    So cute! Could you cut the ‘tabs’ like you did on the card, but then cut the ghosts on the white and have the insert on the outside of the front making the ghosts gray? Hope that makes sense🤔. That would be cute too.

    Looks lovely ❣️ you can put your blade on the right upper corner on the front side ( white area ) as long as the Joy writes . That area is Kinde of magnetic. So you don’t lose your blade .

    • @Bethadilly
      @Bethadilly  Před 3 lety +1

      Thank you! I personally haven’t had that method of storing my blade reliable, sometimes it work and sometimes it it doesn’t. I think it’s just a coincidence that that section has some magnetization. :)

  • @cynthiajordanbrown3923

    Super Cute Card! I don’t use a Cricut machine anymore as I am a Silhouette user. I’m getting tempted to purchase the Joy. My last Cricut’s were the Cricut Expression and Cricut Imagine.I love watching your videos even when they don’t pertain to me. Well, maybe I can do a similar card using my silhouette. I’m so looking forward to November 1st. for the Christmas crafts. Blessings!

    Can I use my cricut joy to write recipes on my lined recipe cards I already have? I'm not sure how it would work with a card that has lines instead of just a blank slate

  • @lindahucklesby6139
    @lindahucklesby6139 Před 2 lety

  • @queenzummo
    @queenzummo Před 3 lety

    Great tutorial because I do a lot of horizontal cards. Question: if Cricut has sorted your design to mats #1, 2 & 3, can you choose the order to cut and/or print? For example, can you do mat 2 before you do mat 1? Hope this makes sense.

    • @Bethadilly
      @Bethadilly  Před 3 lety +1

      Great question! If your mats are not in the order that you want them to be, once you are in the cutting screen you can click to highlight the mat that you want to cut. That allows you to manually control which mat is cutting at what time!

  • @heidimarie1068
    @heidimarie1068 Před 3 lety +2

    Hello,
    Love your tutorials! I have the Joy and when I choose a card in design space, and use the card mat it cuts the insert slots to close to the edges (on the top). It won’t let me adjust the design before I cut. I’m sliding the card to the top of my mat. Any tips or have you experienced this? I haven’t tried making a card from scratch.

    • @Bethadilly
      @Bethadilly  Před 3 lety

      I haven't come across this issue, but I would think designing your own card would help you be able to fix that to place your corner inserts where you'd like. :)

    Love your cute Halloween card! I'm considering the Cricut Joy, and I've been watching your great tutorials. However, I have a request. When your in design space could you go just a bit slower. I keep having to reverse the video over and over again to understand what you are clicking on in the tutorials. Thank you so much---

    • @Bethadilly
      @Bethadilly  Před 3 lety

      I understand. For those who need the instruction to be slower, I recommend slowing down the video speed to 0.75. If you're watching on a phone, with the video up, you can do that by selecting the 3 circles at the top of your screen which will take you to video speed. On the computer, you can click the gears button to access the video speed. I try to stay at a medium pace to please everyone and to keep my videos at an appropriate length, but luckily you can speed it up and slow it down to your liking!

    • @AngiesQuilting
      @AngiesQuilting Před 3 lety +1

    So I have a question. Remember when you did video on cards that you bought at hobby lobby. I bought a box that have a floral front, wondering how to do a insert top that the floral would come through or can you do a insert on top that are smaller on top. Hope it makes sense

    • @Bethadilly
      @Bethadilly  Před 3 lety

      I think I understand your question. If you want the floral to come through, you could always cut that card to make it the insert piece. Or I suppose you could just make an overlay for the top of the card that sits on top and allows the floral card base to come through. Hope this helps!
