  • Feb 2022 I drove to Death Valley California from Canada to spend a day checking out all the sites. Near the end of my day, a rare Haboob showed up, so I had to finish my visit the next day.
In this video I only visit the EASY to access locations in the park. No backroads, no long hikes.
This was one of my favorite parks to visit ever! Highly recommended when it is not hot out (Oct - April).

Glad you like them! Where ever I go, weird weather. Should I avoid visiting San Francisco?

I used to live in Shaunavon (like you do now?). So how does a Haboob compare to a plow wind? I remember a few of those while living in Shaunavon. They are awesome acts of nature for sure!
Were there also warnings to turn off the air conditioning of your vehicle on the steep climbs? I remember seeing those signs in Utah and Arizona. It specified for the summer months. Apparently it will tax your vehicle to the point of breaking.

I am not sure what the difference is, I didn't even know this existed. But I did see a couple of those signs, meant for when it is hot out. It was not too hot on my trip.
