- Join me for a visit to The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen at Universal Orlando Resort CityWalk for an updated dining experience for 2023! In my ongoing effort to show you all the dining options at Universal Orlando, we visit the highly themed and very popular Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and try appetizer, main and one of their famous "over the top" milkshakes and explore their chocolate shop & gift shop! I show you around, explore the theming and back story, and we even meet Toothsome's unique characters, Penelope Toothsome (Professor Doctor Penelope Tibeaux-Tinker Toothsome, proprietress, to be precise!) and her robot friend Jacques, who are a delight! I also show you around the Chocolate Emporium and all the wonderful tasty confections, treats, chocolates, cotton candy and more they have on offer, plus unique gifts and more. As always in my dedicated themed restaurant videos, I show you all around, share the details, story, and all the fun elements that make this a unique place to eat! Hi, this was nice. Toothsome looks like my kind of place. It's theme and characters are cool. I'm a chocolate fanatic, and I always have some kind of chocolate after I eat lunch and super. I was there almost 2 years ago and those Truffle Fries are still the gold standard to which all french fries are now compared. Best. Fries. Ever. 💯💯

Toothsome was our favourite place to eat when we visited Universal from the UK, we ate there when ever we could. The milkshakes are the best. 😘

A macaron - mack-ah-ROHN is a meringue-based sandwich cookie that is tinted with food coloring. A macaroon - mack-ah-ROON is a drop cookie made with shredded coconut

We went here right after getting engaged, and our entire family really loved it! I loved their nachos, super simple but the queso/melted cheese on them was amazing! I love their milkshakes as well, but 100% recommend sharing. We've seen people pour out entire milkshakes because they are so big!

My husband and I love this restaurant! All of the food we had was excellent, the chocolate bread pudding was heavenly!
A few years back after along day in the park , we got lucky enough to get in for a late dinner. Penelope came up to our table and insisted I got dessert first before my main meal😂 I waited until after. Great atmosphere and food.

Loved this place the one time I got to visit, must-do next chance! "Macaron" and "Macaroon" are two different things - the bright little round sandwich cookies are "French Macarons", made with almonds and love. "Macaroons" are coconutty, marshmallowy freeform toasted joy. Both good, just it can be a surprise if you're expecting one and get the other!
Love the charming character that is all throughout the restaurant. It was cute with the Robot and the owner walking around meeting guests. The food looked good.

My mom was so tickled to see Jacque and Professor Toothsome! They are great actors and very courteous (we did not have reservations but they still took pictures with us)!
My daughter got me a box of toothsome truffles for Christmas last year, probably not thinking too much about it. Now I’m obsessed! I’m leaving in one week for Universal Resort in a week, and toothsome is at the top of my must do list.
The short ribs are delicious! A server once told me to ask for mashed potatoes instead of grits and OMG it's so good! The Curious Cacao drink is my go to when we eat there.
The “king of the birds “ and a “stack of books wrapped in twine” 🤣 what a wonderful vlog, we love your restaurant videos and tours because you are so fun and thorough! This was excellent and we smiled all the way through (and now I’m hungry).

I ate there for brunch just before the shutdown and got the quiche lorraine. It was delicious. Instead of a shake, we did the May Contain Nuts sundae split among the table - YUM!!
Feels hungry for chocolates. But I will try Toothsome Chocolate Emporium once I’m in Orlando.
My family loves Toothsome. Food has always been good. We ate at Confiscos earlier this month based on all the positive feedback and were truly disappointed.

The best food there is really their meals. My husband loves their meatloaf and I favor the short ribs. As for appetizers, we are the Totchos fam. But you got me thinking of adding wings. Haven’t met a dessert we haven’t loved. But my husband swears by the chocolate mousse. This is a Special night out spot. Glad you gave it another chance!
As a major steampunk fan, I would totally eat here if I was in Orlando. I would also tell Penelope Toothsome that she shares her first name with one of my paternal cousins, who I call 'Penny' as a nickname.

I was lucky enough to try the Hollywood location during a soft open... the bread pudding dessert was INCREDIBLE!
Me and my family actually ate here when we visited the resort back in 2019. It's one of those places where I don't remember what the food tasted like, but I do remember it being delicious. I've gotten a really big appetite recently, so seeing this video makes me want to return someday.

We absolutely LOVE Toothsome! We will visit whenever we go. Before we started your video, we said a great chocolate combo meal would be the bread, the wings, and the chocolate old fashioned. Maybe add the totchos. Seriously!

One of my favorite restaurants. I always go when I’m at Universal. I also sit on the 2nd level where you can see down to first level . I love the whole steampunk Victorian vibe . The chocolate bread is sooo good. I have reservations in 2 weeks . 😎😎😎

Well, if I should get the opportunity to go to Florida some day, sounds like a great place to eat! The sandwich looked great (I'll pass on the truffles thank you) (and the espresso) but I want one of those milkshakes! Incredible looking. My daughter would love it. Thank you Jackie.

😍 I have eaten here before and I agree it's really good. I would say best place at city walk. I recommend the Teriyaki salmon and the Quiche Lorraine and the Warm chocolate almond bread is a must !

The only thing consistent about theme park food, is that it’s inconsistent haha. I feel you on the Sammie part. Everytime I eat at my favorite places it’s like the food is diff every time.
So true! Whenever i see others do reviews of how “amazing” or awful some theme park food is, I know it could be totally different on another day in other circumstances. So I always try to give places more than one chance and talk only about my experience, and share things like theming and story, like the whole picture, but not generalize the food, if that makes sense.

I Enjoyed watching your video and I was so in love with the food and milkshakes that I was like waianae there I could be celebrating my birthday there on Friday well hopefully somewhere near future I'll have to try to get down that way and thank you for sharing this video Jackie it was wonderful.
My husband and I went for dinner in September; and they did come up to the second floor. Penelope was yelling at Jaq from the upper level and then he took the elevator up. So I guess it just depends on them.
That bread is to die forrrrr along with the salted caramel butter.
Crying in Canadian at the conversion rate still, so we shall wait a bit longer until we can come back.
