take care

16:47 You do have a tendency of, after you get all the information you need, randomly just walking around, playing with things, usually close to the ghost room, then you get surprised when the ghost suddenly started hunting. It's almost like you prioritize having fun over just getting out of there or something. : p

Lol! Me and a friend were playing the other night, we were still high sanity setting up in the ghost room we got hunted but it started in the basement hallway so we were trapped. Was a mimic demon so it hunted super early.
Oof, those early hunts can be brutal. I had one do that the other day where I was using Insym's x15 leveling settings. I was in the map for 70 seconds at 99% sanity, just found the ghost room and it hunted right in front of me with 0 grace period and murdered me. I was so sure it was a ghost event that dying caught me completely by surprise and I didn't even put it in my book.

Watching you actually helped my gameplay a lot. Now hunts aren’t as scary since I learned how to smudge and hide properly, I’m way better at recognizing ghost behaviors (guessed a polter off of a 0-10 activity spike with nobody in the building), and my game knowledge in general is way better.
So, that is to say, thanks Insym!

I had an onryo and it kept blowing out the candles 🕯 but it didnt hunt at all after all of them were off
I do this all the time the number of people that just don't care is weird. They do stuff its like start with this this or this throwing them on the ground they go okay and than do nothing with it and just stand in the house and weird areas.

my first ever ghost event was one of the walking kinds. i turned around and saw the big butcher dude walking up to my girlfriend and screamed so loud. why does she make me play scary games?
Wonderfull video. btw does anybody know if Proffesional mode is broken at the moment? ghost orbs and freezing temps completly bugged out for my team yesterday. We had for example a jinn on widow street and no where were freezing temps.
As in you only got 1 piece of evidence for the Jinn and we're supposed to get freezing for the 2nd?

im new and ik the game i did nighmare with peopole but im lvl 7 and sorry if thats stupid question but can you get 3 evidences in a run?
I’m a level 1 and my only win was on training so if you plan to play w a lvl1 fan I’ll usually be available from 3-7pm GMT but for the following week after 8am to about 10pm I’ll be available because there is no schl I am also available anytime today but I don’t exactly have a mic so communication may be awkward but I do have twitch and if you stream it i can type in chat. (Btw I’m a very easily spooked person and I’m not actually bad I’m rather just scared sorry lol)

It's a Jinn and not a Jinn until Schrödinger opens his box, then the superposotion collapses and it's either a Kinn or a cat.
so I played with my friends and a hunt started but two got in the closet while me and my other friend were in the bathroom but he was in front of me but it killed me, and no it wasn't a banshee

Ghosts play a game called Insymphobia and they are hunted by him.
I'm always terrified playing this game. My friends who I play with have different schedules now so we can't play together anymore. I literally opened the game last week and was so nervous to play by myself that I didn't even select a map and I closed out of the game. Anyone have tips for playing by yourself?
You can think of advantages you have as solo:
- You have all the items just for yourself, all the sanity pills and smudge sticks only for you
- You can hear stuff better (footsteps, touches)
- Your sanity depletes slower compared to playing in a group
Personally I get terrified of this game too but what I did as a noob is I went in nuts and tried to get as many events/hunts as possible rather than objectives just to 'numb' myself lmao. Like Insym said- prioritize escape/hiding spots, turning off equipment when hiding. Also imo at early game, it's scarier when the ghost doesn't do anything (interactions like door touch) as there's no clue to what type it is. So if it does something, another way to think of it is it's 'cooperating with you' to know the ghost type. Good luck!

Ask the devs to make a mobile version of PHASMOPHOBIA.
It will definitely increase the reach of the game too.
The devs are already working hard on Phasmo and its VR support. They don't have the time and manpower to work on a mobile version too. Especially since it won't be able to cross play, they'd have to rebuild the entire game from scratch, and it won't be as popular as P.C.
I have a question. How do you know someone died when you didnt even see it.
Good quality headphones most likely; you can hear a player choking sound when caught by the ghost.
On top of the choking noises, when someone dies the sanity board turns to a question mark for that player
