This one we will be reading so no need for you to translate. Getting to know few kanji like Sente advantageous etc. Might help. Getting pdf/kindle version and using translation tools might help. also there is free CZcams content about it in Japanese as well, practical games to watch with automatic subtitles translation.

Thank you for the video! My only question would be, this style with the sitting king, isn't a little bit dangerous in the middle- and endgame?
It is the risk you are taking in this opening. No castle but quick attack. There are some different variations when we do move the king, but because we use left silver to attack we never will be able to castle solidly.
This is also why people like it. No castle knowledge needed, no deep theory, just fighting. I find that many chess players like it.
Hi , thanks a lot , i started learning shogi about 2 days ago you are the reason why i didn't quit in despair , i have a question why would he retreat with the rock after p88 shouldn't he stay there to prevent us from opening our bishop and gain some moves with their silver first before retreating so we wouldn't be able to defend with our silver?
Welcome to shogi :) good questions! yes i think rook not retreating was explained later in the chapter! Also later they explain faster version of attack by not exchanging pawn and prioritizing the silver.

Hi, I've been trying to learn Ureshino from your playlist for a while and a question came to my mind - is it actually possible to play Ureshino as gote?
I was wondering if I can actually do that, because if the game went like:
P-26 S-42 P-25 G-32 P-24 Px24 Rx24
then we're forced to put down pawn on 23 (not on 22 since there is still our bishop). Then, after his rook goes back, bishop cannot go to 31 since we would be in the same position as if we put the pawn on 87, should we play as sente.
Our silver push is the very first move in game and so I think, that if the opponent sees this move, he can immediately go for the line given above and completely stop our plan.
So my question(s) basically is(are): Can I play Ureshino as gote and if yes, should the situation above occur, how would one play next? And if not, is there some other opening which you would recommend for gote to play, which could in essence be familiar to Ureshino (ie trading defense for attack, since I think, that switching between offensive and defensive styles of play could be hard)?

I think Ureshino is less about p*22 and more about left silver used in the attack. I found this example for you: shorturl.at/mBEP9
There are many other openings you can try! The main question is do you play static or swinging rook?

Bishop exchange might be exciting as well! The most played opening nowadays, Fujii plays it often and gote has nice winning chances too

Quick search says yes but against climbing silver one needs to protect differently: e.g. g88 k78
