- Over the past year, Universal Orlando Resort has been in the processes of revamping its quick service menus in an attempt to provide higher quality cuisine. Along with these changes included the opening of the brand new DreamWorks Land and the transformation of the adjacent KidZone Pizza Company to DreamWorks Imagination Cafe. New items here include Boss Baby Beignets, Ogreroni Pizza, Strawberry Softpaws, & Can’t Stop the Donut.
At Universal Orlando's shopping and dining district, CityWalk, the quick service restaurant, Bread Box, has had some changes of its own. Often regarded as one of the higher quality quick service restaurants at Universal, Bread Box made the decision to revamp its entire menu. The only item that wasn't cut was the Hot Vegan Sandwich.
We stopped by both areas to see how these new offerings compare to the classics. We also had the opportunity to check out the Epic Universe Preview Center for the first time. See our thoughts, favorite bites and if we think that Universal's Boss Baby has better Beignets than Tiana.

I'm so excited for epic universe but I must say that food looked amazing I never noticed bread box maybe cause we rush in to the parks it's a bummer it rained but something too look forward to next time. And I'd love more universal. Disney. Home vlogs Anything you guys put out. Sam you look beautiful as always and Jay it amazing me eveytime how you have that outro saying mesmerized ❤
Epic Universe is going to be so incredible. Bread Box is on the upper level of city walk so it's hard to miss- great little spot though :) Hopefully we can catch the parade soon. Thank you for your very kind words Alessandra!
I also love floats of any kind, especially with strawberry Fanta. Breadbox looked really good! Excellent vlog, I'm always impressed how well u guys appear to handle the heat (I always look a mess at the parks). Almost at 9k Congrats 🎉❤
I am a float girlie too. Breadbox was delicious. There was some cloud cover that day which helped, but I am not going to lie filming in the heat is like an Olympic sport sometimes. Wearing the big hats has helped me, wearing a neck fan, and endless amounts of water. I bring my own water and ask for water at every stop. Can't believe we're almost at 9k- our goal for 2024 was to reach 10k so we're getting so close :) Thanks so much for all your support !
Hey it’s me, Jen moving to Davenport from Boston In 2 weeks:) sure do more Universal , hubby has never been and it’s been over 20 years for me. So I’m excited to check it out, especially the Harry Potter lands.

Not a huge Universal fan. Disney is my place. Would LOVE to see some reviews on places outside theme parks. Even other towns off the beaten path. Maybe waterfront spots too.
FYI Peppercorns in Hicksville closing after 30 years. Lots of changes on Long Island.
Our goal is to hopefully branch out more as we grow. We love exploring new places but the new Disney offerings seem to be helping more people find us so we've been leaning into that. After reading this I literally just told Sam we have to go back to Long Island to eat there. We've been really missing those LI spots recently. Hopefully we can make it up there soon 🙂.
How would you compare that pizza to Saratoga Springs?
Saratoga Springs is better in my opinion. The dough here is what surprised me. I may have been a bit generous with the 8 but it being better than Louie's genuinely surprised me.
How is the food there at citywalk?
Hits and misses but what we had was a hit for us 🙂

They always make great sandwiches. Just a touch overpriced. Jay you know you can get a chopped cheese at any Bodega in the city for $5. 😂
The theme park bubble adds that premium charge lol We need more $5 sandwiches in our lives!!!
