This is the reason I absolutely love MI series. In midst of intense storytelling and action, we have these humorous moments that makes these movies so much self aware and asks not to be taken so seriously. MI team chemistry is also absolutely on point especially it got better since Ghost Protocol. P.S. This made me miss William Brandt so much. I really hope he comes back one last time.😢
I watched MI7 in theaters and that was my first MI movie. I absolutely loved it so I decided to watch everything that came before. I found out that Jeremy was in MI4 I was so surprised. I love Jeremy. And he became like part of the team and everything! Ironic that he wasn’t in 7, so I was so confused on how he just *vanished*. I’m in the middle of 6 rn. This remind me of my first ever x-men movie being “apocalypse”, and I loved wolverine when I was a child and I remeber being so confused on why wolverine wasn’t in that movie. Funnily enough that was the only movie he wasn’t involved with (besides first class

One was cringey but I remember gushing over it lol then we had two oh good lord no a million times. Three comes along and major improvement but mehhh still not there. Ghost Protocol is when it really took off. Casting chef's kiss. Stunts chef's kiss. Storyline chef's kiss. Dead Reckoning is awesome but my heart is really set on rogue nation. I'm head over heels with Ilsa ❤ her and Ethan are such a delight.
I agree with almost EVERYTHING you said, like 2 and 3 being meh(even though 3 was an improvement over 2) and 4 being the movie where it really started to become a ROCK solid franchise. I would disagree on one thing though, 1 was a FREAKING badass movie.

Haven't seen Dead Reckoning yet, but Rogue Nation and Fallout are great movies. Rebecca Ferguson's chemistry with Tom Cruise is unbelievably good. I don't think there's been a woman in the mission impossible series that he's clicked like that with.

No love for Fallout? That's my favourite, albeit by quite a narrow margin - and it tops many other people's lists, from what I've seen.
